Where was the federal government when Fashola was fixing federal roads and making major infrastructural development strides in Lagos? So the federal government has exclusive rights of control over the brains of the Biafrans? Oh so the federal government has the exclusive rights over your ability to mobilize the youths to sanitize the states, curb crime at the community level, build community infrastructure and come up with innovative ideas to move Biafra forward...I laugh grin grin grin !

The Biafrans and the Nizoorians are no different...they have one central trait in common handed down from their forefathers which is: THE DEIFICATION OF SELF INTEREST

You still have not answered my question!

Is there any Igbo man on this planet that will not betray the entire human race for $1 million

Guy do you know where the word capitalism came from? Self interest is a universal trait, systems are created to check it's excesses.

The Yoruba nation's borders were determined through wars and annexation by Oyo Alaafin in the same way that many European borders are the result of wars among ethnic groups.
Britons defend their royalty institution even though the royal family is German.
In short, rather than lament, whine and complain it is better to gird our loins and set to work in building ourselves to be strong just as China, India, Singapore etc are doing currently. We can't do that by simply eating, feasting and fcvking our ways and waiting for God to help us out when He did not come down to help the oyinbos. Or did He

You missed the point, the guy I quoted talked about Nigeria borders and his love for defending it.
The Yoruba border was not the subject of my write up but the artificial border which define most African countries. Your fellow human being sat down at the Berlin conference hased a plan against our collect ancestors, killed them, destroyed their civilization and created countries that does not represent their wishes for their posterity and some of us are proud to defend such calamity.

The royal family can be German at least they are Caucasians ruling Caucasians

Honestly I have read a few post here by people who seem to get the greater picture. One thing and only one thing is wrong with the black race " MENTAL SLAVERY". Very few people know this, as a matter of fact I just realized it myself. Every other human trait listed here can be found in other human race.

The black man is physically free but mentally destroyed.

Look into my posts for Anti - Kanu posts and bring it here.

Your country border as defined by whom? Your Ancestors who were murdered by Britain or queen Elizabeth through his solider of Fortune Lord luggard?

The fact that blakc people defend institutions created out of the subjugation and murder of their ancestors is beyond comprehension.

The op is not helping matters. We all need one another and no single nation can be an island onto itself especially a fabled Biafra that would be encircled by Nigeria because it has no direct access to the sea.
There are northerners in Igboland who are contributing to the peace and prosperity of Igboland and vice versa for the northerners.
Let there be peace in our nation.long live Nigeria.

My write up has nothing to do with Biafra but everything to do with the viability of Igboland especially in the British Business center they find themselves.
Politics / Northern Ultimatum: Ndigbo Shouldn't Act Surprised by Observant: 6:18pm On Jun 07, 2017
I am overjoyed by the recent ultimatum issue recently issued to the Igbos and Igboid groups in the north parts of the country.

As a full-blooded Igbo man who has paid attention and taken his time to study the dynamics of this country it pains me to see my people lack vision, disregard to history, the myopic and ill-informed decision made individually by our people which has resulted to such threats resurfacing in 2017.

With all our supposedly individual wealth, we have refused to create wealth for our own people in our lands. I understand the quest to explore other lands but what i do not understand is why we ignorantly but immensely contribute to the development of other peoples (our supposed enemies) lands to the detriment of our own people and threat to your life whilst you shout marginalization and view your host with disdain.

What we do not understand is that every Kobo we spend in the North or West denies another easterner a means of livelihood whilst it improves the employment and economy of the community where it is spent. For instance, an Igbo child in a private school in Kwara or Kaduna state whose parents pay tuition and boarding fees is indirectly employing and improving the economy of the communities of the host institution.
This is a circle that has continued for a very long time in all sphere of human endeavor as it pertain to Ndigbo thus Ndigbo are indirectly contributing to under developing Alaigbo and ensuring that more youths leave to other lands in search of greener pasture too.

So why have Ndigbo refused to adopt the approach of other tribes "TAKE ALL YOU CAN BUT GIVE NOTHING BACK"?
Northern don't own properties, establishments and empires in the any other part of the country same with the Westerners so i ask why us? Why Ndigbo?
Well your properties are being threatened once more in the North and the west whom always consider cowardly (Another very stupid, annoying and provocative assumption by my people) are keenly watching and waiting.

