[b]On the night of Friday the 30th of Oct 2009, A masters degree student of the department of architecture, university of Lagos Nigeria- 'Jide Pinhero was beaten to an unconscious state by 2 fellow students of the university- Chijioke Onuoha and Donald Okeke. Chijioke is a 200level student in the department of Political Science. His Mother is a professor in the university, his father a lecturer. Jide who lives with his aged grandmother that he takes care of, went to the popular Moremi hall car park to buy Suya from the suya place, Chijioke popularly called C-Jay and his friend Donald were just back from a drinking spree- Jide turned to observe them; as they were making a scene because they were drunk. Donald accused Jide of looking at his friend C-j asking why he was doing so, he then asked him to kneel down. Jide, confused, refused to do so, causing C-j to beat him up to a near fatal state. Jide has since been admitted into the Health center for major head trauma and bruises to his face, while Chijioke still roams free, as a matter of fact, he was seen today at his faculty preparing to sit for his examinations. The case has been reported to the school authorities, but we suspect some foul play, the Chief security officer, the DSA and many other individuals, believe it was a fight between the two of them. Jide had his head continuously slammed on the road kerb of the Moremi taxi park, he was kicked continuously while he laid on the floor helpless, not raising a finger to fight for his life, as a result, he sustained major injuries, and is suffering from short-term memory loss, he cannot remember being beat up, he just remembers when he was asked to kneel down. The students that witnessed the event saved Jide from death, but were not quick to save him from loosing some of his memory. C-Jay was kept at the security post but was released not long after. He has a track record of violence. Chijioke beat up a boy sometime last year so bad he had his hand amputated, he is a popular rapist and has even beaten up a security officer of the university before. He always gets away because of the high influence his parents especially his mother have. The mother also offered to buy jide a pack of 'sweet sensation's' rice and chicken when she visited Jide at the clinic probably as a bribe. C-j brags about this everyday, saying ''i am a celeb', he is supposed to be in the music industry, and Donald is his music producer. C-jay, is the complete example of a miscreant, a fool, and the son of foolish mother and a densely foolish father. Chijioke Onuoha is and will be forever until he apologizes,and is truly sorry for the grievous crimes that he has committed. His matter can and should be judged by a honest judge and jury. He should be given a decent jail term with hard labour along with his partner and friend- Donald Okeke.[/b] |
