What problem exactly, I got mine last year seamlessly. You may use the mobile banking app or visit them at the counter inside the bank then it will be sent to Canada embassy you will charged a certain amount, then you will receive your mbs which you will upload, it's just a small pdf file

I’m at the bank currently and they said it’s saying error.. since morning. The updated mobile app doesn’t come with the MBS anymore

Look, it can swing anyway. He doesn’t necessarily have to send you the money, he will just say he’s supporting you. Even if it’s a lump sum sent, it’s going to be backed up by a letter of support and gift deed and it’s your dad, hardly ever a problem if the lump sum is coming from him. Just weary of the money being paid from a company account. Vos don’t know how these things work, once it’s company they wonder why a company will sponsor you, they will have denied you before they realize it’s a family business.

I may be wrong and this is plainly my opinion, self sponsored applications are getting approvals more, sponsored application from parents or spouses come second. Anything company, I will advise you just get a consultant to handle it. Like
Ok so a gift deed doesn’t have to stay in the account for 4-6months to proof funds?

I duno but with the way I feel about visa applications now, if you can avoid many checks please avoid. Business can just be ties. Let your dad be your sponsor and he can transfer whatever amount he wishes from his personal account to you. It’s more straight forward and direct. Then your dad can show that he has a viable business and it’s for the family and you are directors. I duno really; don’t assume visa officer should know however the company funds should be used. Avoid probing if you can. My dad doesn’t have the kind of amount I should present to the VO in his personal account and him sending the money from his company’s account to his personal account will be lump sum. What if he sends the money to me as a gift deed, how long does it have to be in my account for me to present it?

If you have other options please take it. Sponsorship on its own is dicey for even family members at times from uncles or extended members not to talk of Company sponsorship.

Except there’s no other option, but if it’s a limited company, be sure there’s a board resolution sealed explaining disbursement of the funds.

It’s a family business, my dad is the MD and my mum, brother and myself are Directors. Does it make it hard still?

This is almost the same shit they gave as reason to RollyA. She is opting for JR now .
I don’t think all these people are checking documents submitted , where did they see company account when u don’t even submit any
is submitting proof of funds in a company account wrong? Cause I plan on using a company’s account as proof of funds.

How did you apply? Did you apply directly as a Nigerian or via an agent?

I applied through an agent, request they send authorize list of agents, then choose 1 from the list. The ones I chose sent me a list of documents I should provide which I did, now I’m gathering documents for my visa application.

If that is the only asset you can secure for yourself then use it, it's okay cus it will go along way in helping your application
I applied to Fanshawe college on Friday and by Sunday I’m getting a mail that I’m accepted. I find this suspicious, or is it possible?

Yea sure, it's allowed for your dad to will his property to you, atleast you will use it as one of your assets but I want you to know this that, for your dad to will his property to you, it doesn't add enough juice to your home ties, you need to secure more personal assets to add to the one your dad will give you.
I’m 24years old with a minimum salary, how am I going to acquire personal asset

When it comes to submitting Personal statement, it depends on your age, cus if you ve come of age, you should try attache your personal statement cus it counts too.
Normally this is wat some people doesn't know, if you ve come of age and your applying for Canada study visa, pls try submit your own personal statement, that is if your not a self sponsor.

It's not a must you will have hundreds of thousands in the account, Noo! But atleast have a reasonable amount of money in the account that is accountable bcus you can't just go and borrow money and use it to submit your account statement, you must show where the money came from.
Another thing again, when it comes to home ties and you ve come of age, try and acquire economic ties to call your own, the one registered in your name.
For example, someone above 28 or 30 and he or she is an applicant who doesn't own anything in their name, No investment, No house, No job, No buisness e.t.c to call their own and not even submitting your own personal statement account, trust me this doesn't speak well of you in the presence of VO and this will make them to arrive to a conclusion that your not a real student and the app may be denied base on Lack of Home ties or Personal Assets.

When it comes to writing Sop, carry our a research and go back back in this forum, you will see where someone made a post on the steps on how to write good Sop. Follow the steps and start writing it, once your done , look for any guru in the house to help you evaluate it or I can also assist you with it or help you write it afresh

Thank you for the reply when i have gotten my admission letter I’ll contact you for the SOP, so can i tell my dad to will a property to me or say “upon graduation i promise to give her a certain property” will that work?

Hello,
I have couple questions and hope to be answered. So i have applied for schools in Canada(haven’t gotten accepted yet) but I want to start prepping my documents with faith i get accepted to atleast one. So I stumbled on a video saying while applying we should have our personal statement aside that of our sponsor, Is that compulsory or necessary, if yes how much should be there and for how long? Also what if i finished school 2019, served(Nysc) 2020 and now 2021 i have no job would that affect my application or can i get a letter from a company but didn’t work there? And also been trying to wrap my head to write a perfect SOP but I don’t seem to even know what I’m writing. Please i need your assistance.Thank you