Someone once said that "The three million Igbos killed during the progrom and the civil war was apparently not enough to make us reason, maybe about 24 million will be killed before some sense can return to our fold"....Somebody 2015.

mars123:
Very silly question to ask. You lack understanding of the idea of nationhood. The correct question to ask is what has Nigeria benefited from you? and when you ask this particular question you find answers as to why Nigeria is a ''zoo'' as you people call it these days.

You lots expect Nigeria to give you a lot of love, care, respect? With all your animalistic tendencies? If most of you travel abroad and don't up your human behaviour na deportation straight. So stop playing victim with senseless questions. Nigeria is just the victim of having so much low mental class citizens.

Maybe you have forgotten but you were once a child, childhood to adolesence is the period you benefit from your country thus helping to mold how much you can do for your country.

For instance, Nigeria benefitted from me when I went to school and paid tuition but I didn't benefit from Nigeria when I graduated from it's poor tertiary education incapable to secure a job, compete with the rest of the world, secure a loan to start a business, nor a loan/scholarship to forward my academic pursuit.

A key example is a friend who recent graduated from Harvard law. He made a first class here is Nigeria and was the best graduating student of his class. He wrote all federal and state prastatal for loan and scholarship after he got admitted to Harvard but received " Thank you for making us proud, we will get back to you".
Safe for family, friends and Harvard University who have him 50% scholarship on his tuition, his dream would not have been achieved.

People can avoid the the truth as much as they can but if Nigeria does not invest in the citizens at infancy by providing basic amenities they can benefit from, Nigeria should not expect an adult willing nor posses the capacity to be benefitted from.

Maclatunji is right on this. it's not the system per say, it's the people and that's the truth.

We have practiced this federal system you guys are clamoring for?... why do you think the first coup happenned?, even with a weak centre. Nothing will change if the basic orientation of the people do not change, whatever the system. Nigeria needs meritocracy instead of primodial religious bigotry and nepotism.

For example, Look at Ibori and Alamesigha. With the billions they got from the federal allocations plus 13% derivatives did they turn Delta and Bayelsa states too dubai you can imagine now giving the same rougues full control of the resources..what do you think will happen?
Imagine if them corrupt Ibori are the one's incharge of the whole oil wealth.... it's just crazy...and this goes to all the states and their respective governors. While I agree that some functions could be devolved, Nigeria urgently needs an electoral reform that would make sure people's votes actually count and that elected officials can be held to account and that will be the beginning to better accountablility in our system. We have a long way to go.

Whatever behaviour exhibited by Nigerians can be found everywhere in the world.
System both political and social keep these human attributes in check.

Nigerians are no where near the greed of the Europeans but its kept in check by their existing systems and nothing else

There is no lie anywhere, Nigeria has never given this issue the needed attention at any time.

What Ironsi and other Generals did was not restructuring but putting system in place to consolidate their hold on power. Nobody asked Ironsi to abolish regional system, he did it for his personal interest.

We now operate a fraudulent constitution that was imposed on us by Abdulsallam and his friends without any space for REFERENDUM, neither were Nigerians involved at any stage in the draft of the system we presently practice. Where lies the Power of the people? Why should Nigeria be structured in a way that leaders at state level still look up to Abuja? Which society is that done? No wonder Abuja determines who becomes who become what at state level.

Its been along time since i wrote anything here.

My Journey to US and settling down was extremely difficult, stressful and wasteful.

Firstly my travelling box got ripped open at the airport, (probably Naija airport na), So i stayed back to file for luggage claim at boston Logan. As JJC wey i be, they asked my the price of the bag and i told them that i didn't know, that i just got it from my older sibling and that i was more worried that somethings would have fallen out of the bag. I was also in a hurry to catch my bus from Boston to NH.
The claims guy told me to just say a figure for the bag and the JJC in me said " just write 50 bucks", a statement i would come to regret in a couple of days when i got an email from the airline on how i wished to receive my $50 for the bag. Na then i know say i don Bleep up....

