Travel / Re: U.S. Non-immigrant Visas: We’re Listening Pt 2 by nugwa10: 9:48pm On Aug 14, 2018
@LagosNIV,

I submitted my Dropbox application since the 17th of July and only got aware that my application is under administrative processing on the 10th of August on CEAC and that this process could take several weeks.
I also found out today that Consular services have been suspended in Abuja where I submitted my application. My question is this: what is the process of retrieving my passport as I have been requested to submit my passport at another country’s embassy for a Visa but I have not been able to do so because my passport is with the US consulate and as it is now, I don’t even know where it is. A check on ustraveldocs tells me there is no status update for my passport.
Please, how can I retrieve my passport and how long will this process take?
Thanks

@ KUWENA.

Hi you don't know me, and i only know you from following your posts on nairaland and i read your last post with alot of alarm. You are scaring me, if what you wrote is true and if you actually mean all you said.

I cant pretend to know all you went through or how much you put into this NLNG thing, but my dear, i think you are doing yourself more harm than good. You started this thread and you kept alot of people's hopes alive, and so you feel God MUST reward you with a job at NLNG?. Did it ever occur to you that he is God and his will be done ultimately. are you trying to say that your faith in God is based on what you get from him? are you trying to say that you only served him cos of all the things he has done for you? Following this our God is no child's play and it's not easy.if you love God, it has to be UNCONDITIONAL, love him because he first loved you and because HE IS GOD period.

The fact that you are mad at him does not make him stop being God. Please dont give up now, because believe it or not, he loves you and will still continue to love you even when you feel he has let you down, but remember, his ways are not our ways.It's ok to be mad at God, you are only human, but please take it easy and check your motives for serving God in the first place.search your heart and find out if after you have been through alot and survived and then cos of NLNG, you feel your whole world has gone under, i think its sad.

What of all those people that came to nairaland because of you? i for one was very encouraged by you, i am also a catholic, and it is rare to find catholics who are so in touch with their faith and their God and still be loud and proud.You were an exception and an encouragement to me and a host of others,but now i wonder if it's not true that really, man is man, and God is God, because at the end of it all, it was about what he could do for you.This might be a test of you faith, for greater things to come, you never know!!! How do you know that the life you crave abroad will go according to all these your plans I just want you to please be careful in your ideologies and actions. Believe it or not, my heart goes out to you and I'M SORRY if i sound judgemental, that is not the intent at all.

Finally,remember Jesus is real, even if you don't believe it anymore and he loves you still irrespective of what you think or feel and whether you like it or not.Take care and God bless

Hi Nairalanders,its good to know that there is so much encouragement going around,same goes for the strong show of faith.There isnt much we can do at this stage except to totally believe and trust that he who has started this good thing in our lives will complete it.just be still and know that he is God.i pray that everyone who has trusted God for success will have a favourable testimony to tell.He has been good.Stay blessed. wink
