Crime / Re: Fulani Herdsmen Kill 25 In Plateau, 11 Houses Razed In Fresh Attacks by okenta2017: 12:19am On Mar 14, 2018
DONSMITH123:

The mass burial of victims killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen in several communities in Bassa Local Government of Plateau State was on Tuesday disrupted by a fresh attack which left 25 persons dead.

Those to be given mass burial today were murdered between Thursday, March 8, 2018 when President Muhammadu Buhari paid an official visit to the beleaguered state, and Sunday, March 11.

During the latest attack which took place by 7:00pm on Monday, 11 houses were also razed down.

Persons suspected to be Fulani herdsmen were said to have killed the 25 persons, including three children and two women, in Dundu Village of Kwall District in Bassa LGA of Plateau State.

The spokesperson of Miango Youth Development Association, Lawrence Zongo, confirmed the casualty rate in an interview with The PUNCH in Jos on Tuesday.

He said, “Very sad! Again, Fulani terrorists killed 25 persons in Dundu Village of Kwall District in Bassa LGA of Plateau State.

“Eleven houses were razed down. The villagers were attacked around 7pm yesterday (Monday). Among the victims were three children and two women.

“Others, including two women, are now receiving treatment in a nearby hospital in the community. This is too bad, as we are planning the mass burial of the last attack.

“So far, we have more than 500 Internally Displaced Persons camp. International organisations should please come to our aid.”

When contacted, the spokesperson of Plateau State Police Command, Matthias Tyopev, an Assistant Superintendent of Police, also confirmed the attack , but said the information was sketchy.

According to him, the Plateau State Commissioner of Police, Adie Undie, has ordered a Deputy Commissioner of Police (Operations), Taiwo Jebiyisu, to the scene for an on-the-spot assessment.

He said, “There was an attack yesterday (Monday) in Bassa; as such, the Commissioner of Police, Plateau State Command, has directed the DCP Taiwo Jebiyisu, a Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Department of Operations, to go to the scene of crime for an on-the-spot assessment.

“As such, he is there now. The information is sketchy. I shall inform you when the details of the attack are made available, please.”

The reason for this sack may not be unconnected with the internal politics of the Trump Administration.
See Tweet below

I told my friend that if tellerson should visit Nigeria he will be reprimanded

He not only visited Nigeria but he fell for the school girl kidnap scarm of funding terrorist.

Trump has never hidden his dislike about Nigeria.after the slaughter of armless civilians

MIDDLE BELT BY LEGITIMACY

I am Otumala Jeo G
I am from Benue State, Nigeria
When i served as a missionary in Northern Nigeria
The Northerners asked of my state of origin
When I told them I am from Benue
They replied, 'Binue' (in their ascent)
Binue Inyamiri ne(meaning Benues are Ibo(Nyem Mmiri)
When I returned from the north,
I went to Enugu State, (Southern Nigeria) to pick a wife for myself,
They asked me, "where are you from?"
Benue, I responded
They turned to my lady and asked her;
"So you mean you didn't see any man from Ibo land other than Onye ahusa?"
Then i thought to myself,
My father does not understand 'Inaikwuana'
Neither does he know Otutu oma
My greeting is 'Noleyi'-Then, i remembered the great J. S. Tarka
And it quickly dawned on me that, I am not from the North
Neither am I from the south
I am MIDDLE BELT
I remember the story my father told me
About the Bat who has teeth like the dog,
Ears and eyes like the rat and wings like the bird,
On the day of his death,
They searched for his kinsmen to bury him
The Dog came and observed him and he said;
Of a truth his teeth and mouth looks like mine,
But his ears and wings we don't have in my family,
So he is not mine
They called on the rat and he said;
His eyes are my family looks and so are his ears
But we don't have wings in my family neither do we fly
So he is not of my kinsfolk
The bird came and observed him and said;
Surely, he has wings like my family members,
But as u can see, we do not have teeth and ears in my family,
Thus, i can't accept him as mine
There was no man to bury the bat
I am the bat, i am neither of the north nor of the south
But I have an identity, yes, I know I have!
I AM MIDDLE BELT
Why should I be killed as a southner
Or die as a northerner when I can live as a Middle Belter?
I don't need a stray-bullet death,
I have my life to live, I am from MIDDLE BELT
I live to give my children their identity
And die to preserve their prestige
They should proudly say;
I AM MIDDLE BELT
I believe in the Nigerian ideology
But not in the Nigerian political geography
I don't know of anything like North-Central in my geography
When you can't have South-Central
There is only North, South and the Middle Belt
The presidency had been zoned to the North over the years
If i am from the North as purported
Why am I not considered?
Why am I only good as a spokesman for the North and not a game player
I am neither enjoying the benefits of the south
Neither am I enjoying the privileges of the North
I AM MIDDLE BELT
I rise to take my place
I have lived in the illusion called NORTH for too long
A useful idiot I have been
Useful as a political pawn and a game changer
But unuseful in sharing the bounties of political victory
I must wake up to who I realy am
I will not sell my conscience for money
Neither will I sell my purpose for vain alliance
I AM MIDDLE BELT
There is a place called MIDDLE BELT in Nigeria
Where the braves are, there am I
And that's who I am

