I must confess that I for one gained admission to an MBA program with full funding and I didnt even know what study abroad was until I came in touch with Scholastica16. Took his advice hook line and sinker and it worked for me. Just worthy of note since this same course is the subject of argument here. The positive though is that through this, more light has been shed on the subject and a lot of people can learn from it. There are so many behind the scenes in choosing a school, funding and G.As that are not posted on the pages of school websites and my journey in this same regard for the past couple of months have been very challenging but rewarding. Had to quit my job at some point and focus squarely on my plans. Many of the decisions I took worked for me. I guess everyone just has to find his own path based on different advice from different places. Though I'm known to always aggressively stick my neck out for courses I believe in, which turns out to be cantankerous in effect at times, I think you guys should just maintain a state of halcyon and let's focus on helping others achieve what we have achieved. 8 Likes 1 Share |

obene12: It's good you have someone interested in taking a close look at what you have and who wants to work with you. I would suggest you have a fail safe plan (Though many schools that were considered fail safe have become competitive), but as you work on that, get one with less stringent requirements so you do not put all your eggs in one basket. |

primeson1: Business schools prefer GMAT to GRE especially when you are going for an MBA. But schools defer in their policies so it's better to contact the school directly. |

GucciOluwa: Sorry about this. Many people don't hit their scores at first but they use the first attemp to "learn the trade". You should know your weak points by now and be strategic is attacking them |

ayopaul84: I'm not a regular poster here but I follow it ardently. I also heard about B.Y MAFIT from here and did my GRE and TOEFL registration with them. You can get access to the Magoosh premium account for free and also attend class based lectures for free for about 2 months. I think we need someone on this thread to register with them and attend the classes and give us feedback and if someone is attending already please share your experience. |

Masteret: If you have not yet registered for the test it would be a win/win cos this comes free with your registration fee of N50,000. You are not paying the $160 for the resource. If you have registered already, I am not sure if they can do anything though. Why not call them to ask? |
