Education / Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Olamadueke(m): 10:29pm On Jun 28, 2021
Thanks a lot Sir. I am very grateful.
Enskynelson:

You can register this semester and not register next semester; then come to continue from where you stopped later. You can also choose to register for fewer or more courses depending on your work schedule for that semester. If you are transferred from your current State to another place, you can continue your programme at another Study Centre without any issue. Some semesters, you may not have money to register all your required courses. NOUN can allow you to register for courses as much as your money can carry. You can hook up to online facilitation at your pace. The videos of facilitations (lectures) that you miss will be there online for you to come and watch again and again... and much more.

Good evening house. Please what is studying in NOUN like? Is attending lectures part of the programme? To what extent is schooling there flexible? Thanks.

Same rank, but not yet due for retirement.

And also it is not about seniority, because if was seniority a Yoruba man, Lt Gen. Adeosun would have taken over from Lt Gen. Tukur

The Chief of Air staff and The Chief of Defense Staff are from southern part of Nigeria while, The Chief of Naval staff is from the North, so Chief of Army staff would be reserved for someone in the North, even if the top 10 highest ranking officers are from the south.

Seriously There's Nothing Like Tribalism; All The Candidates From The 36States Were Shortlisted; So I See No Reason Why U Guys Should Be Exchanging Words With Each other About Tribe & Religion; If U Were Shortlisted Whether Merit Or Otherwise, I Say A Big Congrats To U Because Some People Have Connections Yet They Weren't Shortlisted And If U're Not Shortlisted Please Deal With It, It's Not A Do Or Die Affair.. Besides, How Much NAF Dey Pain Sef? Highest 200-250K Plus The Immunity, That's All.. Come To Exxon Mobil, Schlumberger, Total, NNPC, Shell etc & See How Someone Is Making 600K Monthly Just As Contract Staff Ooh!!! Plus All The Allawee; So NAF Is Not The Only Job That Pays OK.. Take A Chill Pill & Be Happy!!! Akuna Matata

You can't compare all those offers with working in the Military. The prestige is there. And there is no how a contract staff can make up to 600k in a month. That is an overstatement. Remember that most company are retrenching and cutting their staff's take home pay. I agree with you if you say we should be contented with what we have, but saying that blah blah.... MBA

Alhamdulillah that I didn't go more than the first stage. We should all thank God. It reminds me of the NNPC 2012 recruitment. Despite all I went through then, fortunately for me then I got to the final stage, but I didn't get the job. I can't imagine myself going through more than that stress and not finally getting this Airforce job. In fact am so happy being screened out this stage. If plan A doesn't work then plan B would by God's Grace. God has better plans for us. Not making it to The Nigerian Airforce is not the end of the world. Alhamdulillah once again.

Travel / Re: Abuja-Kaduna High Speed Railway Is Ready by Olamadueke(m): 5:01pm On Jun 18, 2016
Ballotelle:
during d the testrun d train moved at 80km/hr but it has a max design speed of 120km/hr, which in reality when operation starts it would probably travel at 100km/hr.. it has beautiful stations ,but i fault the locations of d stations, like not passing through major developed routes,it wd take time for development to get there, again the final station at rigasa should have been d old narrow gauge station in kaduna... all said and done, something as been done, lets see how it goes. atall atall na him bad

You have said it all. Just that you need to know that Railways are usually far away from where people stay. Houses are built one after the other till every where close the track becomes densely populated. Any Railway line you are seeing has been laid far before any house or building you are seeing around