And they said military, police, and all security agencies on the ground, yet these marauding killers are walking freely with arms and ammunition.

Yet some are clamouring for a continuation of this state of affair and the failed people to continue to govern!

The fulanis know how powerful the Benue people are and that is why the army was send there
to checkmate the Benue people nothing more.

Owoseni was sent there to give the Benue people false hope he has no power to control the
the armed Fulani heardsmen.
This is a fight we must not allow the Benue people to fight alone.
The british and French and so many european countries fought and killed each other during many wars
but when they saw that the plan of Germany was to colonies Europe they forgot their
diferencies, came together to fight the germans
If they had left the French or the Jews to face the Germans alone, probably today no European
man will be walking as a free man in Europe except the Germans.

We southeners and middle belt are so myopic to ever think that the fulanies who are foreigners in Nigeria
will ever drop their great grand fathers drawn out master plan of colonising Nigeria.

No matter what we do please leave Britain out of it, they are just business people, even if
your blood are flowing and they are getting good return for their business so be it.

God so love the south that he gave them two major tribe, that what the two together decide
to reject no Fulani man can see it to fruition.
The fulanies had always know that the Igbos and Yoruba's has nothing in their heads and so
continually taka, advantage of this. Some of this stupidity also manifest itself here in nairaland

when a town in the west is attacked you will see some igbo people coming to say some stupid
things about the Yorubas and also when a town in the east is attacked some Yoruba people
will also be making unguided statements about the igbos instead of them putting heads together to see how these tsunami that is approchnig very fast could be confronted. (However I recognised the fulanis who pretend to be either Igbo or Yoruba and dish out old ravalry insult on both tribe to make sure the coming
together is never achieved, I have already marked them)

If you don't know what it means to be under a colony ask the south Africans.

History has shown that you cannot cry when the head is off.

Igbo and Yoruba ERONU to be forewarned is to be forearmed.

Keep dancing "it does not concern us we are no Benue". If you want to know if you are Benue
or not , let your state enact a "no open grazing law," and see if the fulanis will obey it.
but try violating their sharia law. You will then know who is the master or the slave.
A slave has no right to enact a law in colonised state without the permission of the master.

Troops of 707 Special Forces Brigade conducting EXERCISE AYEM AKPATUMA arrested 5 suspected cultists on Sunday 25 February 2018 at Katsina Ala local government area of Benue State. Preliminary investigation conducted revealed that the suspects were said to be students of College of Education, Katsina Ala who were about to be initiated as new members.

Troops acted on credible information followed by raid operations which led to their arrest. The suspects arrested are, Mr Dennis Victor Terfa, Mr Emmanuel Daniel Akpagher, Mr Akuse Jacob Aondongu, Mr Kpo Isaac and Mr Idika Kelechi.

Similarly troops operating at Sector C of same Exercise carried out cordon and search operations at Ukum Local Government Area which also led to the arrest of gun runners and cattle rustler.

Among the suspects arrested is a 55 year old weapon Instructor, Mr Samuel Gaza, who is a member of the Livestock Guard confessed to have been rustling cows for over 4 years before he was recruited by the state government, while Mr Jato Aontoseer, confess that he is a gun runner, Mr Avaatyough Aontoseer is a weapon fabricator.

