Scholace:
I am a man, i understand how responsible those days men are compare to now. Abortion is very much easier and easy to get now compare to then.

Men do not even make love with the supposed lady they intend to marry not until after marriage. It is widely common and acceptable then. Unlike now that most men have sex for fun and along the line unwanted pregnancy take place, and they began to claim they aren't ready for it yet, but they know how to have sex
It depends on how far back you meant. My own mother was impregnated at the age of 13 years in 1973 cause she didn't have parent, hence got taken advantage of.
I said this in pain cause that little incident of hers affected the lives of all we her children, both the male and female

Family / Re: Nigerian Man Proudly Shows Off His 2 Wives (pics/video) by Niyi4321: 8:59am On Jan 15
onatisi:
it is sad that many people see polygamy as a sin and something bad, the whites have brainwashed Africans to see our culture as bad and theirs as good. Even in Christianity, THERE IS NOWHERE IN THE BIBLE WHERE MARRYING MORE THAN ONE WIFE IS REGARDED AS A SIN,
but ironically the whites that taught us that polygamy is bad and unbiblical are now the same people telling us that lesbianism and homosexuality is good and are even
conducting same-sex marriages in their churches.
it is good to marry more than one wife if you can take care of them
Studying bar graph I see how you might think that polygamy is all puppy and rainbow.
Biblical you say, even the bible don't see marriage as necessity for any gender, color or tribe.
You can't overdo anything brought upon us by nature and still be as prosperous as you're supposed to be(except you cheat). Even to sleep in excess is trouble and sleep you must.
Fornication is sin but evidence shows that it doesn't bring as much backwardness on many individuals, communities or country as marriage does.
Only people that view marriage in the aspects of sex speak highly of polygamy.
You see it in the aspects of increase responsibilities and distractions you change your keywords.

Why do broke men get shamed by women that are equally broke ...is that not double standard ??
The same way shorter women body shame short guys.
That's more than a double standard but triple

But isn't that HIGHLY UNFAIR??
Anyway I blame nature - gave both of us same sex drive but gave only guys the freedom to indulge as you wish, as desirable opportunities arise!
And some u guys still complain about everything!
That's because women went behind nature to make men pay for everything

Business / Re: Mike Adenuga Net Worth Hits $7.4 Billion, Becomes Nigeria’s Second Richest by Niyi4321: 7:52am On Jan 12
Rostikol:

I'm talking about if you are worth 7 billion dollars, you should be looking to spend a minimum 3 billion dollars on public works.

Nigeria is a poor country of 230 million people with an annual budget of just 35 billion dollars.

I just don't see how I can in good conscience be worth 7 billion dollars in such a country and not be looking to spend AT LEAST 3 billion dollars on public works, but instead setting up some 'foundation' that might spend 50 to a 100 million dollars if that.

It's bullshiit. UnAfrican.

They learnt that selfishness from westerners.
You mean like giving back to the community kind of things
I think you need to wake up from your excessive slumber
What has become of those who did it?
There's no standard of behavior what keeps you at the top is what works for you.
There's no many paved ways in the country even to survive you need to blaze your own trail.
The extent of wealth you dream to acquire is judged by the size of your equipment

Family / Re: Does A Woman Earning More Than The Husband Affect The Marriage? by Niyi4321: 1:08am On Jan 03
It depends. Lady that suffers from insecurities or any form of anxieties or any form of shortcomings that is known to them always submissive.
Marriage as I always believe, talking about the few that works, is more of reasonable compromise than love.
Love comes auto if you think someone is doing that thing you can't for you and they're always around you.

The question about women having better financial muscle ought not to be a question, if not for western education it will be impossible. There's no way it can be possible in Nigeria particular if you reduce it to the ideas of Culture, tradition and religion.
The thing is if a problem is attached to education/science it's like talking about multiverse it keeps evolving without anybody telling you where it's coming or going.
You only know it keeps moving and changing with time
Family / Re: Why Ladies Refuse To Build With Guys !! by Niyi4321: 5:16pm On Jan 02
MrPresident1:
Ladies are not supposed to build anything with anybody. The are supposed to be married, brought into the house and pampered forever. The man is the provider and pamperer. The woman is the nurturer and keeper of the home
kiss
This notion of building together is a western idea, it has no place in African culture or in the Bible. But since we are living in western times, we have to conform until their time is over.

Husbands must seek to provide fully for their homes, this must be your overall goal, stop looking at your wife's money, she can lend some to you and you have to return it, this is how a man can be in charge of his home. When a man starts to see splitting of bills with his wife as obligatory then he will lose the right to her submission to him.
Your points are biased. We're no longer in the bible era. This is Social medias era and the amount of big phones and data couple with home responsibilities is killing men faster.
So forget the submission, infact you can be in charge but bring something to the table you must.
I can't kill myself

Religion / Re: What's The Essence Of Marriage?? by Niyi4321: 3:18pm On Dec 30, 2023
Men feels uneasy and desperate when they need s*x. Women blames their poverty/insecurities on the absence of an able manfriend.
In my humble opinion, marriage is more of a compromise than choice for both men and women.

I think some people misunderstood the idea of right and wrong. It's always about the WHO and to WHOM. If the person it's done against feel it's wrong then it's wrong even if it's right.
In this case it must be the KING himself volunteered to do that so that makes it right.
We don't need charlatans or fanatics here to tell us what's right or wrong in their biased perspective

UNDFTD:
Nigeria is NO MORE! All you see now is nothing but an illusion of a country that was. By next year, those who survived this year more than likely would become victims and things would be much harder than what you see now. Citizens would be killing each other just to survive and there would be NO reprieve. So, my advice to you is to gird your loin and be ready for what is about to happen to your dead and buried beloved Nigeria.
Mind your speech, man.
