People should understand concepts before commenting. Konga's case has nothing to do with PMB or GEJ. It simply changed its model from being an 'e-tailer' to a 'market place'. The two models require different number and level of staffing.

In simple term, if I built a very big warehouse and stock it with different goods which I purchased from other suppliers for onward selling online to my own customers online (e-tailer), I will surely need higher numbers and level of staff than if I set up a small technology based company that just link those suppliers online directly to my customers. I will just serve as a clearing house - my customers will still have the impression that they are dealing with me, but they will be served by the suppliers. I may of course, maintain a very small warehouse to stock fast moving goods but the bulk of my business will just be paperwork required for co-ordination.

The charging of delivery fee for each item you purchased at the same time which you complained about is because of change in business model that I explained above. You were actually served by different suppliers from different locations while konga just coordinated. Konga neither handled nor saw those goods. It would just make payments to those suppliers when there is evidence of delivery to you unlike before when the goods would be delivered to konga and konga consolidate and package them for delivery to you.

It is essential for ppu to knw where they can fit in best. The fact is that some ppu made great success being employed while some made it thru being self emplyed. I have an uncle. He made first class in sch, received scholarship for masters abroad, was very sound and brilliant. He worked in oil coy, climbed to a very high position in Shell, was well renowned in oil industry because his brilliant and excellent performance. He was so principled and a man of integrity. He was indeed very rich and has travelled places across d globe by d work exposure. But at a time, he resigned and set up his own company (glass manufacturing coy) and was running the coy. But do u imagine that this person who was so rich and highly respected, became poor, his coy folded and this large estate where d coy is situated was eventually converted to rentage for residentials. People discrediting online degrees esp genuine ones don't know what they r saying.... They are very good, very educating and the best for a distant learning.

Whats the point? Why not ban distance learning programs in Nigeria.

They should just focus on making better our education system in Nigeria so that we can at least make 999th position.

The rationale behind this nonsense is the fact that most people would prefer these programs than going to real lectures in Nigerian universities to face wicked, sadist lecturers and a harsh condition.

I have 5 certifications online.... wonderful skills acquired. I have never been this happy with learning. Oyibo sabi!!!!!
