Visit the nearest EFFC office and make your case. If you are able to show them prove, first the account will be blocked and it's phone number will be tracked.
I will see how to go about it. Thanks

Sorry to hear about this but I think if someone buys something at least above a certain threshold you should have asked for more forms of identification since there may be issues with the network or fraud rather than just the phone number he was allowed to drop.

well spoken, thanks.

Report to the police. Just be ready to part with about 30 to 50k for them to do their job
I just don't want it so complicated and at the end, I may still not get any result.

The customer used an Opay account and my brother's Bank is Wema Bank. I also use Wema Bank and their network is fair enough.

You mentioned somewhere that Aba Power Company is a public company but I think it's a private business. Anyways, I was so happy the day I sent NDDC an email about their ongoing foreign MSc scholarship and the response was fast.

Many Nigerian public institutions don't care about customer service because they know that whether they make money or not, their salary is guaranteed. That's why private companies will always do better in this country.
Abia has a share in the company too
Politics / Aba Power Limited; My Complaint Made So Easy by Okeytus(m): 11:00am On May 10
We have been having light for more than two weeks now nonstop but recently our power is less than the normal voltage and fluctuating rapidly hence rendering damages to most home appliances.
Due to my busy nature and I wanted an easy way to get the complaints across to Aba Power Limited, I went online to check them and was redirected to their customer service through whatspp platform and they were very responsive, promising to send their team to remedy the situation. Below is screenshots of our chats, I'm happy public firms like this have active online customer service. Please share your experience if u have encountered something similiar.

Wetin politicians go share during primaries, campaigns and general elections. It's against them not the masses, so it won't fly.
Our politicians know this is a solution but won't implement it because they would be greatly affected, most of their transaction is done in dollars, most times in cash.
Politics / Why Can't Nigeria Have A Cashless Dollar Policy? by Okeytus(m): 9:24am On Feb 15
This, I believe is the solution to Naira depreciation, The policy was done on naira and it appreciated within the country. This cashless dollar policy will also control dubious individuals from swallowing dollars in the market all the time. Please give your own suggestions

our system of local production in this country isn't helping to reduce price or benefit the economy. The system need to be changed, encourage many local producers and eradicate monopolies.
