Guys I have an issue, went for my passport pickup today and d visa was issued on it but instead of f1 I was given b1/b2 visa class but on der system it shows f1 . I put a call tru to the consulate and dry asked me to return my passport tru the DHL. I hope I don't have to go thru any serious ish again

I noticed on d lady on dat same day. She wasn't smiling and dashing out blue paper like money. Don't be sad and try again

After crying I called the school and explained what I went through to them, they sent me a letter addressing the embassy that what I applied for and got admitted into is Professional communication studies and not speech communication and rhetoric as stated on the i20.They also explained that the CIP code that has been approved by indiana higher learning commission is what I have on my i20 but for Sevis purposes the major comes up as Speech and Communications Rhetoric.

I'm really heart broken

If dats d true issue cos it happened to my close friend.dont bother applying to US anymore cos u would still be denied plus discard that international passport and apply for another one. As far as America is concerned it's a no no for u

Not bad, it helps alot but I had mock interview with the school representative and it helped me kill the fear.

For me when I was asked if I took any test I told him I wasn't required to write any cos my waec result had good grades. But u must be sure the school doesn't require standardized test to get admission

I got an sms last night that my passport was ready for pickup. I have collected it this morning. they returned all my documents including my statement of account. they attached the 214b form. no other explanation. I don't even know how to approach this again cos I tried my best to make everything perfect the first time.

This is my transcript. I got interviewed by middle aged white guy(lagos embassy) 6.45am. Please do not let fear get the best part of you and always smile.

Me- my colleague at work who is also an alumni of the University told me about the school told me about great experience she had during her school day plus I made further research and discovered that they teach skills required for leadership position in today's business world.

Was so excited that I completely forgot the way out.

Thank God for a successful interview. With and prayer and proper preparation one would definitely succed. My interview was on 20th June and I got the white paper plus it's my first attempt
