lol, those who has aquired some wealth will always accuse theose who are yet to do so of not seeing their unhappiness within, and the poor keep accusing the rich of standing as a hurdle to their success. Are we sensing any deception somewhere? cheesy

Enegod: Let's say Mr. X is unhappy with himself
but he has money. He goes out and buys
material things with it. These things
require Mr. X to expend energy to care
for them, keep them safe from being
stolen and worry if they are going to get
damaged. He also needs a place to keep
these things and in some cases even
needs insurance on them. He enjoys
using these things but the energy
required by these things outweighs the
pleasure he gets from them. He finds
that the more things he owns the less
energy he has for himself. He realizes
that none of these things have made him
any different. End result: Money has
bought him a bunch of energy draining
material things he has to worry about,
making his original unhappiness with
himself worse.
Still unhappy with himself, Mr. X goes out
and buys services with his money. For
example, cable tv, plane tickets,
amusement park tickets, catered meals,
etc. He uses all the services and has fun
doing it but at the end of the day he
realizes that he is still the same person
and these services have not changed his
life. End result: He has spent more
money but this time has nothing to show
for it.
Now Mr. X has realizes that buying these
material things and services has not
changed his life. He is still unhappy with
himself but now he's upset about all of
the money he spent. So he begins to
worry about how to get more money and
as a result becomes more unhappy.
Conclusion: Money has bought Mr. X
unhappiness.
-Money is the first step on the long road
to nowhere.

Firsly what makes m x unhappy? Is it health, marriage, work etc. Then I can knw if money can't solve it.

Health / Why We Need A Healthy & Active Lifestyle by nopecin(m): 9:39am On Aug 06, 2013
It is no secret that an active lifestyle and proper nutrition can help you lead a longer, healthier and more fulfilling life. A well-balanced diet of nutritious foods combined with regular physical activity can decrease your risk of developing certain chronic illnesses and can prevent many diseases.

Hypertension
Maintaining a healthy weight through proper diet and regular physical activity can help lower blood pressure. In a study of 83,882 women conducted by Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, it was found that women with a body mass index greater than 25 had a significantly higher instance of developing hypertension than those women with a body mass index lower than or equal to 25.

Heart Health
Exercise can strengthen the heart as well as other muscles of the body. A diet low in saturated fats also helps to lessen the likelihood of developing heart disorders and heart disease. To avoid heart failure and other heart conditions such as cardiovascular disease, refrain from smoking, participate in regular physical activity, and maintain a healthy body weight.

Diabetes
Diets high in fat and cholesterol take their toll on people at risk for diabetes. To lessen your chances of developing type 1 and type 2 diabetes, consume at least five servings of fruits and vegetables a day, eat fewer sweets, consume foods high in saturated fats and cholesterol in moderation, and participate in regular physical activity. Aerobic activity heightens sensitivity to insulin levels and helps to maintain a healthy body weight.

Osteoporosis
Weak, brittle bones can break and fracture more easily. Many exercises such as yoga and aerobics can help improve balance and coordination to prevent falls. MayoClinic.com states that in post-menopausal women, weight-bearing exercise can strengthen bone that becomes weaker at a staggering rate after menopause. If you have already developed osteoporosis, consult your physician to ensure that bone density requirements are met before beginning an exercise regimen.

Additional Benefits
Regular exercise not only prevents many health conditions and chronic illnesses, but also improves mood, helps to fight depression and can improve sleep. Consult your physician or other health care provider for tips and advice on beginning a beneficial, life-long journey to a healthier, active lifestyle
Politics / Mandela Threatened Over $660 Utilities Bill by nopecin(m): 9:06am On Aug 06, 2013
Authorities admitted on Monday they had mistakenly delivered a utilities bill to Nelson Mandela's upmarket home and threatened to cut the icon's water and electricity supply.

Johannesburg city council apologised for the "unfortunate incident" after the 6,500-rand ($660, 500-euro) bill arrived at the global peace hero's house in the suburb of Houghton over the weekend.

"The address and account number stated on the notice belong to another customer and property in a neighbouring suburb, not to the Mandela residence," said city spokesman Kgamanyane Maphologela.

The notice threatened "discontinuation or restriction of services" and legal action if the 30-day arrears were not paid, local media Eyewitness News reported.

With Mandela receiving treatment in a Pretoria hospital since June 8, the slip left the city council red-faced.

But it is not the first time an errant bill has embarrassed the city.

Last month a bill for over 3.5 million rand ($355,000, 270,000 euros) was erroneously sent to the African National Congress party headquarters.
