Hello. For those of us now in France, whats been the experience so far? Any areas we are having issues maybe someone here can provide the solution or how they went about it?

Just got response from the French embassy in Lagos after 6 weeks of applying. This is coming after several joint visits and appeals at the Lagos consulate by applicants for the past 2 weeks. But I am positive that of others (some applying since early June) will follow suit asap.

My Rule No 1 of applying for student visa in France : # Apply via the Abuja Embassy no matter what it takes. French Consulate is as 'bureaucratic' as the word itself and could take months to process.
