I was hoping someone else would give any useful information about QC,Montreal. Is any Nairalander in this city? Its crazy here, the other day I went out looking for a barber shop and I ended up in a black owned barber shop only to be cut by a philipino dude who made a complete mess of my hair leaving it looking like patched out rat.I'm going to see Femi Kuti at the jazz fest @ the end of the month anyone's interested?

Brossard precisely and I'm aware the region is predominantly french, it just feels weird landing in a place you have to struggle to even say "can I have a , " and you get confused with the road signs et al.Anyway I was just looking to see if I'd find someone who'll give me a few tips as how to bounce,job hook ups etc.I'm actually starting my life from the scratch I've worked my bum most of the time and missed out on education so it's a tough journey, I just so dread making costly mistakes at this stage as I'm on the 30yr border and every milli second counts for me now.
No I didn't jam my wife by proxy and we don't have to stay in Quebec.She's lived here all her life so it's her home, of course we intend to relocate but I need to take advantage of a few benefits here which from what I heard are not so available in other provinces.From what I gather you must have worked for some govt/immigration agency or CIC wetin wetin 2 have accrued so much knowledge about this place.Anyhow thanks a bunch for the hand, and thanks to you to Kaysie83 you guys are geniuses.E never finish oh.

@ House. Is there anyone familiar with Quebec terrain.I have just arrived here to join my wife and child and as much as I can say I like the big roads and the place I do not speak any French. Is there anyone with advices? I would greatly appreciate it. I'm happy to respect your privacy and boundaries, I just need hints on how to go about things here.My wife is full Quebecoise but speaks excellent English.I need advice on where to step and not step and also find naija food.
