Whatever loan and investment dangote has made, if he calculates and deducts shipping cost, we are supposed to get it at a cheaper rate compare to what we are buying before plus subsidy. Is Nigeria giving him the crude in naira or dollar rate. In all dangote don't care about you. So don't expect anything cheaper.

Nobody takes a death treat as a joke. The DSS, SSS and Nigerian police will not see this one. Nigeria indeed.

okpurukata:

This is a real insight into your mind and probably the minds of many others like you. It's very scary indeed. I will not take this as a joke and call on all other Igbos on this forum to bookmark this comment, this is how Rwanda genocide started. Some should trace this guy's IP. DSS needs to find out more from you as to the planned attack against Ibos.
I have taken most of these ethnic banners as jokes, but honestly I now know how serious you guys are. I for one have started investing at home.

Igbos will fold their hands and allow you kill them. Leave Yoruba and Igbos only for a fight and they will be chased to the lagoon. Ask why the Fulani jihadists did not take any part of Igbo land and overan ilorin advancing towards Lagos before all the obas accepted to be Muslims. Cowards grin
Politics / Re: Nnamdi Kanu is a hero. He's comparable to Nelson Mandela. by okoloto: 1:54pm On May 16, 2023
Nnamdi Kanu is a hero. Take it or leave it. The apartheid regime wanted to bribe nelson, he refused, his people loves him. All same with Kanu. Heros will tell you the truth. If nnamdi Kanu decides to go fo an election in any state in the south east, even without campaigning, he will win straight. Igbos are not cowards and that is why the Fulani could not penetrate after overwhelming the hausas, took ilorin and when other remaining obas in south west saw they are the next, they accepted Muslim. That is why all the obas in Yoruba land are Muslims. Check history. It's either you accept or they will overan you and take over your kingdom and install a Fulani man just like they did in ilorin.

The intimidation of the fulanis to other tribes both in politics is just not it. How can you come to someone's house and forcefully kill and chase him out. And the govt looks the other way. Unfortunately we love them but hate the one contributing immensely to the development of the country. How can we move forward. How can you build bridge with a greedy man?

Family / Re: My Husband Doesn't Want Us To Get A House Help by okoloto: 4:05pm On May 10, 2023
Marriage have stages. This stage you are in now is one of the most stressful especially for the women. Consider also the baggage that comes with house helps. Most times it doesn't end well even as you or husband relation as a house help. Younger folks are no longer what they use to be in the past.
Why I said marriage comes in stages is because if you can plan yourself out now, very soon the kids will be helping in house chores and won't be as demanding as they are now.
Unfortunately your husband is not always around to help out. However it is a thing two of you will reason together and find solution. It doesn't mean he is being wicked. Most times men see handling the home as the woman responsibility and so see the wife as lazy if she is not meeting up. Because most of them don't really see that house work is even more stressful than daily paid jobs.
In all you can convince him for a visiting house help. Wishing you luck.

Akwaibom, Rivers and Bayelsa states should have owed a refinery if the governor's are visionary. Not to talk of imo and abia. Nigeria until now shouldn't be importing fuel as the federal govt cannot manage their refinaries. How can they when they will put hollow heads to manage it on tribal sentiments.
Politics / Re: Apprentice Gone Rogue: Why Atiku Shunned, Humiliated Obi At Bayelsa Airport by okoloto: 2:48pm On May 07, 2023
Atiku is not a good politician then.. How does he expect the presidency to go back to the north? Politics is all about interest for politicians and so if you loose, you try again just like he has been doing since 1993. All these old politicians that don't want to leave the stage for more vibrant candidates. Obi is a better candidate if not our tribalistic, rigging approach to elections.
However let's see how jagaban will disappoint his haters.

Politics / Re: You Will Think Yorubas Own Nothing In Lagos by okoloto: 1:31am On May 03, 2023
Chai, the wicked politicians have finished us. Instead of all of us joining hands to take them to books, they divide us with tribe and religion so that there will be no unity to demand for our right instead we will be fighting each other. Divide and rule they have been using God will help us so that it will expire one day.
The last time I checked we all buy the same product at same price in the same market.
These politicians doesn't know tribe when they gather to share our common wealth.
It's high time we stop this tribal politics and elect leaders not based on tribe because as a common man you benefit nothing from voting your brother or sister that will be there only to enrich him or herself and immediate families.
If other tribes are no more comfortable with the Igbos, it's better they allow them go. Relationship is never forced.

