Question is, can I pay through d Form A thingy, like paying into d blocked account? Secondly, please does anyone have any idea what to expect in such a room? Lastly, anyone going to FAU? Abeg make we relate o..

My pleasure. Btw the interview was successful thankfully. Read up on your course structure, the modules you'd take particularly core courses, but also a number of electives. Know the number of countries that surround Germany and be able to list all; know the 16 lander (federal states in germany); be prepared to state the link btw what you studied in undergrad/ your relevant work experience with the course you're going to study in germany; they will ask if you'd be comming back o *ghen ghen* (better talk truth o ..highest if you nor de come back yarn dem say you go continue to PhD); they will also ask you general questions about the city where your school is; population of germany; who is the president (nor go dull yourself like baba one chance o ...president na joachim gaucke and not angela merkel. The latter is the chancellor). Then one or two other relatively easy questions.

Bon chance!
Lolz! Thank you very much. I have been reading about these stuffs. Were u asked to talk about ur courses? And is d interview still being conducted over d phone or u entered d office?

cant you read between the lines.
Well....you are correct. I just left Access bank now. Initially d lady at the front desk said it is not possible. I insisted that as a student it is possible with my admission letter and other evidences. She later directed me to the Assistant branch Manager. The AM confirmed that it can be done and gave me the guideline and all the possible charges. So I opened an account with them and collected the A Form. I am waiting to get the complete amount to lodge into the account.

Guys, calm down and approach any Union bank branch close to you....I had a terrible experience back then trying to avoid all this forex fluctuations and wanted to do personal transaction with a guy in Germany through the help of a friend here......long story short, I lost a 1,000,000:00naira to the scam.....never do your transactions through illegal means......please approach the bank and there will be legal proof of all your transactions...... I eventually made my transfer back then through Union Bank branch without any need to open a domiciliary account.... They demanded for just a saving account and will debit the equivalent amount from that savings naira account and credit your Deutsche bank account in Germany at the prevailing bank rate of the day of transaction..... The charges also will be taken in naira from the savings account..... The form A works and to me is even cheaper than using domiciliary account which you have to fund urself buying from aboki at higher rates.....I hope it is helpful..... I wish you all the best.....please don't trust anyone with your money oooo.....do a legal transaction..... Ciao.
Danke! you have been most helpful. I like people giving their personal experience instead of giving unproven or hearsay theories.

that is not true. you can credit your block account directly from the bank. request for form A , go along with your copy of passport data page, your nysc cert, your degree cert, your blocked account details, print the info for student visa on the german website because it shows that you should fund ur blocked account with a minimum of 7980 for student visa(that is the proof you need to show for the tranfer of the blocked money which is for ur lliving expenses),purpose of tranfer- lliving expenses for visa write a letter of the bank authorizing them to debit ur account for the equivalent naira of the euro you want to send. shikena grin. they will gladly tranfer it for you
Please which bank does it? I have been to some banks, they said they can only do the transfer if am paying for school fees.

for those who wants to buy euro, go to bank and not bureau de change. it is cheaper in bank try access bank
Banks dont sell. I have been to several banks and the story is the same. the best they can do is to sell some amount to u if you have ur visa and flight ticket and u hold an account with them.

One click found the E-mail contact form.
You could have done this!

Oh man! I saw this, but I was hoping they will have a direct mail address one could contact them with without having to go through the contact form. I have never liked using contact forms, cos most organizations dont usually respond to queries sent through contact forms. All the same thank you.

Hello house! Please I need to ascertain if one can be interviewed at the Consulate without having deposited the 7908 EUR into the blocked account. If Yes, how many days or weeks of grace do you have to deposit it? and if No, what is the implication? will your application be rejected instantly? thanks for ur anticipated responds.