Items recovered are: one Fabrique National rifle, 3 Fabrique National and AK 47 magazines, one locally made pistol, 3 dane guns, 4 mobile phones and one axe, military belt, lanyard and a beret, charms, some quantity of Indian hemp.

Source; https://www.nationalhelm.co/2018/02/troops-arrests-suspected-cultists-and-cattle-rustlers-at-katsina-ala.html

I can bet you with my life that these men are not cultist. Those wood carving you saw there gave a lot away.

Those woods that resemble guns are an indication that they are training to defend themselves.

these are the normal practice in the absents of guns wood carved in form of gun are used to

train would be trainee on how to handle gun in case of an attack.

During an attack when your partner with gun is killed you will take over his gun and continue the defence

running away has never been an option because you will be fired at an the reason for your running away
will be defeated.

The state government should come out quickly to provide these men with legal team to defend them else the Fulani Nigeria army will use these trick to wipe out capable men that will defend
Benue people.
The myeti Fulani herdsmen have sworn to establish cattle colonies in Benue and they will stop at nothing

During the Biafran war we used this form of carved wood to train Biafran soldiers did that
make us cultist.

Fulani Nigerian soldiers should stop deceiving the ingnorant public because they want to save their Fulani brothers.

Enough with all these games, stop disgracing innocent soul or you will soon meet your waterloo.

Dasukigate: EFCC grills Nigeria’s former Army Chief Ihejirika

February 21, 2018

Samuel Ogundipe

Mr. Ihejirika, a retired lieutenant-general, arrived at the EFCC headquarters in Abuja around 11:00 a.m. Wednesday and was subsequently ushered into an interrogation room, PREMIUM TIMES learnt.

Mr. Ihejirika, 62, led the Nigerian Army from September 2010 to January 2014 when he was dropped by President Goodluck Jonathan over his handling of the Boko Haram war.

His visit to the EFCC comes about 20 months after President Muhammadu Buhari said Mr. Ihejirika and others should be prosecuted after they were indicted by a panel of inquiry that probed the arms scandal, now widely dubbed the Dasukigate.

“He is being questioned as related to the procurement of arms and ammunition during the time he held sway as Chief of Army Staff,” an EFFC official told PREMIUM TIMES under strict anonymity because he was not an authorised spokesperson for the anti-graft agency.

“He will be released on administrative bail as soon as preliminary interrogations are over,” another source under anonymity said.

EFCC spokesperson Wilson Uwujaren did not respond to requests for comments.

Mr. Ihejirika said he didn’t immediately have answers to some of the questions thrown at him and sought the permission of his interrogators to go back home and retrieve more details relating to the arms purchase affairs, PREMIUM TIMES learnt.

The arms panel suspected Mr. Ihejirika of using family members and fronts to procure arms contract.

Mr. Ihejirika was eventually released on administrative bail on Wednesday night. He was asked to return on Thursday, PREMIUM TIMES learnt.
He was not removed because of his handling of Book haram, this is far from the truth
Rather GEJ kept him while he has reached retirement age before one APC lawyer went to court.

Something is going on underneath that some smart people of the south needs to unravel. It is glaring. Bh own will be child's play. Southern people should brace up speedily. Have you ever asked why so called Fulani herdsmen have not been killing in mostly Muslim dominated part of the north? Why south, and middle belt. If you don't know, this is BH extension .

When you arest these terrorist called Fulani herds men, this is what you will do

1. Disarm them.
2. Go for their phone, seize it.
3. Quickly move the arrested Fulani herdsmen far away from where you arrested them because they
have already alerted their fulani/nigerian army.
4. You should understand that they are always in contact with the army and the army are aware of
all their doings but pretend not to know. Have you ever stop to wonder why all the soldiers posted to
South and north central are Fulani and soldiers from Niger republic, send to nigeria under the pretext of
of fighting Bokoharam,( thats why the rail line to Niger republic for easy movement of troops nothing
else. The $ 1 billion was to settle Niger republic for the services of their troops in Nigeria for the
colonisation which they will also benefit.)
If you think it is only the almajaris that can be brainwashed you are wrong,
how about Audu Ogbe, Amaechi or governor of Ogun state. sooner or later you will find out. even the so
called Benue man who is the governor of IMO state has come to his senses lately since his maternal
home is being slaughtered daily.

