good mrnin, with my experience yesterday at the embassy,
i edited my form due to a mistake and i was denied an interview, my wife and children were allowed in but also denied. this is due to my status and data with d embassy, as i was once at d embassy with and EX.
my wife and 1st daughter traveled last year, so they have a travel experience.
it's however their 2nd time of bin denied.
now i still have my own visa fee valid and was told to reschedule an appointment.
shld i i just buy another visa fee for wife and children and we go in togeda?
becos she has bin the only 1 going in with the children.
this is becos there is nothing i'll be going to do without my family,it's supposed to be a holiday.
i intend to apply in dec.
please what's this forum's advice.

Hello house, my interview is on Thursday and I want to update some information on my already submitted application.

My wife wanted us to stay at Hilton NYC so I used Hilton hotel address while filling the visa application but last week I discovered cheaper hotels in New York which I have already paid. Now I want to remove Hilton Hotel from my already submitted visa application and don't know how to do it. I have logged into my account but these are the only options available:

1. VIEW CONFIRMATION PAGE
2. CREATE A NEW APPLICATION

Someone should please guide me on how to see my already submitted form so I can change hotel address, thanks very much yall

from trends that i have read, VO dont ask more than what you do and where you are going in the US. how come pple still get denied,even when you have good ties and evidence.

i was able to make the correction and was send a new confirmation,carrying my new application id,alongside a call to the embassy.
the correction was my hotel,i wrongly filled a different hotel from wife and children's. i have corrected it all now anyway.

Interview date is already too close for such from what can be seen on the embassy's home page or so....

My suggestion is that you should first try updating your profile by yourself first, then send new appointment confirmation to yourself and see if it carries the new number. If it does, I think that normally signals you are good to go (can't remember what I read about this situation again here sha). This isn't a rock solid advice from me as before please

Call them too to see if your profile update at your end can be concretized at their end too. You barely have any time left to do all these. Whew!

as long as u inform the embassy via call or email, i think you are good to go.

You should not change your DS160 number/code 48 hours before interview because the new number will not reflect on U.S Embassy list (CGI) for interview on that day... every changes must be before 48hrs to your interview.[/quote]
