Aside the Nnamdi Kanu saga, something else is becoming worrisome. From the facebook comment sections of all the major dailies{Vanguard, Dailypost, etc}, it appears mostly the Southeast is currently Atikulating. Is there no online PDP supporter from the North or Southwest? Why are they all apparently silent? Is there something they know that we don't?

I hope this is not true. The Nnamdi Kanu we knew will never have anything to do with zoo politics. If he does that, then PMB and APC are vindicated. Atiku will not only lose the North and Southwest massively as a result, he will also lose a chunk of votes from a good number of Southeasterners who will feel betrayed.

The faces of Wike and Secondus in that third picture with Atiku. It's glaring this is not the man they wanted. Hope they'll forge ahead with him for the party's sake.

Kwankwaso is yet to congratulate Atiku. Just like Saraki, Kwankwaso was carried away by the social media hype that greeted his declaration. I hope Atiku doesn't get carried away by current social media rants on this forum. Buhari (with incumbent APC) will be a very hard nut to crack. I also hope Kwankwaso will not pull another "OMISORE". Fingers crossed.

Well deserved victory for Atiku and the rest. The greatest looser from this outing will be Bukola Saraki. I hope he doesn't loose his self esteem after this. It might signal the end of his political career.

I'm just shocked the way fellow Southeasterners are falling over themselves to defend an ardent Fulani Muslim named Bukola Saraki. Afterwards, we'll be shouting "marginalization and islamization." What happened to our vision of Biafra all of a sudden?

We have had enough propaganda and lies this week, one doesn't know what to believe anymore.

3. Otedola became Lagos PDP candidate, suddenly PDP now woos Ambode.
4. House of Rep deputy speaker denies defection, warns media outlets.
5. Now, cane-welding youths about to force Ekiti election Tribunal to relocate to Abuja.
It is well.

Why a "press conference"? And why mentioning only politicians from one political party? How about Duke, Muoghalu, Sowore, etc? Everything should not be about politics.

I wish the Southeast will embrace APGA and use it to launch the zone into some form of political relevance. PDP has taken us for granted for so long.

Politics aside, can anyone please recall the projects INITIATED, STARTED AND COMPLETED in 16 years of PDP administration? Both parties are practically same. Same people cross-carpetting the political divide over and over again. They fool no one.

Despite online rants, the odds may no longer favor Saraki and he knows it. While he was in APC, he easily held sway over two-thirds of his colleagues and could even threaten to veto the president. With his defection, he has suddenly lost this bargaining power and found himself with the minority. Over the weekend, he saw his major ally, Dogara lose his constituency to APC, despite all the hype. He is smart and definitely knows the games but i strongly doubt if IBB, Obasanjo and co are in the positions to bail him out on this. That said, Oshiomole and APC should try and adopt a more refined approach in scoring their points. Hasty impeahment, even if legitimate, may not be the best option.

Saraki is about to provoke Atiku. I think this move is too early.

Dear Saraki, are you really a democrat? That man you are romancing with annulled June 12 election, an election globally acclaimed as the most credible ever conducted in this country. And you visited him straight from your "democratic" world press conference. What an anticlimax.

Have we wondered why there is no picture or evidence of APC senators meeting anywhere today? Maybe it was just propaganda afterall. I have a feeling Saraki and co are staying back in APC. Earlier last week, Baraje urged rAPC members to start defecting immediately with or without Saraki. PDP had also issued them a two-week ultimatum. Till this moment, nobody has defected. I have a feeling PDP may be worse off at the end of this charade.

More contradictions. Different local and foreign observers had all described the election as fairly peaceful and credible earlier on both AIT and Channels TV. Which group is Coalition of observers again? Still observing...

Pls folks, enough of the speculations. Just watch TVC News. Fayose is already protesting the election. Could be strategy though.

The Whitehouse may not listen to PDP on this. The average American governor will not disrespect the president and put hindrances in the way when the American president visits his state, irrespective of the political divide. It is unheard of. PDP should have cautioned Fayose ealier.

The picture has given Fayose away. You can not be wearing an arm sling and still be moving the same arm freely. Fayose is a poor dramatist. The international community must be laughing their head off by now.

Daily Post and other outlets carried the news since morning. From the news, Labour, Accord, PDM ,UPP and about twenty other political parties have come out to distance themselves from the CUPP alliance. They said PDP folks never consulted them before including their names in the pupported alliance. From the reports, some of them are already working on an APC-led alliance. Lets watch and see.

This could all be drama, poorly stage-managed. Both parties trying hard to whip up sentiments. Just watched Fayose on AIT few minutes ago at the PDP rally. Like the Dino saga few months ago, Fayose stepped out wearing a neck collar, an arm sling and holding unto clutches..... all from teargas! Believe politicians at your own peril.

If this is true, we should all tread carefully especially our politicians and security forces. Fayose also did not help matters by going all out, trying to sabotage and hinder APC rally yesterday. Remember PDP held their rallies in Jigawa, Osun and even in Buhari's home state Kastina and the governors of these states never tried to sabotage the rallies.

A few days ago, a lot of people here on Nairaland celebrated the killings of Fulanis and their cows by Taraba militias. Today, same set of people are shedding crocodile tears over the reprisals. While we all agree that the present government has failed drastically and woefully in stemming the tide of insecurity in the country today, the real TERRORISTS are our brothers and sisters who encourage and promote these killings to score cheap political points.

FFK is not thinking straight. Today, your party lost several key members including federal and state lawmakers to APC at the rally, and all you could recall was the error in Ngige's speech. Why does PDP want to loose Ekiti so cheaply? Clowns everywhere.

My question remains; How did the massive crowd on Channels tv get to the venue if Fayose actually grounded transportation and ordered sit-at-home? Something doesn't add up.