5. You should understand that this is part of the game plan, subjecting you to constant
intimidation and fear until you now give up and say come and have your colony so that we can have
peace. The colonisation and islamisation will now begin earlier than you think.

6 Warning, never go on reprisal attack without proper check.because all those arms disappearing at
the port were used to arm the fulanies in the south.

Education / Re: MURIC To Nigerian Law School: Stop Provoking Muslims by okenta2017: 7:24pm On Feb 14, 2018
Opinionated:

The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has released a press statement in which it claims that the Management of the Nigerian Law School is provoking Muslims with its alleged insistence that Muslim ladies should not wear hijab to its customary dinner. Read the press release next:

NIGERIAN LAW SCHOOLS PROVOKING MUSLIMS

Although the dust is yet to settle on the call to bar hijab saga featuring Amasa Firdaus, the six Nigerian Law School campuses across the nation may not allow female Muslim students due for Bar Part II to wear their hijabs during the 2017/2018 First Term Law Dinner, which started yesterday, Wednesday, 13th February, 2018. The dinners will run till tomorrow, Thursday, 15th February, 2018.

The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) warns that any attempt to bar female Muslim law students who wish to use hijab from doing so is an infringement on Allah-given fundamental rights of those students as entrenched in Section 38 (i) & (ii) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Already, MURIC has received reports of a number of female Muslim law students at the Agbani, Enugu, Lagos and Abuja campuses who are allegedly being threatened with disciplinary measures should they use the Hijab at the Law Dinner.

We remind authorities of these Law School campuses of the provisions of Section 42 of the Nigerian Constitution which prohibits the placing of any citizen under any internally formulated restriction. We also call attention to Section 13 of the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act (1991) which forbids officials from taking any action “prejudicial to the rights of any person knowing that such act is unlawful or contrary to any government policy”
We affirm clearly, emphatically and unequivocally that whatever emanates from any circular in any Nigerian institution (the Law Schools included) must comply with the dictates of the Nigerian Constitution which is the font et origo of all laws, rules, regulations, provisions and directives in this country.

MURIC warns that certain campuses of the Nigerian Law Schools are deliberately precipitating crisis by stereotyping female Muslim students on the issue of hijab. Those who seek to play God in the lives of Nigerian Muslims are religious fanatics bent on intimidating, oppressing and persecuting Muslims.
This is a dangerous situation capable of snowballing into a religious crisis whose consequences no one can predict. The Qur’an affirms that oppression is worse than killing (Qur’an 2:191). This verse underlines the gravity of the hijab phenomenon. Female Muslims are being persecuted in order to give undue advantage to non-Muslims. It is religious apartheid. It is unacceptable. We will rather be free men in our graves than live like puppets and second class citizens.

Those who make rules and regulations impossible to obey make it impossible not to disobey. Law Schools where anti-Muslim dressing codes are issued in a multi-religious Nigeria do not belong to decent and accommodating communities of men and women.

While MURIC advocates non-violence in its interventions (based on its avowed motto, ‘Dialogue, Not Violence’), Nigerian Law Schools should not wait until radical and anti-dialogue elements hijack the initiative and start disrupting Law School Dinners. They may even do more. The fact that these anti-Muslim antics are not attempted anywhere in the core North suggests tactical conspiracy against Nigerian Muslims by authorities of those Law Schools where the profiling and persecution of Muslims have become the stock-in-trade.
Finally, we call on the Federal Government and the National Assembly (particularly the House of Representatives where the Amasa Firdaus case is still being investigated) to turn its attention to what is going on in the Law School Dinners across the country. Muslims are not being violent now but they are being persecuted. Those who fail to listen to the dialogue group may have cause to regret it sooner or later.

Professor Ishaq Akintola,
Director,
Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC)

source: http://www.opinions.ng/muric-nigerian-law-school-stop-provoking-muslims/

You Muslim terrorist should understand that nobody has monopoly of violence.

Just start what you have in mind, that your terrorist brother is the head of state.

