Hello,

My fellow Nigerian abroad or in Nigeria. I just want to quickly comment on the Nigerian Bank registration in Atlanta Georgia. I want to appeal to all the readers here that please help us to spread this information. I called GTbank several time and they told me that BVN registration has started at 918 Holcomb bridge, Roswell in Atlanta Georgia, This is a blatant lies, I went there today, I drove for good 8 hours to this location, this building is empty, except for the hiring agent that is using the first floor. Please let them hear, from CBN governor to the Nigerians law makers, why are they lying. I later called GTbank all what they can tell me is to visit Ooisservices and book appointment. please ask them with who, they do not even have a physical location. did they think USA is just like Nigeria where you can go to people's house for O wan be, please CBN and Nigeria government do something.

I think its a disgrace but unfortunately cuts across most institutions in Nigeria.

I think it is a Noble cause for the Alumni to pursue and other Alumnus could think of same for their former institutions. But honestly any right thinking institution should be able to do this on their own.
You are absolutely right. Thank you so much for your honest contribution
Education / Can You Beleive this? The Polytechnic Ibadan In Nigeria Don't have a phone line by olamide1: 9:27pm On Mar 17, 2015
Hello my fellow Nigerian,

I know it will be hard to believe that The polytechnic Ibadan do not have a phone in which you can reach them. The same thing with their emails. if you doubt this information send them an email this month of March and see if they will reply by December. I became curious when I had to call this school from abroad, non of their phone was working even up till date, I sent them an email, last year January 2014, they replied to my urgent message this year 2015 March. Please where on earth and in this milky way a school will not have a working phone or email. Please for all the concerns students and Alumni please, we need to help this school to buy at least 3 line and fund it for a year if possible. If you are interested in supporting this campus pls contact me. I will call you.

Thank you

Good afternoon my friends and families on Nairaland, I was a student of The Polytechnic Ibadan. I was in Eruwa Campus during 1997-year 2000. And I did my HND in Main Campus. I graduated in the year 2004. Please I really need anybody on here that can help me with either old or new Business Admin, or Business Studies syllabus, Especially the Principal of Economic and Business law, and I will really appreciate it if you can scan and send it to my email (omotundeluv1@yahoo.com, oiomotunde@valdosta.edu). I need this syllabus because OYINBO's are making me to retake all these courses that I have done before and they request for the copy of my syllabus and I am paying a lot to retake them. I can still remember that Mr Farayola was our HOD, Baba Law for Business Law and Baba Bimfo for Data Processing. please I will really appreciate your help. Much love. Of the greatest gbogbo......Thank u.

Car Talk / Re: Reliable & Fuel Efficient Mid-size Suv/crossover by olamide1: 6:37pm On Sep 06, 2014
learned0007: Hello Guys,

I am at crossroads and I need some advise here. I intend buying a tokunbo 4WD mid-size SUV / Crossover but I am yet to decide.

My budget is between 2.5 $ 2.8 million naira and the major factors that will determine my choice are - reliability & fuel efficiency.
A 4 cylinder would be ideal but a V6 can also be considered.

I know there are several options (Honda CR-V, Toyota Rav4, Hyundai Tucson/ix35, Nissan Xtrail/Rogue, Kia Spotage etc) but I would prefer suggestions based on personal experience on model type and year that has served you well. I have read a lot of reviews online but they all point to the fact that even new cars can have issues anytime which makes it difficult to decide on which to buy.

Over to you.... any suggestions with reasons would be appreciated.

Hello, my brother how are you today? The best will be Honda CR-V, but if you want to consider another car, I have 2006 Honda Pilot that I want to sell and 2004 Toyota Corolla, if you are interested you can email me on omotundeluv1@yahoo.com. I live in Georgia in U.S. I will send my phone number to your email whenever you want to discuss with me.

n9jaboy: Please how do i get to philadelphia from abuja. Am planning a medical trip. Will appreciate info on cost, cheapest option. Regards
You have to fly to New York or New Jersy, those two state are the closest to Philadelphia. for cheap flight for me try Qatar airline. Buy it in advance or Delta/KLM they are cheap but they will have to connect in Netherland. Good luck or if you have someone over here. it will be cheap to buy it for you. But most of the flight will stop in Houston especially Qatar but Delta or KLM will take you to New York in JFK

Dewze:

Are there no other charges involved, like handling fees and other percentage charges made on the total transaction cost?

depending on what you are buying. this is from my shipping agent " There is a flat rate of $40 to Lagos and $60 outside Lagos for an item less than 10lbs which is the minimum weight while some items such as Laptop, Television set and vitamins attract additional $30.00, $60.00 and $65.00 customs clearing charge respectively." your items will be deliver to your house. but if you are not buying electronics all these charges will not apply to you. check any shipping agency it is all the same. you can also go to NACHO in Lagos and find out.

Thank you

dsunmade: How much does your agent charge for shipping?

They charge per pounds ($5/lbs). My own business is to help you to buy, and ensure that it is shipped to the address where you want it to be shipped to. My fee is $50 per service for buying goods. The fee is different for buying cars because of driving to the location of the cars and taking them to the port.
