Thank you all. I took the advice given by people. My BIL wrote the gift deed to my hubby ( since the money was sent to his account). Then hubby explained in a letter that he transfered to me because I don't have access to his account. Then he attached his statement of account showing inflow and outflow of money. Application was successfully submitted this morning. AOR received too. Wish us all the goodluck and success. Please someone should add me to May/June AOR group. 12 Likes 1 Share |

Thank you all. I have also read a lot of success stories with gift deeds that were not notarized. However, my concern is that the donor in my own case (my hubby) is also going with me. Please people/cases of people who got the gift deed from their accompanying spouses should also come in. I need all the last minutes tips from people who did same thing. |

Please house, I need all the help I can get. I have only from today till Tuesday to submit my EE application. My problem is with POF My hubby is an accompanying spouse. His family members sent the whole money to his account 2 days ago. He now sent the money to my own account same day and prepared a gift deed. A witness signed on it too but it was not notarized. Is this enough? Please I need success stories of people that did same thing. Reading the story of the brother that the VO requested for ADR is making me feel skeptical about my own application. Please if you know someone who can give me a good answer, kindly tag them. I have only today and tomorrow to finalize my decision. |

Hello house, I'm just confused right now. I want to submit my application so as to beat the increment of application fees by April 30th. However, the only thing that is a challenge now is how to get PCC. From my previous knowledge, I can only get this in Lagos. But right now, with this lockdown, I can't leave my state (Abia state). I'm confused, I'm totally clueless at this point. Please your advice and suggestions will be appreciated. |

Please I just need help. I have been on nairaland since last year but still do not understand how to make posts or follow a trend. The first time I tried posting I was banned, and that made me to only read without commenting. I received ITA on 4th March and I have been busy gathering documents and filling my application as well. Unfortunately, I still can't direct my question to the right part and it is affecting me already. Please someone should coach me. I need to follow this nairaland family with all my strength. @ladymarshal, I tried sending you a mail but was restricted. Please I need help. |

[quote author=ladymarshall post=86691187]Hello, you should be worried. Please don’t claim points for professional degree if WES evaluates it as Bachelors (if you know you won’t do IQAS later before your application decision is over). There is a reason why WES and other evaluating bodies are required by CIC. It’s to help the VO’s decision. VO would rather follow the evaluation of these bodies than your explanation in LOE for the purpose of objectivity. If you evaluated your law degree with WES, claim the points equivalent to your evaluation to avoid issues. I personally have not seen anyone who used WES for evaluation and claimed professional degree for crs points yet got PPR without updating the application with IQAS afterwards. My advice would be if you know you would submit your application after the end of May, claim points for professional degree, send your degree to IQAS for evaluation by May. Post-AOR after your IQAS evaluation is out, raise CSE and update your application with it. That was what @Romstar1 did and got PPR. Gaming maybe, but it worked. https://www.nairaland.com/5471101/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/194#84789156 NOC and degree evaluation are not related. [Hello beautiful family. I am so happy to be here. I have read alot here but couldn't get direct answer to the thing bordering me. I have Masters degree from MOUAU and hubby has Masters from UNN, if we evaluate our certicates using WES, are we going to get Masters degree equivalence? Please help me so I don't waste Mony evaluating undergraduate certificate. |