When you were implementing your sharia law all over north. you did not rember that all Nigerians
are not muslimi . must you study law. Was that rule introduced today.

You want to armtwist the law school so that tomorrow you will say Nigeria is fulani conquered
territory and F!ulani must make the law. You forget so quick, the last time you
touched the IBO's in the north you remember the response it was total, not now that people are ready for you
and there are enough meat to go round.
We now want Nigeria to break to pis so that you can make you terrorist law in your country as you wish.
Let me warn and tell you terrorist nobody has monopoly of violence .

A Nigerian man named Fakorede Sola, has taken to Facebook to lament his loss after his farm was set on fire by suspected Fulani herdsmen in Ekiti state. According to the distraught man, he invested his live savings on the farm because of the passion he has for farming before it was set on fire by the herdsmen because they were warned to stop their activities on the farm.

Read what he shared online;

Four Years ago, I went back to to the farm.Invested my life savings and borrowed more money from friends. Took bank loan. Considering the future and invested in my passion. Got labour from locals and also employed few from Benin Republic.

Planted over 4,000 stands of palm tree; over 2,000 stands of plantain; over 500 stands of cashew and about 300 stands of Cocoa.

I was always excited traveling to Ekiti twice a month from my base in Lagos to monitor the progress of my passion and investment.

Unfortunately, my hope was dashed this morning when I got the call that Fulani Herdsmen set my farm ablaze last night. Just because they were warned by my workers to stop their activities on the farm.

Is this how we will continue?

useless ipob.they don gather a litle population they want to sacrifice to the pyton the way coward ojukwu sacrifice 3000000 pigs to gallant nigerian soldiers
Go and get you facts right, Nigerian army lost more soldiers than Biafra soldiers
Due to lack of arm our technique was hit and run and they follow in hot pursuit and ogbunigwe responded
accurately living no one in doubt. And that was why the capture and recapture.
They had to bring in troops from Niger republic. The captured ones were testimony to that
Because of the impending cattle colony they are building rail to Niger for easy movement
of Fulani soldiers in case the resistance get violent.
Why would miyeti Allah be so arrogant to insist on cattle colony after so many southern states
have made their position clear. They massacre innocent people in Enugu, Benue, Taraba, Adamawa.
Pleatue and you want them to sit with you so that you lay down the condition with which
you will forcefully acquire their land for your cattle colony.

South East is not the only IPOB states, it include Benue State,
Just find a way of reconciling with these people instead of blowing trumpet of threat
they have gone beyond what you can ever imagine in your life time. They have reformatted their
earlier mode of operation. You could have allowed them with their Biafra noise internally while they are
closely being monifored, with time people will get fedup with them. (If people are engaged and your army
are not carrying out genocide in the middle of the night under the name cattle heards men
because they want to take over people land for cattle colony, all these wouldnt have started, so leave
treasury looter out of it because you nigerian politicians are all looters.)The problem with us in this country
is that our intel lack experience. Now they gained the sympathy of those who initialy was agaist them
including people like you to mention just a few.
Just tell your Fulani master to drop this idea of cattle colony before sympathercers start
arming them. Which ever way, we prefer one Nigeria were there is equity and justice.

Obasanjo want to make sure Atiku is not elected. He formed a third force to devide middle belt

things are not going his way. The fear of atiku being President is getting real.
He should be ignored with his fake third force, it will not work.
Nigerians has gone beyond those stupid tricks.
If you want to know more about the man call Obasanjo read the book called Tinubu

That is the reason for the present third force scam..

Politics / Re: Army To Begin Operation Python Dance III, Others Soon, Says Buratai by okenta2017: 11:39am On Feb 03, 2018
Okwyla:
The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt-Gen. Tukur Buratai, has disclosed that the Nigerian Army would soon deployed its personnel to various parts of the country to contain ongoing threat to security in the country.

He said the troops would be deployed under Special Forces, such as Operation Python Dance III in the Southeast, Operation Crocodile Smile III in the Niger Delta and Southwest and Harbin Kunama III in the North to contend cattle rustling in that part of the country.

Buratai spoke in Abuja, yesterday, after leading officers and men on an annual 15-kilometre route match that culminated at the Mogadishu Cantonment in the city, tasked officers and men to be on alert, as they could be deployed any moment there was any need for that.