Well i missed my 4;30 bus to NH, i had to wait for 6:00 bus. I finally got to NH buy 9:30pm, (Imagine coming into a city you no know one by 9:30Pm), I requested for uber to take me to the hotel i reserved, the bus had wifi which i was using, but it drove off so i lost connection before my uber arrived
I hitched a ride with one indian guy i saw at the bus station who also requested an uber that just arrived (note: the bus station was closed and empty, i was the only person standing there at 9pm before i saw the indian guy). The uber dropped the guy and dropped me at my hotel too. i paid him $10.

At the Hotel, another drama ensued, it turned out that the reservation my brother made, his Credit card was never debited, your only used his information to hold the reservation so i was asked to present the card for swiping which i didn't have, The hotel had a policy of not taking cash too so i couldn't book a room. I was in America by 10pm-11pm, stranded with no where to go.

I asked to use their internet, i transferred some funds from my diamondbank account to my gtbank and stanbic ibtc so i could try if any of my Nigerian card would work, well luckily my gtbank card worked so i booked for one night at the rate $76.2 against the $56 rate i got for making a reservation two weeks prior my arrival.

The night went by very fast, i came down in the morning, used google maps to locate the nearest burger king (God bless Google) and had their $6.99 double whooper burger not knowing that my hotel booking came with free breakfast.
According to there policy, checkout was 11am, so i had to extend my payment for another day, i tried paying again with gtbank but it declined, i called my contact at the bank and they told me the spending limit was $100 Monthly. I moved some money to stanbic and card worked so i booked for two more days.

I immediately left for school (With Uber,), I was able to do my registration, opened a bank account, deposited some cash and got a temporary atm. I also started hurting for a house, o boy, little did i know house hunting was another nightmare in the making.

After three days i needed to extend my stay at the hotel again, i presented my ATM from the new bank account but it was rejected again. They said it was temporary and didn't have my name on it. I was already frustrated at the rigidity of this hotel policies, luckily a lady who also worked there told me that i can actually do a prepaid booking through expedia.com, (really, I could do that? how come you people haven't told me this all this while?), she also told me about the inclusive morning breakfast. when i learnt about the breakfast, i made sure i came to the dinning by 6am and left by 9:30am, i ate everything they had to serve and took more upstairs to my room for lunch and dinner.

Long story short i ended up staying in a hotel paying approximately $80 per night, and $87 on weekend for 10 days and i did Airbnb for two night at the rate of $45 per night.

Even the Nigerians i met who could have harbored me till i found my place all told me stories.
Two guys, Nigerian too, who i am grateful to, harbored me for a few days after i told him i already got a place but needed a few days to my move-in date.

Well so far so good, we done come be say we done come o.
You might learn a thing or two from my story and Journey in search of Happiness.

The Country Fine Sha, The question that resound in my head now is, WHAT WERE WE DOING IN AFRICA WHEN THESE PEOPLE WERE BUILDING THIS MASSIVE CIVILIZATION? OMO this people have the right to the arrogant abeg, make we talk the one wey be truth.
You don't expect respect because you a human being, you earn respect for your achievements, and what exactly has black Africa contributed to the world? but we want respect and recognition. The whole situation is depressing.

Nigerian banks are bastards.
I requested for PTA through Stanbicibtc when dollars was about 350 at the black market hoping to get it at CBN rate of 305.
But to my greatest surprise, after one month and two weeks of request, the useless bank called me to say that they can give me 2000 dollars at 398.7 naira. By then black market had gotten to 470. These banks are very useless and inimical to Nigeria.

President Muhammadu Buhari says the Treasury Single Account policy has started yielding results.
He said this while reacting to questions at a meeting with members of the Nigerian Community in Saudi Arabia at the Nigerian House in Riyadh on Tuesday evening.

He announced that his administration had introduced a number of policies and programmes aimed at saving the nation’s economy from collapse.

Buhari cited the TSA and the Zero-based Budget as some of the meaningful financial policies that was checking fraud in the system, saying it had started yielding fruitful results.

According to him, “the nation has so far realised over N2.6 trillion” from the newly introduced TSA.

He, therefore, expressed optimism that with the introduction of the single account, the 2016 budget implementation might not record any form of deficit at the end of the financial year.

People can also come to your region in search of greener pastures, that is when you let them do the work and earn a certain percentage just like Dubai is doing to non-indigenes.
