Hi guys, you’re doing amazing work here
I’m currently in a dilemma o. I have one week till resumption to St. Lawrence college kingston campus for post graduate studies and I still haven’t gotten my Visa. My agent applied for it last week October, i did medicals and biometrics first week of November and since then I’ve been waiting.
I just paid 1st semester tuition but I’m yet to get a receipt of payment, could that be what is delaying approval? What do you advice i do pls ie if it keeps delaying. Do i defer to next session or can i resume late or can i opt for an online study while i wait.
Also in hopes of everything turning out well, i need help of getting an airbnb in kingston area ON. Can anyone help me with how i can go about this?

The bolded is your answer. A PGD or advanced diploma. Check Conestoga college too

Thank you so much for the response. Please can i ask for the reason for your choice? Do you think the advanced diploma for biotechnology is not good enough for getting a study visa or it’s not a good enough job prospect in canada? Thanks

Hi Guys,
My inquiry is concerning studying(graduate program) and working and living in canada.
I have a degree in medical laboratory science which i got 2 years ago so my work experience is just 1 year internship and 1 year nysc.
I finished with a 2.9 CGPA which makes me ineligible for a masters, my next options are grad dip, grad cert and advanced dip
The only grad dip i found have intakes for only sept and this year is already gone in respect to visa application. But i have found some programs for grad certificate and advanced diploma with jan 2022 intakes
- I found a couple grad certificate programs for health care administration/manag. in some colleges in ontario, fanshawe, st lawrence etc
-then advanced dip for biotechnology fast track
What do you think is best in respect to acquiring a student visa and also finding a good job and settling in canada?
I look forward to your help. Thanks.

If you are very interested in Biotech, since they are not going to run it in January which likely due to number of admitted students not enough to open the program:

First option

You can select to join in May 2021 since the program will be opened by that time.

Second option

Also, I believe that you applied for the Biotech normal fast-track option! You can ask them to shift you to their Biotechnology - Advanced (Fast Track) option which seems to still be available for Jan 2021 pending the waitlist.

Third option

You may decide to take their Food Science Tech (its opened for Jan 2021) which has some similar courses with the biotech in the first semester, so after first semester you can switch back to your Biotech during Summer and get exemption of the related courses from FST.

Best wishes [hello sir, I have some questions concerning advanced diploma biotechnology in centennial college canada for jan 2022 session ]
