The CBN policy does not affect student school fees and living expenses. once you can provide documentations that your admission is genuine and you print the page on the school website that shows the amount of money you need to transfer, you are good to go. The bank will transfer to the school at CBN official rate of 199naira/dollar. The bank will also charge a small amount of money as transfer charges.

University of oslo requires english test. IELTS or toefl. I had to sit for ielts exam and upload my result before completing my application. They only started requesting for english test this year. Nigeria and some english african countries were exempted before but not anymore.

why not see it this way...get into Norway , and while doing your Msc, apply for migration to Canada or Australia through the skillled migration programe. that way you would have a Masters in hand and a Permanent residency into any of these two countries. God can set you up for the big stage in any country, we walk by FAITH and not by sight!

I totally agree with you on this. Also, You can learn to speak Norway's language within the two years of ur masters (@ least to an acceptable level). And who says you can't get a good job even after completing your master's there. Also, your ability to speak another language different from your lingua franca gives you an edge in the global market. I have no ill-fellings about canada. I just prefer Norway. God bless

Sorry for my late reply...mum has been sick and I have to run around plus I lost a colleague in med school 3dqys to swearing in. Been a sad week for me. Well just follow the link sent you by the university and register as an international applicant i.e. without Norwegian Id, then follow the instructions. You will be asked to choose a new password and co after a mail has been sent to you. When you finally login. Do the needful documentation then go to my documents and then start uploading all u have been asked to only in PDF format. If u get stuck lemme know. Some times it may fail to upload...just keep trying. I had the habit of sending them mails to.alert them on situation on ground. They always reply. For ntnu they will confirm.that they received yr uploads. I bet you wont have a hard time. Gods Grace

May God restore her health in Jesus name. It is well bro.

Hi everyone, stumbled across this thread about a week ago and got interested in Norway and found two courses in the same school and would like to join either one. MSc in Information System specializing in Digital Business Systems and MSc in Information System specializing in IS Management and Innovation both from Norwegian School of Information Technology and would like to know if anyone knows my odds of gaining admission since I have a cgpa of 2.98/5.00 from Information Management technology and would taking TOEFL or IELTS be necessary.

You can find all the necessary information on the school's official website.

well they should receive it, find a way to keep contact with your school plus they should have a tracking number too. i sent a mail to the admissions office asking them about the deadline for the transcript reaching them, they said February 1st incidentally my birthday....so you need not to fear. please i have been trying to upload my own transcript but its not working, can i get help on this? please someone reply

Uni of Oslo confirmed my transcript was received two weeks ago. They even uploaded it to my application page on soknasweb. For uploading, i think you should scan the documents using a good scanner, convert to pdf file and save with a name before uploading. Also, try use google chrome as your web browser.

Well, I'm used to managing myself when it becomes necessary. I still can't believe I lived on 20k(5.5% of income) as pocket
money this month just to enable me meet up d 2.5m account balance in short notice.
My only worry about Norway is ones chance of getting a skilled job related to ones course of study after MSc, if one truly has only 6months extension to achieve such in a country with a different national language. Bros, I don't hope to return to 9ja as an applicant after leaving my job to gain knowledge about the field I'm passionate about. At least 5yrs of skilled work there will be a good reward.
I initially wanted Canada but I'm only trying Norway cos of the affordability and cos they offer the course I love to further on.

So many uncertainties...

Bros i understand your plight, I also i'm denying myself of so many things just to meet up with the fund. I believe if one eventually gets there and put in great efforts to one studies and gets the highest grade possible, way must open. Believe in God to make a way. We no go come naija come dey hustle for job again (lailai). By God's grace, na to come naija come dey invest. And na so e go be by his Grace.

I really think you should not delay your online application for ielts. The exam board will forward your score directly to the school, provided you gave them the school's details during the exam. However, if you did not, you should still go ahead and complete the online application. You can upload your score when it's ready. Good you have applied so early.
