Cameroon Forcibly Repatriates Over 500 Nigerians
The Cameroonian Government has forcibly repatriated at least 517 Nigerians back to our country. The deportees include 313 asylum seekers who fled Boko Haram insurgency in the Northeast.
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said efforts are ongoing to get details surrounding the action by Cameroon and the condition of the affected Nigerians.
The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) is reported to be very concerned about the action of Cameroon against Nigerians.
The commission has called on the Cameroonian Government to respect international conventions and offer asylum, as against the forced repatriations.

EFCC recovers 17 vehicles from Ex-Comptroller of Customs, Abdullahi Dikko

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has recovered seventeen exotic vehicles in a warehouse of the former Comptroller General of Customs, Abdullahi Dikko Inde located at Nnamdi Azikwe Street, Kaduna. The recovery was sequel to an intelligence the agency received that stolen money and properties suspected to proceeds of crime were being stored in there. Upon receipt of the intelligence, a team of operatives from the Kano Zonal Office were deployed to carry out the investigation. On arrival at the location, two individuals who were discovered to be custodians of the property, Dantala Mohammed and Ahmed Balarabe were presented with a search warrant. Upon executing the search warrant, a total of seventeen vehicles, amongst them brand new cars, shuttle busses and SUVs were discovered. Consequently, the vehicles and the two individuals who are now also suspects in the investigation were conveyed to the Commission’s zonal offices in Kaduna and Kano respectively for further investigation which revealed that the warehouse in question actually belongs to the former customs boss.

Man Kills Girlfriend And Sleeps With Her Corpse, Says She Never Allowed Him To Have Sex With Her While She Was Alive
A 35-year-old man, Sunday Ushie, on Monday confessed to killing his purported ‘girlfriend’, identified as Nnena Samuel, and went ahead to have se x with the corpse, Punch reports.
The incident happened on January 26, 2017 in Adijinkpor village in Ikom Local Government Area of Cross River State.
Ushie, a cocoa farmer in Akparabong, confessed to the crime, saying that she never gave him the opportunity to have sex with her while alive.
He said that he invited her to his house and killed her with knife before having sex with the corpse. The farmer, who said he was regretting his action, blamed the incident on the devil.
