Politics / Audacious Philanthropy- Mr Tein T.s Jack-rich by Olaedoh: 9:43am On Dec 24, 2021 |
The secret to living is giving. That is to say, by contributing to the well-being of others, our communities and the world at large, we find more meaning in life. Many high-profile people have learned this lesson, choosing to donate their financial resources to communities and causes that need support. An explicit example of someone who understands the above and is living it is Mr. Tein T.S. Jack-Rich. Like most children in Nigeria, Jack-Rich was born into very modest circumstances and not with any kind of special spoon, silver or gold. The history of his life is one of someone who fabricated his own spoon with divine favor. Born on the 28th day of January 1975, to the humble family of Elder and Mrs. Teinbo Saturday Seliyefubara, Jack-Rich hails from Rivers State, Nigeria and understood from an early age what it meant to not have enough as he lost both parents at the tender age of 10. It is said that a problem is a chance for you to do your best, Mr Tein T.S Jack-Rich strongly believed in this quote and did not allow this unfortunate experience mar his dreams but saw it as a learning curve for understanding the responsibility of being a man and forging his own path in life without relying on anyone. In later years, he went on to study Petroleum Production Technology in Panola College Cartage, USA, Business Administration at the University of Wales, as well as Business Management at the Usam University. He also obtained numerous Fellowship and Doctorate awards both within and outside the country. After twelve years of hard work, Jack-Rich founded J+G Global Gas & Oilfield Limited in 1998 and other subsidiaries to provide oil and gas-related services. Today he is the President/Founder of Belema Oil Production Limited, the first indigenous oil exploration and production company in Nigeria to emerge from the oil producing community in the heart of Niger Delta. Known for his job creation, philanthropy, patriotism and passion for education, Jack-Rich’s grass to grace life experience molded him into a philanthropist with a burning zeal towards giving back to the society and helping as many as he can. He has undertaken philanthropic work through both his personal contributions and through his charitable organization, the Belema Aid Foundation. “Indigenous capacity development is the way to a sustained future, continuous job creation and social intervention.” The quote above from Mr. Tein Jack-Rich himself, gives us an insight to the foundation and principle he believes and operates. Building indigenous capacity of the different parts and sectors of the country not only creates a well-rounded and stronger economic environment in which every sector thrives, but also ensures all the parts is equipped for the changing world. This is why he has, through his Foundation, awarded scholarships to hundreds of students from all parts of the country, some of whom have graduated from schools in Canada, Ghana, Ukraine, UK, USA, Malaysia, Nigeria, North Cyprus, and the Philippines. He has also provided for his immediate community and many other communities, portable drinking water. The 180,000 liter capacity portable water facility he constructed at the A.D. Rufai College for Legal and Islamic studies in Misau, Bauchi State as well as the construction of 600,000 liters capacity water plant at the Adoration ground, Emene, Enugu State and many others, serves to show his generosity and goodwill towards all parts of the country. He was also conferred with the title of Sarkin Ruwan Hausa (the Water Provider) by the Daura Emirate in appreciation of his concerted humanitarian effort in alleviating the problem of portable water in Daura Community – Katsina State. The equitable provision of a safe and secured country to its entire citizen is important for the growth and sustainability of the country. It not only helps build the confidence needed to overcome societal mistrust in violence-affected countries but directly affects the economy of the country. Aaron Sorkin rightly said, “We live in a world that has walls and those walls need to be guarded by men with guns”. As a man highly invested in the economy of the country, Mr. Tein Jack-Rich in his benevolence of manner suited to the philanthropy of his mind, have also donated towards improving the security situation in Nigeria through the construction of the 16 Brigade, Camp Buratai at Yenegoa, Bayelsa State. He is also currently constructing an ultra-modern faculty of engineering building as well as a 180 bed space standard hostel at the Nigerian Army University Biu, Borno State. The Belema Aid Foundation is of the opinion that “It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and silver” and that is why the Belema Aid Foundation have equally contributed in the health sector through the construction of the 300 bed Hospital and Infectious Disease Center with 600,000 liter capacity portable water facility in Kano, Kano state and the construction of the Primary Healthcare Centre at Tama in Bindawa LGA, Katsina State. His various business ventures and charity organizations has also employed over 3,000 Nigerian youths with plans for 12,000 more as ambassadors of wealth creation throughout the country. A man of humanity is one who, desiring attainment for him helps others to attain. This aptly describes Mr. Tein T.S Jack-Rich, who constantly helps all around him to attain and create their path while building the foundation for the generation unborn. Expression goes that “the only ones who are really happy are those who have sought and found how to serve." WE HAVE FOUND ONE !!! Mr. Tein T.S Jack-Rich, have sought and found his calling and have also answered the call to serve.

Good day all, please I have a question, after going for an interview, how long does it take for the organization to get back to you, with regards to whether you got the job or not. I went for an interview on Tuesday, everything went well. We even agreed on salary structure and all. They said they'll get back to me, this is Friday and I haven't heard from them. How long should it take for them to get back to me. I want to know as I have another offer but will prefer this particular organization |