He reiterated that some officers and men could be deployed at short notice to assist what he called “civil authorities” to contend insecurity in any part of the country and charged them to be prepared for the task.

The army chief could not, however, give a clear picture on whether the troops would carry out similar exercise in Benue, Taraba and Nasarawa states, following incessant herdsmen/farmers clashes in those states, which have resulted in several killings.

He said: “Well, we are not thinking of any particular situation; we are going to train on general areas, which could include that aspect as well.

“But our focus will be to ensure that security is provided across the country.

“So, definitely, expect Harbin Kunama III, Crocodile Smile III and Egwu Eke Dance III and probably another exercise coming, which will be made known at the appropriately time.”

Operation Python Dance I & II, Operation Harbin Kunama I and II were among others conducted in 2016 and last year, respectively, to deal with the menace of cattle rustling and herdsmen/farmers clashes in parts of Northwest and North-Central, while Crocodile Smile and Egwu Eke Dance were conducted in the Niger Delta and the Southeast, respectively, last year to tackle pipeline vandalism, oil theft and piracy, violent agitation and kidnapping.

Rubish,

this is just a rehasal to eventual deployment, after the forceful establishment of cattle
colonies. This goes to show that brutai is an inexpience army officer. I will advice those affected
to study their operational tec. and who they make frequent contact with and type of weapons used for
operation.
Politics / Re: Killings: Presidency Laments Hate Speech, Demands Respect For Buhari by okenta2017: 11:10am On Feb 03, 2018
Ecstasy154:
The Senior Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity told journalists in Abuja on Friday that many media organisation are guilty of reporting hate speech as it concerns the report of clashes in Benue State.

“The growing lack of respect for journalism ethics and press laws in the Nigerian media, especially regarding the clashes in Benue State is very unfortunate.

“The frequent expression of hate speech published by newspapers, in news stories and especially in columns is indeed a source of concern to all.

“We want to state emphatically that a segment of the Nigerian media is sinking deeper and deeper into the mesh of hate speech in spite of repeated appeals by recognised and reputable media bodies, the Government and concerned Nigerians.”

The presidential spokesman said also condemned a publication in a national newspaper which said ‘‘President Muhammadu Buhari was the first to endorse the Benue massacre’’ on New Year Day stating that this is inciting members of the public.

Shehu also cited example of a national newspaper with the headlines: ‘Expect More Blood in Benue.’

“Apart from the basic tone of respect expected from an individual who is supposedly intelligent and educated enough to know better since they have been granted space to write in a national newspaper, there is the risk of inciting the public to actions that will have gory consequences for the entire nation for generations to come.

“Those beating the gongs of war and fanning the embers of discord must remember what prevailed in Rwanda before the genocide of the early 90s, during which hundreds of thousands of lives were lost as a result of consistent hate speech spewing from that country’s media,” he said.

He appealed to the media to express criticisms without resorting to name calling.

“We must learn to express our grievances and criticisms without resorting to gutter language or to name calling, and the press has a responsibility to maintain that even if it means calling their columnists to order.

Calling for respect for the position of the President, Shehu said President Buhari according to the constitution has the primary duty of protecting life and property and that is what he has been doing in Benue and across the country.

“Calling him a murderer is not only grossly disrespectful but unfair, especially when the President has written a letter to the Senate detailing his efforts to quell the crisis in Benue State, including dispatching the Minister of Interior and the Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of operations for an on the spot assessment of the situation in the aftermath of the unfortunate incident; and receiving a direct briefing from the IG the following day.”

It is OK to conceel the murderous activities of buhari to the outside world.
When Isrealites occupied part of Jerusalem, buhari was the first to cry to united nation
but as we speak buhari Fulani brothers are presently occupying majority of Benue state farm land and
you don't want anybody to talk about it. I hope you understand the Tiv people very well.
When the gorila warfare begins the bokoharam scam will be a child's play. At least there will be
enough cattle meat for the war effort. Don't start something you know you cannot finish.
That area will be too dangerous for you to start your stupid hidden agenda of colonization.
The indigenous people of Nigeria has wisenup. Drop that stupid agenda else you will be the
loser in the end.
