You do not sell your blood because there is money on the table.
The issue is that gas is the cheapest form of energy even with the Ukraine war it is still very cheap which means we will never get a "good price".
There is a fundamental point here. The knowledge of how to exploit gas remains embedded using intellectual property rules etc in countries like Canada, France ,Italy Holland etc. So even if we enter any deals companies from these countries like Shell (the dominant player in NLNG) will still end up taking20-40% of the profit to their home countries. None of the machines or equipment used is made in Nigeria so what exactly is our gain? Money??
At current level of production we would be lucky to see $1 billion in a year after deducting cost or production and the share of foreign partners so even if we were to double production which takes time how much are we talking about?
It is good business for the oil companies and the European businesses that make the pipelines , the compression and reliquification infrastructure but what is our gain really? For me exporting gas is like selling your blood.
Let our experts sit down and do a proper analysis of the figures.

One reason the Chinese are where they are today is their insistence on KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER and or their ability to steal knowledge
In the oil industry we have FPSOs floating off our coasts that cost billions of dollars .These are manufactured in places like France or Korea and listed as Foreign Direct Investment even though not one penny of the manufacturing costs enters a Nigerian Bank.


What we need is KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER not gimmicks
We should agree to sell gas in exchange for knowledge and technology transfer as well as cash .That is more strategic
The war in Ukraine should focus our minds that no one is going to look out for us. Gas is a Geopolitical tool that should be leveraged for strategic advantage not just A FEW DOLLARS MORE

But the one from your junk matters, because in the mail sent to me from the recruitment team I was asked to respond to the consultant. The mail from your spam is the one the consultant sent so I believe that’s the one you are to reply to for rescheduling.

Same here…missed the test due to the fact that it entered my junk message….got a mail from them yesterday that I should reply for rescheduling within the next 48hrs which I did yesterday and I’m yet to get to get a reply from them tho

They even wrote in the message that they suspected that it entered my spam message which could be the reason I didn’t see it ….I’m hopeful they will reply definitely

The money in your personal account is easier to process, however if you’re using your parents account, you’ll need a sponsorship letter from them.
