Jobs/Vacancies / Re: What Graduates Don't Know About N-power Program by OlufunshoBC: 9:47pm On Jul 10, 2016
Many applicant don't really understand what the npower scheme is all about.

Like the name suggest empower, it is a special designed programme to empower Nigerian graduate by boosting their employability and self dependability, through a 2 years paid volunteer programme to aid national development in the area of health, agriculture, education and nationalism.

It is believed that for this two years period, successful applicant would have gained an on the job experience and professionalism in the above aforementioned field. Through which, he or she can stand alone providing a professional service or being hired by a prestigious private or public organisation.

Truly, applicant should be driven by self motivation and passion to contribute to the Nigeria national development.

Hello brother, FAAN did it. Applicants CBT was made known to them just immediately after the test. The score must not be pasted online, but to our various mails. What's the essence of our e-mail accounts with them? Is't to receive regret mail after all we went through? Not talking of the resources, energy n time exerted, i also had to give myself assurance of getting this job. But all hope is not lost though. Still waiting for more list!

12-13 people approximately were offered this job from each state for all the compass... all is well. good luck to all.

Madam, honestly I love your observation and your calculation die but dear, let me correct some things about your calculation and yiur perception because I fink you're not the only one doing the calculation as anxiety wan finish majority of us

Going by wats on net pertaining to upper case and lower case names
Some page carry 9 some 6 and some 8 upper case names , getting the average is like almost 8.
8*997 =7976
Now this made me remember wat an immigration officer told me last week that Nis needs 6000 junior staff post to be filled and he wasn't sure of senior officer i.e o8.

Am not saying the upper case names is sure fir appointment but it's something to still b worried about but am leaving everything in the hand of baba God right now because I can not come and go and kill myself jawe because of Nis

hmmmm... Hope the capitaaals note that names are also reshuffled and not in alphabetical order or states of origin orders... what if the selection will be based on the reshuffled list based on appearance order?

I really doubt there's anything tangible in this upper n lower case use of alphabet.

the only thing that worth paying attention to, is the reshuffling of names. it is not in alphabetical order neither is it by state. so, what is the reshuffling all about?

Oh yeah something big is about to happen. By the way, the Appointment column has been there right from time o.

yes there are new changes on the website. names of candidates for interview has been reshuffled not in alphabetical order or states, some names are now written in capital letters while some are still their usual way, and the appointment is now bold... but the list is still 24700 candidate as usual... I wonder what the changes is all about? we will possibly be clear by Thursday if not tomorrow.
good luck to all

plz oh can somebody tell more details about the scorez

I was not even aware that we are being scored... My interviewer don't even ask me any question. I was only asked to stretch and fold my fingers, walk some feet and confirmed my certificates after which I was asked to leave. I can't even access my chance of being chosen with all that happened. though all my certificate were original and complete.

I don't see them grade me, but there was a form stapled to the online printed invitation letter where my reference number, height and chest measurement were recorded... I was asked to walk some metres, stretch and fold my fingers. No questions asked. And I was able to present all the required documents. I can't really figure out the criteria that will be used for the final shortlist. Good luck to all. rep Osun

thnx....expecti g too by Gods grace.

Physical examination simply means medical examination and not physical training or exercise. The dress code is well stated in the letter and not suite or corporate dress... good luck to all.

ticking the most appealing answers is not always the best...people who answered few but more accurate answers often end up with higher scores. most CBT often rely on accuracy when selecting from a long list of candidates. someone who answered only 40 questions out of 50 and got 38 correctly (38/40*100=95%) may rank higher than someone who answered all 50 but got 42 correctly(42/50 * 100=84%). All the best.

A beg, wen d result go come out self?

I did mine dis morning in Lagos............free advice, don't stress yursef on past questions. Understand d English instruction n move as fast as u can because of tym. Don't waste your time on math, u can always come back to it if your tym is not ova. Logical reasoning is the simplest in my own opinion. As for current affairs, their are different questions for each day............I got ten of dem and confident of 7. Goodluck to the rest who are yet to write#nopressure

[quote author=stepo707 post=32915465]For the conpass 8 it was easy except for current affaird.don't bother looking t that past question because not even one came out.everything was new.the overall time was 50mins.english was 20questions all comprehension and it was easy.you have 25mins for that.
Maths was 10question for 10mins and it was easy but not the normal maths just charts and tables and then mostly ratio.you need to be fast.current affairs was crazy I only knew 3 out of 10 and it was 5mins.question like who did google or so and also who won 100m and 200m race.can't really remember the rest and the last is logical reasoning for 10mins and its very cheap too.
Goodluck to the rest.
Conpass 6 and 3 questions were different and theirs was 30minutes.
Prepare in case they change the questions oh but forget pass questions cos not even one came out[/quote

which 3 of the 10 current affairs questions do you remember
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Nigeria Immigration Service 2015 Recruitment Invitation For Aptitude Test by OlufunshoBC: 6:37am On Apr 21, 2015
