Hi guys, i have been reading about this topic and forum for sometime and my wife shared some before we had our baby in Texas. But what surprises is that people hardly talk about midwife birthing and i wonder why. Midwife or Water birthing is cheaper for non complicated pregnancy, non first borns etc The good thing about it is the midwife clinics are linked to some specialist hospitals incase anything happens but you only use it if you are sure your pregnancy is not complicated. My wife did not use it because pregnancy was complicated but had wholesome information while trying to look for something cheaper but the hospital we used was quit ok in terms of price. My advise for those having babies abroad, have seen threads where people say no need to carry out test due to cost, PLEASE!!!!!!! DO THE TEST, what is the point of spending $7,000 to give birth and you cannot do a $150 test? or what is the point of having the child under sophisticated equipment and you bring the child to naija to come fix hearing problem or jaundice or any other child birth issues, when the child can even be fully attended to. Infact once you child is fully registered as a US citizen he begins to enjoy benefits. SO HELP YOUR CHILD AND HELP YOURSELF. Cheers.... 3 Likes |

YETI28: you can go with her if you want, but you might not be allowed in since you are not apply. Add a copy of your visa to her application and let her state in her application she's going with you and that you already have a visa. Give her al supporting documents. make sure what you used in obtaining your own visa tallys with hers. eg Hotel or Accommodation plans, state in extra explanation that you are footing the bills etc... this should do it and also let them know why she's going with you and what she does currently. Above all keep a positive mind. It's never a one way shot atimes. cheers 1 Like |