Politics / Re: Nigerians Abroad Remitted $168bn In Eight Years – World Bank by okoloto: 10:58am On Apr 26, 2023
If our government is serious, they should, target jobs highly needed overseas, setup structures to train our youths to facilitate their relocation. We have the population and their is nothing like brain drain if the youths are highly trained. The ones that can't travel will be home to fill whatever gap.
In the early 60/70, the Chinese were migrating to the western world in droves. 90% of Alaska in America and British Columbia in Canada is Chinese and china town in most European countries. They took back technology and capital to facilitate also what china is now. India did the same with doctors and Philippines with nurses.
We can't provide the education, jobs and expect our youths not to be lazy while discouraging the few that can struggle their way out.
Most families depends only on these remittances. God should help us with good leaders that is positive to global economic situation. We appreciate all our Nigerian men and women that works odd hours to make this happen for themselves, their families and the nations at large because they also indirectly creat jobs by engaging people in the businesses they have back home or building houses. Some provide direct humanitarian help.

Bro, this is the best advise you can get here.

Odin13:
Relocate with the funds you have bro.. dollar is going up and won’t stop..
No job guarantee in Nigeria .. especially for hustlers .. maybe except you’re managing yours and know too well the secret of that business..

Love is an illusion.. is never real.. it always fade with time .. beside she’s still young.. make she gather experience of life .. while faithfully waiting for you..
give your self a year or two and build develop yourself outside the shores .. learn new things and stabilize..

If she’s still available.. you can make the commitment..if she’s not .. you’re a lucky being.

Is yourself first.. self first… stable family.. then you can add another family .. before your “ own” family.. I mean kids ..

Good luck

Those wicked northern politicians keep their people down for political manipulation. A man that has no education understands nothing and much easy to manipulate. Just as APC made some yorubas in Lagos think that the Igbos will take over Lagos if the allow gbadebo to win the election. The learned yorubas understood differently but for people like where the belle face.

Your mother will not forgive you. Give her equal treatment. Now marriage is not for husband and wife but when it was your mother that suffered for you, it will be different. If table turns that family will abandoned you including your so called wife. Seems you are a simp.

Rufia is a journalist. And a good one at that. Fearless. His type is what we need unfortunately journalism in Nigeria is about interest and the highest bidder. Part of the institutional decay just as most Nigerians doesn't believe anymore in the justice system which should be the hope of the common man. It's unfortunate.

Marriage na baggage, sometimes whatever you see, you take. None is sugar and tea, forget the social media postings. Most na packaging. grin Some people can't withstand what they saw in the baggage and bolts away. There is no marriage without a baggage but let it not be the one that will choke to death. Exiting before funeral is always the best. It's happens both ways by the man or the woman.
Unfortunately here there is no communication. So how will you repackage.

Politics / Re: This Is Why There Aren't Many South Westerners In The East (pictures) by okoloto: 10:39pm On Mar 15, 2023
You are absolutely right. I think it has to do also with culture. The yorubas are nice people and too respectful. That is the upbringing and you that doesn't have such overbearing respect will be termed rude. That is the major problem the yorubas have with the Igbos.
Igbo culture puts your feet in the ground from day one. That is why it is said that the Igbos have no king. Yorubas should stop thinking that the Igbos are dragging their land or anything with them.
You cannot see an Igbo man marrying to be fed by the parents. He has to be a man to get married and not under the father's roof. Even if he has to stay in the father's house, he will be providing but very rare.
Not that the yorubas don't travel to other zones, they do but very rare. I was in Enugu state and met a medical doctor from ekiti that was there for his youth service and stayed after. He now has a clinic and a very large farm, married to an indegene and very rich and happy. But in all, the politicians too is contributing 99% of the tribal sentiments we have in Nigeria for their selfish gain and for election purposes. Nigeria is a blessed country.

The 3 basic necessities in life is food, shelter and clothing. The problem is that we always approach things with sentiments. As long as you eat food and wear cloths, one should also plan for his rent.
Find small money and beg the landlord, he will be considerate except you don't always pay rent as at when due.
We should also learn to save for rent.
People should liken paying rent to how you will feel when you worked for a whole month and your salary is not paid. Most landlords depends solely on that rent to survive.
