Please if you have done this before can you kindly help me prepare for how to approach the code defense and the oral interviews. I read a while back that there was a whatsapp group, if it still exists can I be added by the mod. What's too expect?

When is the date of the Interview..?

You will actually be sent a coding challenge question few days to the Interview and you will be instructed to submit online. So at the code defense, u will explain how you arrived at ur codes. So make sure u understand every bit of what you submit.

The Oral interview is like an interactive section where they present scenarios to you and ask what'll be ur actions to such.
The first question would be: " Can we meet you ?"
The oral interview isnt a technical or programming test at all.
Lastly, be sure to read up the section of the home study dedicated to Andela Epic values.

Pls experts in the house, Im conversant with python, reason being its very interactive and is on my system...
bh cant wrap my head round JavaScript, the basic JS course on codeacademy is jx scratching the surface..despite having done it, im not comfortable wth JS programming....though im very ok with JQ library.

My questns are
1. Im confused rite nw, what direction shud i head as per JS as relates to andela, is it general JS or any of the numerous application specific JS

2. Is it possible to set up JS on windows jx like python?

3. Where do u recommend i learn the necessary JS apart from codeacademy which hasn't helped me much in general JS.

1. Try out the andela study materials on JS. Make sure you learn ES6( latest version on js)

2.Node Js does that. But there could be other ways too..

3. Same as 1.

This statement is too ambiguous. What are the supporting documents? Is there a list? Do they expect us to send in "Original hard copies" of our certificates? Does the May 22nd deadline include the Transcript as well, since it is mentioned AFTER stating the deadline.

Can someone in the house please throw more light on this issues. Probably someone currently doing Masters in the Uni.

Me four , looking forward to seeing you guys there. Anyway, there are some things i want to confirm. From my understanding of the mail, campus-based self-learning clinic starts Monday 8th, followed by 3 days home-based self-learning (9-11th) and then one full day (Friday 12th) on campus focused on building software products in teams and selection of participants into week two (15th-19th) of boot-camp. Any contrary opinions?

just continue with the test; no new one was sent to me and the questions for last cycle was identical to this cycle in my case

And in this on going cycle, u continued with that unfinished test?

i think i now know where the problem is!
All this while, i have been using the proctor test for my last application(cycle xx). Andela never sent me a new proctor test for this XXII cycle.

Please as someone that has once applied to Andela before, should i continue with the proctor test i was unable to complete during my previous application (cycle XX) or i am supposed to receive a new proctor test for the present cycle.

i need to get this clear first before further troubleshooting...
