Crvrider: Posted this at the beginning of the week:
@aunt radu; @gazzuzz, the bolded, copied from a site, best describes my ordeal:
the misfire is only at idle, under no load, and disappears when i press the gas pedal. So to keep the engine alive, l need to constantly keep throttling. However, to prevent this my mech has had to raise the rpm
@the bolded has also been suggested as a probable cause: Or, the better approach, is to test the resistance on the injectors to make sure it's not an internal electrical failure
Also got a code reading from the bolded: Do you have other codes, especially for engine management sensors like MAP/MAF/TPS/EGR?
Below is the solution the site proffered: the most common issue on older cars is a vacuum leak (or dirty throttle body / idle air control valve). Best first step: clean the throttle body and IAC.
Your input is highly appreciated.
Its been confirmed that its an electrical issue, expecting to meet with a rewire tomorrow at oyingbo and he's billed me 18k. I feel its on the high side, anyone with a contact of someone who is good at this rewire thing should please drop his/her contact. Thanks cheap is usually more expensive long term. |

When i saw this at first, i believed it, then i sit down and calculate, then i realize it was pure lies and highly exaggerated.
Drivers use between 100 to 150liters of fuel weekly. So i will go for 150liters.
150x148=22200 (old rate) 150x160=24k (New rate)
So the extra fee a driver will spend for the fuel highest 1800. So he should be able to bear it, car owner is not Buhari.
Spare parts has increased more than 50% in prices, car price have skyrocketed.
What am i trying to say, if any driver comes up with fuel has increased, we are unable to meet up the rental, withdrawal ur car immediately.
Another thing drivers don't know, uber/bolt has tactically increased their fare, without making it public.
I use to book uber from ogudu to Corona school gbagada, sometimes twice a week for my sons training.
The fare use to be between 900 to 1100, but now is between 1100 to 1400.
You won't notice the fare increase, except u r the passenger. @ the tactically increased fare is very true. 4 Likes |

Actually the worse part of the road is from mile to till after lasu (igboelerin express side), from the onward is still manageable. IF YOU CAN PLEASE AVOID PASSING THROUGH MILE 2- IGBO ELERIN. (Egbeda to first gate and to igbo elerin is a good option). An incase u have to (take the normal mile2 - lasu road :lagos -badagry, on norms), make sure u dont have much load in your car and tires are good.!!!

AngryIgboDon: Its only in Nigeria that foools will engage in fraud and come online to discuss it.
Inferiority complex coupled with poverty syndrome has really eaten deep into the brain cranial vortex of most drivers on this thread.
Thats the reason why someone will drive around Lagos like a mad man without a mission a life, make peanuts while passing through hell on Lagos roads and then come online to flaunt the peanuts he made as if he is one commando. O Yes... What you are making is peanuts.
Don't flare up yet. Go to LinkedIn and see what small boys you are far older than are achieving with their lives. You will see a small boy of 20 years taking home 10 million per annum as a software developer with Qiuckteller or Paystack and will not come online to post his earnings. You will only know his earnings from company website and tax forms.
But a driver that earns less than 10 dollars daily as net on bolt will not let people hear word.
Same mentally rettarded drivers will come online to discuss how they are outsmarting bolt to beat "The Hours". Same thing the morrons think they just discovered is a format veterans in this racket have used as far back as 2016 to survive and earn more. Yet... None came online to discuss it. But just imagine what kids now come online to do.
If Bolt should wake up tomorrow and say that the hours will now be "during active trips" and no longer "idle online" hours, same nematodes will start screaming "Slave Master Slave Master Slave Master".
Intead of learning and taking corrections, the really Belligerent and Bellicose ones among them will soon open their stinking pugnacious bucal cavity and vituperate a plethora of disgusting vocal vermins.
This was same way Hushpuppi was engaging in fraud and had the effonterry to flaunt it online.
O Ye Black Man... When will thou have sense? I still don’t get how this is hard to understand.. don’t post earnings! Don’t discuss fraud here! How is it so difficult to understand why? Like how? Thank you Angryigboman, this is definitely easier to understand. |

Even if you dash the car to the driver, some will always be broke....a lot of people live beyond their means and can't manage money......few years ago when the business was really booming with bonuses etc ..a lot of drivers were making money left and right ... I caution them to put money aside for slow days, some listen and others didnt.. And some drivers were smart enough to get their own car....... ehailing is a good business if you are discpline and smart.. The point is to make your money fast and move on to something else.....
And to those that are still complaining about uber, most of you have your certificate, you can always dust it off and look for job you went to school for .. Enough with the complain, uber and co has provided jobs for so many youths old and young alike. This is something your government has failed you .. Take it up with the government.... Until than I encourage all of you to stop talking and complaining and to start doing.... Oga allow them to complain in peace. 2 Likes |

dapotemi: Drivers always get MAD when they see others posting or showing their dashboard. They always claim what they posted is their gross and not Net, yes we know that but to be honest, you guys made some of believe that is not the only reason . There is something you don't want others to know about this hussle, there is something you want to keep HIDING. If it's about GROSS and NET, it shouldn't be a big deal, if you know the net just do the calculation and give us the net whenever you see dashboard. Insulting people you don't know just because they post their dashboard is the height of it, if you don't like it, some of us love it, it motivate us, and we want to keep seeing it. Am sure a lot of people on this forum wants to see it too, it's a public forum abi. That govt is viewing this thread bla bla bla, that one na mumu talk, you guys here are less than one percent of total uber driver out there and you think govt will rely on info from less than one percent to take decision and form policy, that sound low. IF YOU WANT TO POST DASHBOARD,PLS POST, IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, WAKA PASS, IF YOU THINK THE FIGURE IS WRONG (GROSS), PLS GIVE US THE RIGHT (NET) FIGURE, NOBODY SHOULD BE INTIMIDATED. All of us no go always PASS THE SAME DIRECTION FOR THIS HUSSLE. Nobody be FOOL for here. Shei Na only government drivers de face abi? What about the miscreants way de rob drivers because drivers de cash out 150 k weekly. You wan de post earnings for public platform in a country like Nigeria? You go learn finally. If you de find motivation, join drivers whatsapp or telegram group, you go see enough.. Make we de apply sense sometimes.. No just de use the head drive alone. 18 Likes |

Spies 4 peanuts u r making, spies earn heavily, government won't invest money to follow this thread.
If they want to capture bolt/uber sales, they deploy hackers to attack the system.
Probably u want to discourage toomush from posting his earnings.
Romeo was posting over 150k weekly then.
I will be starting an award of 5k weekly, starting next months, post ur earnings for each week, if u earn the highest, i will transfer 5k.
I need minimum of 20 contestants to sign up.
Will be coming up with the terms and conditions once more than 20 people indicate interest. Yes Romeo posted 150k weekly and today Uber drivers are still being extorted left and right because they still think you cash out 150+ weekly.. if you like post if you like no post, at the end of the day lagos state go mandate you to buy uniform 20k because you should be able to afford it since you make 150 weekly.. selah 11 Likes 1 Share |
