I think it depends on the airline. Cos last time, i used lufthansa and paid $363 for my baby's ticket. I was surprised Turkish charged $92.

Lucky you. I flew into atlanta last month using Air France. Delivered safely last week and when I called the airline to add baby to my ticket, I was told it Will cost $444. I asked a friend in Nigeria to call their Nigerian office and she was told that the ticket can only be added from the US. Please does anyone have a suggestion on how I can get a cheaper ticket as I am to return to naija in about 2 weeks time.

You should search for Turkish airline office around you to make the booking or call their customer service line to make reservation, if there's no Turkish office near you.

Hi house, I bought a Turkey airline ticket from travelstart to the US. How do I make the ticket reservation for the newly born baby for our returns to Nigeria. Please advice me.

@Nita3, have you gotten a response from the Nigerian immigration?

My dear, didn't hear from them before my travel date but i had to put my "faith" to work. Regardless of not getting the approval letter, i went ahead with my trip back to Naija.
On getting to Abuja, i checked my mail, and behold the approval letter.
God did it for me

Hello guys,

Please i need ur help. Am currently in california, and would like to know how to get my baby's nigerian travel passport and the procedure. I also want to know if this is compulsory and other ways I can get my baby to nigeria without securing a naija passport from here.

Thanks.

Hello, you don't necessarily need a Nigerian passport in order to bring your baby to Naija. You can get a Naija visa from a Nigerian consulate near you or apply for a visa on arrival. For visa on arrival, find below the procedure.
N/B: when applying for Visa on Arrival remember to attach the data page of both parents
