Despite apparent bad government in the state, no Igbo man from Abia State will ever be ashamed to say that he's from the state.

The reason is simple: They have technical and trading skills that drive the entire SS/SE regions.

You have no idea how far people travel to buy things from Aba and return to resell in their respective states. They don't depend on the government; they just do stuff for themselves.

People like you are the reason IGBO leaders decided to loot the resources meant for infrastructural development in the EAST. The Abia you are talking about is no longer what it used to be. Those business men and women who troop in to buy stuffs some years back, no longer come to Abia. This is due to the fake and substandard products they make. Aba made products no longer sell in other states.

Every business man in Aba will tell you that, there is no money in Aba like before. And the insecurity in Abia is another reason bussiness men from other states no longer come to Aba. That's why most people from Abia are relocating to either the NORTH or WEST in search of greener pasture. I also relocate from Aba few years ago and I'm glad I did.

Our Igbo Governors, Senators, Rep Members, Local government chairmen and other polical office holders are the real parasite in this Country. They only loot funds which are meant for projects in the South East.

I'm from East but, I'm always ashamed to go to my state. The Roads are bad, no water, no infrastructure, insecurity everywhere in the EAST. The list are endless.

Kaduna state is almost the size of the entire South East both in population and land mass. I'm also pretty sure federal internal revenue from Kaduna state is also ranked higher than any state in the East.

Fed allocation of the entire South East is almost 5 times that of Kaduna.

Ask a South Easterner what their govs are doing with the states' resources, he will rather insult you down to your forefather and start asking you what are Northerners doing with their own.

Show them what the Northerners have done so far, despite the gross inequality in fed allocation, they start telling you "our oyel money".

Last time I checked, only SS states are the oil producing states.

Then the question again, what are you doing with your share of the "oyel money"? Another insult sets in again.
