The album is entirely produced by Tyler and features guest vocals from a range of artists, including Frank Ocean, ASAP Rocky, Anna of the North, Lil Wayne, Kali Uchis, Steve Lacy, Estelle, Jaden Smith and Rex Orange County.

The lead single of the record, "Who Dat Man"/"911," containing two songs: "Who Dat Man" and "911 / Mr. Lonely" was released on June 30th, 2017 as a dual solo.

The single peaked at number 87 on the US Billboard Hot 100.[30] July 11, 2017 saw the release of the album's second single, "Boredom" The third single from the album, "I Ain't Got Time!," was released on 19 July 2017. The fourth single of the album, "See You Again," was released to contemporary rhythmic and urban radio on 29 August 2017.

On May 22, 2017, Meek Mill released "Glow Up" as a promotional track, and the music video came out the next day. On July 13, 2017, Meek Mill released the "Issues," the music video was released the next day, and features cameo appearances by PnB Rock, Jim Jones, XXXTentacion, and Danny García.

On July 24, 2017, YouTube personality DJ Akademiks revealed that the clean version of "1942 Flows" features an extended second verse, which allegedly includes a subliminal dissolution targeting fellow rapper Drake.
