Oh thank you very much... such an insightful idea... I guess I don't need to worry about my career.

And don't me wrong... I am not looking to 'import' someone here... only interested in people already living here.
The Nigerian community in my city is not very strong yet. I recognize the "African" in men, but ladies got tok much make-up on... you can't tell the difference.

Inemobot: Where may i buy this smartwatch in nigeria?

@Inemobot i got mine from www.regalbuyer.com .
I think they are still new so they delivered the next morning lol...
that was how jumia and konga were before they blew up... now you don't get your stuff until a week + later...

I got my watch yesterday... you require internet though to make it work first time cos you have download compatibility apps and upgrade the watch's firmware....
It's really cool when you install a lot of apps on the phone... you can do a lot of phone stuff remotely...

i can't wait for the next iteration... definitely getting the smart watch 3

Jobs/Vacancies / Telecoms Career Path by ologbodudu(m): 9:06am On Mar 24, 2013
Hi all,

I currently work in the Banking sector.
I'm in IT. Been there for 5 years and I think it is time to move on to another industry.

I'm definitely in for the Telecoms industry. Can anyone give me pointers to what kind of certification I can get that would boost my chances of penetrating that industry?

Thanx

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Gtbank Interview Format by ologbodudu(m): 10:30am On Aug 15, 2007
thanks to everybody who replied my post. i just read everything. i've not been online for a while. anyway, i made it and am on my way to training school. grin grin grin
i am starting on monday, another batch will be starting in a few weeks.
so to anyone who passed the second test, good luck. your cv should contain only things you can defend. there's a new thing they do now, a chat after the interview, just to know where you fit before you go for medicals.
i wish you all good luck in the process.

Music/Radio / Re: 'No More' Video by Genevieve Nnaji by ologbodudu(m): 11:05am On Nov 14, 2005
it really is sad. i mean what is it in that song that people can even tolerate. ok, maybe the message (no more domestic violence) is a nice one cool. guys gotta stop hitting their girls and wives. but aside that, it's just a load of crap and more crap.
u guys are just being blinded by the fact that she's genevieve and she's already loved by you. if the song had been by a newbie, y'all wouldn't say it was so cool because is isn't

sentiments only is what makes u all like the song and if y'all blind to see that, maybe i shouldn't even bother reading this particular post
TV/Movies / Re: Doctors Quarters (DQ) on DSTV by ologbodudu(m): 7:16am On Nov 13, 2005
really nice. it's a lot better than most of the othher nigerian soaps, my only problem is that some characters are not down-to-earth and seem fake (especially the "tushboy" with the afro)
all in all, i gotta say, it rocks.
i try not to miss it, Sammy is my fav cool cool cool

i heard kate henshaw will no longer be a part of the show, she was thrown out for causing trouble on the set sad
Music/Radio / Re: 'No More' Video by Genevieve Nnaji by ologbodudu(m): 7:08am On Nov 13, 2005
i think the song was very lame, her voice, the lyrics and the whole freaking concept!!!
the video was ok though, it showed a lot of girls and that was all there was to it.

it was just another ill-informed attempt by a actor/actress to stay in the lime light by resorting to singing (which she really didn't, she was just boring me with about 5 min of crap)

music africa, please review the kind of songs you play

i've always liked comparing stuff.  cool

i know you ladies are going to hate me for this but here are examples:

q: what's the difference between your dog and your wife?
a: the dog shuts up once you let it in

q: what's the difference between a male and a female "snowman"?
a: snow balls
if you don't hate me yet, you can post your comparisons too
