You should have include your son. You son would have serve as a strong home tie.

The V.O knew your age is beyond B.sc, knowing fully well that you might have done a first degree here in nigeria.

I will advise you to re&apply again and add your son.

@JejeIsLife, if I include him should i take him with me or bring his picture to the embassy?

Good morning sir/ma, please I made some post but nobody respond to it, I applied for b1/b2 around Nov/Dec 2012 and was denied, also f1 in 2015-2016 denied twice, since then i have been working with one institution and now I want reapply, am an OND holder till now, and the f1 visa was denied because the VO asked for my result from my precious school but I presented statement of result because my result have not ready then but i did not told the VO that it is statement of result and he asked once again, can I see your result which I ask him if he's asking for my SAT,GRE etc test and i told him why i don't do that and he said yes he knows and he's not asking for TA , GA or RA, and I ask if he's asking for result from my precious school and he said yes can I see that ? At this stage I don't know what going on with me maybe fears, I just say have already gave you.. And he said ''oh okay'' I know at that stage he has made up of his mind and he ask about who is sponsoring me and I said my father he has a total of $120k+ worth in his acct and my school fee then is $20k yearly. After that he denied me. Please this time what will be your advice please? I got admitted for spring2020 at WVSU

UG? Then you're exempted from writing the RA/TA test. Defer your admission and write the October edition of SAT.
Don't you forget to read the approved and denied visa transcripts here. RA/TA means Research & Teaching Assistanships

olandex, I also visited three times cry cry I was the one telling my folks that I should defer till fall 2016, 'cos I knew my PROBLEM, GA,TA, and RA are not exams but positions given to students(serious ones) who show intent for such, I think u were a victim of misinformation from quarters that u shouldn't have visited at the first place, Bros packaging and conviction are so very important if u ever want to enter the united states, someone told me here that if I get my visa using my cousin as my sponsor he would duff his hat for me, I knew that was my problem and I worked towards it, go and write atleast two standardised tests, know more about your field of study, ur department, ur school and the town in which it situated, contact ur department for professors willing to take u as his/her research assistant....bros GOD would definitely see u through no short cut t greatness cos it doesnt last....peace
thanks bro

Sorry for the denial. MS students in Computer Science can be offered Teaching and
Research
Assistantships.
1. In your case, no test was written, not even RA & TA.

2. No cogent reason for choosing the school. Your reasons of choosing the school dance around your uncle. Why not go for an extensive research on what this school will offer you. The transcripts jere are not just for record keeping. Read transcripts.

3. Why this course? Tell, the VO how the course will help you in your home country when you return after studies. Like saying you will stand a higher ground in taking over the position of IT Consultant in your dad's coy.
sorry am undergraduate student from polytechnic and am going for my undergraduate course in USA as a transfer student

. Sorry brother!..God is your strength! He'll replenish your effort with testimonies!.
But I must say, you weren't confident infront of the VO and the VO saw that you knew nothing about what you're going to do in the US. I see your reasons for choosing the school crawling around your uncle's opinion and you also gave the biography, mission and vision of the school as your reason..Why not talk about the student-faculty ratio, A particular course/subject that triggers your decision, The prof you intended to work with/ any prof that his/her researches invigorates your decision in choosing the school. I think The VO actually tested your intellectuality by asking if you took a RA , GA test!. The standard test (TOEFL, GRE , SAT) is part of the application package that seal a GA/ TA for you apart from other TA/GA forms you fill..

Pls don't be desperate and never appear at the embassy for now!..Just defer your admission, look at the incomplete documents you have and tryna make it extra-complete..write standardize test if you haven't (GRE preferably), write it even your school doesn't demand it.. And work on your confidence..
No hope is lost I believe
thank you so much, but please wat is the meaning of TA GA EXAM please

i don't know why we never listen and take simple advice / instructions.

only lazy students like shortcuts and never want to write standardized tests. writing it gives you confidence to face the embassy as a student and also it makes the vo see you as a serious minded students cos all students must write exams to show yourself approved.

we should try and give ourselves respect and dignify Nigerian students. the N31200 times i don't know how many times you've been denied can pay for TOEFL and GRE comfortably with change.

if i am the VO i will NEVER grant your visa and moreover your transcript is not very complete because you are concealing a lot of information.

no standardized exams = POTENTIAL MIGRANT to most VOs.

brother.. go write a standardized test.. if you no get sense there are plenty places to lend from ..this thread is one.

but he told me that not TOEFL, SAT, GRE, he asked me if I wrote RA, TA and i don't understand the kind of that exam I never heard it before pls

Hi there!

I would like to advise not to be in a hurry to hit the embassy. You need a lot of grooming on how to answer visa interview questions.

You should be more explanatory on the questions.
I'm also not sure you wrote any standardised exam(s), not good at all, especially that you have a lower credit in your National Diploma.

With all due respect, I hope you don't speak the way you write. As the son of a doctor im sure the VO will expect a lot better from you.

Please write some standard exams and have good scores... Do Not Go for another interview without them. Seek professional help too if you have to and read up on previous thread in this forum.

I know I havnt covered everything about you, others will hopefully contribute.

It's gonna be your 3rd attempt at the embassy, make it count!!!

#BlessYou

There are, in essence, two types of 221(g) cases:
1. “administrative processing”, in which a clearance or approval is required from an interested agency or agencies
2. Post-related, in which the consular officer requires additional time, information, or documentation before making a final visa decision.
and also what color of paper the person gave to you?
yellow, and I think they said they can't find my application now, and they asked me to come back coming week. I it's network problem
Or pls what do you think?
