Nice one. [Qquote author=TheSuperNerd post=64117453]30+ Hilariously Incorrect ‘Game of Thrones’ Quotes That Made Us Die From Laughter

Note: This is just for fun and a funny piece I found and thought to share. wink If you are a good G.O.T fan or follower, you will get the gist and the drill cheesy. Oya Let's go.....

Warning, moderate spoilers ahead. Ok, now that we've got that out of our way, it's time to celebrate the coming of winter with some Game Of Thrones. After the finale of the season 7 became history, I turned towards fan fiction to fill the void it has left.
Turns out, one Instagram account is dedicated to pairing viral tweets, tumblr posts, and random bits of sitcom dialogues with stills from Game Of Thrones, and the result often comes out way funnier than the original scenes. Assuming you're caught up with the show and know what the heck is going on in Westeros, of course.

From Jon Snow trying to UnCloth Daenerys to Jaime bonding with Brienne, these modified exchanges retain the relationships between characters while spicing things up with brilliant bits of comedy. Scroll down to recap Game Of Thrones in one of the most humorous ways possible

Sports / My FIFA World Cup Reminiscences by obax321(m): 2:13pm On Dec 30, 2017

My FIFA World Cup Reminiscences

Mexico ’86 was the first FIFA World Cup I saw on Television. I remember watching some of the matches on my Dad’s newly-bought black and white 14″ Television made by President. It was a glorious thing. A certain Diego Armando Maradona dazzled the World of football with his mercurial skills and deft touches. The Mundial has never seen anything like it.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup which is the 21st edition starts in 166 days at the Luzhniki Stadium in the Russian city of Moscow. Eleven cities and twelve venues have been designated to host the biggest sporting event in the World. I look forward to the Russians putting together a great event that will linger in our memories for long.

The FIFA World Cup is coming back to Europe for the first time since Germany hosted it in 2006. Fourteen European teams, Five African teams, Five Asian teams, Five South American teams, and three teams from North America will be competing for the diadem. Surprisingly, Italy, Holland, and USA will all be missing in action. Italy will not be at the tournament for the first time since 1958!

The first FIFA World held in 1930 in Uruguay was an invitational tournament of only thirteen teams invited by FIFA then led by the Brazzilian Jules Rimet. It was won by the home team Uruguay who defeated Argentina by 4-2. No team outside Europe or South America have won the tournament till date. Will Russia 2018 break the cycle?

The FIFA World Cup is the greatest of all sporting events. I’ve seen great matches at the World Cup. I’ve seen great coaches. I’ve seen great teams. I’ve seen great players. I’ve seen great goalkeepers. Starting from this week, check on this page for weekly articles about the FIFA World Cup till the commencement of the tournament on the 14th June, 2018. And during the tournament proper, expect to read from me daily.

I wish you happy 2018.

So we have Igbo carpenters, too??! Amazing! shocked Going by what their brothers reel out on NL, you would have thought every Igbo man was a big-time businessman with thousands of shops in Lagos, or a spare parts dealer raking in millions, while guys from other ethnic groups wallowed in poverty and laziness! I salute these Igbo carpenters. May no harm befall them, in Jesus name! cheesy Can I get an Amen from somebody?

It doesn't work that way! Ghana redominated their currency sometimes ago. Equivalent of N100K in Ghana is worth N79K in Nigeria. I was in Ghana for like a month early this year. So I know. Nigeria's money is stronger than Cedis.

1. Appoint a Chief Priest for the Country: Interested applicants will be asked to come forward and demonstrate their suitability to head this newly created National office. The major job of the occupier is to administer oath of office on elected and also appointed representatives of the people. And some other duties to be determined by the C-in-C. Oath taking will take a new dimension under my government. Taking an oath of office may take days depending on the sensitivity of the office to be held. Use your office for personal gain and face immediate consequence. Now proper governance starts!

2. “Six Wives and thirty Concubines” : Once elected and sworn in, I’ll propose to the National Assembly to pass a law that the President of Nigeria must have a woman from every state of the Federation. Six “wives” from each of the six geo-political zones and thirty “concubines” from the remaining thirty states. They will all surely have the “other room” in Aso Rock. And they will be very vital in unifying the country. No states left behind!

3. Bring down the grid: I’ll propose that the entire Power infrastructure in the country be pulled down! Let’s start from the scratch. What we have now and the output is akin to have nothing. Nigerians will survive on generating sets pending the time we put up a World Class infrastructures. We can do better if we put the right policies in place and get the right companies to come and fix this thing for us. It can be done.

4. Tithe: Instead of tax, every taxable adult will begin to pay tithe. Tithe is better than tax! Give the country 10% of whatever you earn and let there be food in our storehouses! People understand tithe well as it is straightforward but tax is cumbersome. Abolish tax and bring on tithe and the country will be better for it.

5. Make bachelors degree two years: Four or five years degree programme is a waste of time. Four years (8 semesters) can be conveniently done in two years ( 4 semesters) if so many unuseful courses can be thrown out or merged together. A World Class National skills centers is to be set up for graduates to gain hands-on experience and also for Entrepreneurial studies. They will attend this for a year. More on this later as my government make progress.

6. Abolish Private Primary and Secondary Schools: Individuals and organisations will not be allowed to run primary and secondary schools again! They can do Kindergarten (Nursery) or University. Primary and Secondary education will be exclusively for the three tiers of government. Things will be put in place and we will do the unimaginable. Just leave it for us!

7. Every girl aged thirteen to fifteen must attend a federal certified catering institute. And this will be a criteria to enter higher colleges or access government services. A happy home will be one of our top priorities. And good food is a sure criteria to achieving this.

8. I will declare a National emergency to get rid of rats, bedbugs, mosquitoes and cockroaches: There is no country that can rise with a lot of those things in circulation. Their presence in abundance anywhere signify nothing but poverty. Get rid of them and the rate of diseases and infections in the country will drop drastically. National productivity will increase. Instead of spending multi billions to procure malaria drugs, we will spend a fraction of that to wage a war against mosquitoes and others and the country will be better for it. Get rid of those things and there will be less people in our hospitals.

9. National Chicken Policy: After attending catering institutes at thirteen, every female citizen of Nigeria aged eighteen and above will have access to at least two day-old chicks every three months. There will be support from the government on how to raise those things. No nation can grow without excess chicken!
