Miss Centenary Beauty Pageant

To all our aspiring contestants and all Nigerians, due to the recent controversies surrounding the "Miss Centenary Beauty Pageant" project, the organisers wish to say that efforts will not be wasted to bring the issue to an end.

Our hardworking, vibrant young entrepreneur CEO, has been called derogatory names by calls and messages from the public, he has been receiving threat messages to drop the project.

We the organisers, Centenary Events & Entertainment in conjunction with Succex Multimedia Limited of Miss Centenary Beauty Pageant will like to let the public know that some people just want to intimidate, cheat and rob us of our intellectual property because of the offices they occupy.

We sat as a group of young people with our CEO last year to develop the concept/content for this project and early this year we registered it with the relevant organisations such as

1. Federal Ministry of Trade and Investment, department of trademark and patent designs with the title "Miss Centenary Beauty Pageant and Fashion Show"

2. Corporate Affairs Commission as an organisation "Centenary Events and Entertainments"

We acted according to the law of the land as we also wrote to office of the SGF for partnership, until later we heard someone with a big name has gone to start from the top while we are following the due process in rules of engagement by kick starting from the ground to the top and was later confirmed when the office of the SGF wrote to us thru our lawyer that they have decided to engage Nike Oshinowo of AOE Events, isn't that an abuse to rule of law?

We like to appeal to everyone that we have engaged in one way or the other, especially our aspiring contestants to be patient, and to reassure them that we are not 419 as we have been painted by the high and mighty that think they are above the law, as issues like this would be addressed by a competent law. We gladly inform you that the process is already ongoing.
