Webmasters / Google Interview Quests Shared By D Computer Engr Afta Gettng Rejecte by ogatechy: 5:34pm On Dec 07, 2016
A computer engineer has written a blog post detailing all the questions Google asked him in an interview. The questions asked during the interview will surely impress you.

10 Google Interview Questions Shared By The Computer Engineer After Getting Rejected
Who doesn’t want to work for Google? Of course! everyone. However, getting the job from Google is not easy. You have to go through the tough interview process, and guess what? cracking Google’s interview process isn’t an easy task.

Pierre Gauthier, a computer engineer who started to code 37 years ago and managed to set up his own company 18 years ago. Pierre Gauthier applied for a director of engineering post at Google. However, he failed to crack the interview.

After failing to deliver the “right answers” to the Google recruiter. Pierre Gauthier decided to create a Gwan.comblog post to share all the challenging questions along with his answers and his views regarding the whole process.
Peter Gauthier was asked 10 question in the interview by Google recruiter. Peter Gauthier just managed to answer the first four questions correctly, it was all downhill from there. The fifth question he answered was the first one he got wrong and here is the whole conversation of the fifth question
Google Interview Questions Shared By The Computer Engineer After Getting Rejected
While answering the questions, he soon found himself arguing his answers with the recruiter, and by the ninth question, he frustratedly asked: “What’s the point of this test?”. Well, here are the 10 Google interview questions asked by the recruiter:

<center>
1.What is the opposite function of malloc() in C?
2.What Unix function lets a socket receive connections?
3.How many bytes are necessary to store a MAC address?
4.Sort the time taken by: CPU register read, disk seek, context switch, system memory read.
5.What is a Linux inode?
6.What Linux function takes a path and returns an inode?
7.What is the name of the KILL signal?
8.Why Quicksort is the best sorting method?
9.There’s an array of 10,000 16-bit values, how do you count the bits most efficiently?
10.What is the type of the packets exchanged to establish a TCP connection?</center>

He cracked a joke at the end of his blog post at Gwan.com “My score is four on ten, that’s better than my best Google Pagerank** ever!”. You can find out the full details and the answers given by Peter Gauthier in <a href="http://Gwan.com">Gwan.com</a>

Sign This Petition & Say No to Increase in Data Price by NCC
Good Day ladies and gentlemen, I must be sincere with you that I don’t like the recent development by the so called directives given by NCC to increase data ratebeginning from 1stof Dec, 2016. We as Nigerians must unite together, let’s air our voice out.
The country is already languishing in a state ofQuandary, and now NCC want to add salt to the injury. You all know that it is the poor that will suffer it the more; or is it a crime to be using a smartphone that can access internet? So I want us to unite together as a team, family, Nigerians with one voice… Say No to data increase in Nigeria.
Someone has already created a petition on Change.org and I need you all who use data, and you violently don’t want it to increase in price, to sign this petition. Share it on every social media let every body know.
Go to https://www.change.org/p/nigeria-communication-commission-ncc-data-plans-rates-by-carriers-in-nigeria-should-not-be-increased-by-ncc?recruiter=642402116&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=copylink
Sign the petition. Let our voice count, spread the news let NCC know and hear the cry of the masses. Increasing data prices is not wisdom, but something close to foolishness.
If I may also ask, what exactly is the function of NCC

Phones / Re: NCC Mandates All Telcos To Increase Data Price Effective From Dec 1st by ogatechy: 5:46pm On Nov 26, 2016
asuustrike2009:

Post the full story here.
In such a time like this, this news is not good enough for now because the nation is already experiencing recession, implementing this directive will only make life harder for Nigerians.NCChas mandated all GSMCompanies to raise data rates beginning from December 1st2016.
This is sad,NCCbelieves that this is one of the ways they can generate revenues for the Government. They know that we can’t do without buying data… so they decided to mandate all Telcos to increase their data price… hmm!
Nigerian Government through its agencies should not make life harder for Nigerians! Don’t be surprise that beginning fromDecember 1st2016,N1000will only get you500MBof data. The data you normally get 3GB for N1000 before will be history.
Inshort, allMtNusers should call 181 self-help service number to listen to this announcement which will take effect from 1stof December.
