Hehehe.

Other African countries now see Nigeria as a place to get cheaper food because our currency is very weak. They come and buy food in large quantities back to their countries.

The farmers on the other hand believe they will get a better bargain from foreigners. They said these foreigners don't price too much, and in most cases they don't even inspect the bags as Nigerians do.

This would have been a blessing to Nigeria if the government did their home work well.

Had it been that farmers were secured enough, they would have cultivated more and gotten enough harvest, and we would have been supplying food to other countries.

No matter how we want to see it, insecurity lead us to where we are today. These farmers have been complaining. They pay in millions to bandits during planting and harvest. They must add all those money they paid to these bandits, they can't sell at lost.

It's easy to accuse farmers of sabotage, but remember they also business men.

As we speak, nothing has been done about insecurity in Nigeria. Farmers are still paying heavily to bandits and we expect a different result next time.

If the remote cause is not urgently addressed
This year challenges will look like a child's play next year. All these propaganda won't be able to help next year.

North and hypocrisy. You engage in agricultural projects with the country's finances, then out of sentiments send it to Niger Republic that they are more next of kin than Southern Nigerian, yet you all wanted to die for same religion ticket. The hypocrisy in the north stinks to hell. Since you hate the southerners so badly, please call for referendum so you can go attach to your Niger Republic in peace
What do you expect when your own currency is getting weaker by the day. Anybody who knows a little bit of economics would tell you that devaluation of a currency makes it more profitable to sell locally produced goods and services to foreigners. Simple!
Nigerians would prefer to sell our local products to America and Europe and Asia in order to get more dollars. Unfortunately, we do not have the local products which these countries would desire(apart from crude oil).
So the only option is for small countries like Niger Republic, Chad, etc to mop up our agricultural produce, leading to more hunger in Nigeria.
May God help us oooo!

Well, in abroad like Canada and USA, you’re expected to start repaying your loan, with interest 6 months after graduation. Since we like citing abroad when making reference to what is happening in Nigeria, the government has decided to make Nigerians live like those countries.
As dem dey get work abroad after graduation, naso Dem dey get work for Nigeria? Where you want make them get the money pay within 2 years?

Exactly my point!
The local producers of rice and cement have been over-pampered. Hence, they are taking advantage of the consumers.

Nigeria is not running common economics but Cabal economics, everything here is determined by the cabals in control and not any simple common economics

Dangote enjoys tax relief from the government. Limestone and other materials used for production is sourced locally and not imported. Cost of production alone is not enough for him to triple the price of his cement. It's funny how everyone blames farmers for hoarding grains and inflating prices for commodities but yet no one is talking about people like Dangote for doing same
Politics / Re: FG Summons Dangote, BUA Over Rising Cost Of Cement by obesse: 4:11pm On Feb 17
Open Seme Border. Let foreign rice enter. Let foreign cement come in. I bet you, the price of cement will reduce to 3,500 per bag, and a bag of rice will reduce to 30,000.
Within 3 months we will see results.
Big businesses that are being protected by the Government will continue to take advantage of the masses, unless you create a level playing field.
It is such a shame!

shockingly most school fees of federal universities is still not up to $100.
What is shocking about it? How much did you pay per session if you attended a Nigerian Federal University?
I paid 38 Naira per session as tuition fee in a federal university. A Hostel accommodation was 70 Naira per session.
Many of my mates who are currently holding public offices paid similar amounts. Some of the public office holders enjoyed Scholarship to study abroad; everything paid for by the federal government! Most of the public office holders enjoyed highly subsidized tertiary education.
So, why should current undergraduates be treated differently. Is good education no longer a right of the bonafide citizen?

I agree.

NOTE:
Constant repentance is critical in our Christian journey and it is important we know this and act accordingly.

Repentance is an act of humility before God, a way of depending on him to make us perfect as he is perfect Matt 5v48.

One common trick, the accuser of the brethren often uses against God's children is making us think immediate and constant repentance isn't important.

Well, it is and you must learn to adopt a lifestyle of repentance no matter how "LITTLE" your sin was. Remember pride, unforgiveness, anger leading to offence amongst others are all wins.

Let us repent right now of those sins we might have committed knowingly and unknowingly, good thing you are not in the church auditorium where you are asked to come to the front so please despise your pride and shame and do this with all your heart.

Say the Prayer:
Father I acknowledge I have sinned, I confess all my sins, Be faithful and just to forgive in accordance with your word in Jesus name. Amen.
