Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Why Is Life So Unfair? by Olusea11(m): 11:17pm On Oct 07, 2018
shege45:
Let me tell you guys a brief story.
When i was in secondary school, i was the best student in my class. I was so good that I represented my school in any competition held.

Going to university, i still had that flare. I was still very serious. I read like a mad person , but due to some factors , my gp was really bad in yr 2 and 3. Regardless of the fact that I studied hard. Other years were good but it was unfortunate i came out with a 2.2 degree. If a degrees were to be given according to your level of seriousness, I would have made a first class.

However, i came out of school thinking that atleast its not like 2.2 is a bad result, It’s average. I tried looking for a job, but everywhere says minimum 2.1. I had to settle for a teaching job which i still do now. I have given up on looking for job because everyone says the same thing. 2.2 has made me believe i am no longer intelligent. People in my family, my friends , my colleagues at work all believe that i am intelligent. But my degree tells me otherwise.

Now here is what saddens me. A friend of mine whom i knew i was better than academically back in school posted a picture of a car given to him by his employer. He came out with a 2.1 (p:s he got that job without knowing anyone in the company,he saw it online and applied).Everyone in the department knew how he always passed his exams. Although i am genuinely happy for him, but I am sad for myself. Do employers think that we 2.2 graduates are totally worthless? Coming out with 2.1 is a nice achievement and many people who got it worked really hard for it but many factors can make a bright student come out with 2.2. I have been teaching for three years now and I sometimes ask myself, would I continue like this? I don’t want to be like some of my colleagues who are way older than i am and still teaching. I am 25.

An advice to people in universities. Do any thing you can to come out with a 2.1. Don’t let that no job thing fool you. Read , cheat or buy 2.1, but do whatever it takes to come out with it. Get it first then listen to the no job story because your story can actually change with it. As for 2.2, there is actually no job unless you have somebody somewhere.

Bro, take heart.. I graduated with 2:1 but I don't have a job

Business / Re: My Terrible Experience With Multilevel Marketing In Nigeria by Olusea11(m): 1:04pm On May 20, 2016
blazingcash:

Well there is no gain saying the fact that a lot of Nigerians have had their own often bitter experiences with the whole network marketing saga.

But World's richest billionaire, Bill Gates said "if i would be given a chance to start all over again, i would choose NETWORK MARKETING" meaning even if you take all his billions today, with network marketing he will bounce back to be world's richest man again. How inspiring!!! If you must know, network marketing is the reason why Bill sleeps and wakes up everyday $4 million richer, doing nothing.

That is to tell you that regardless your opinions, network marketing is the koko when it comes to financial freedom. Now, I respect your skepticism though about this particular business concept, and why most Nigerians don't want to have anything to do with anything that appears to be like a networking stuff, or like they put it "MLM" (even if the scheme is only wearing the monkey jacket of networking, most Nigerians immediately take to their heels) taking cognizance of your respective experiences, but i will like to ask you this question - does the fact that cars are prone to having accidents stop you from buying one if you have the money? Like in debates that year, 'i leave that question for my opponents to answer' lol.

Friends the truth is, if you really want to experience a difference in something, you just have to try out something new because like the popular adage goes "you can't expect to have a different result when you keep doing the same thing" or however it is put..lol.

But what I'm trying to buttress here is that in a network marketing system, you work with people and like Pam Moore said "you can never go wrong by investing in communities and the human beings within them". In every network of people, your success is assured by the joint effort of everybody which is so much better because personally i would love to earn 1% of everybody's effort than 100% of my own effort. I don't know about you but that's what i would prefer and i think you should. Networking and investment always go pari pasu, meaning haven created a network, there has to be an investment into that network, which is but a token to what you stand to gain back in a matter of time.

Network marketing really is what we all need to get to that status where every person in the system is financially independent as a result of the joint efforts of team members.

Now let's look at the statistics, 75% of America's economy is composed of small and medium scale enterprises which are a small network of people serving as a feeder matrix for the bigger dogs. Lemme not get too technical here, but basically that is why till tomorrow America's economy will remain strong because the cash flow in her system circulates within people, unlike here in our beloved country where some persons are ontop of the bullion van while others are.... Well you know the rest...lol.

Now upon my critical observations over time, you will realise that the most parts of the complains about network marketing comes from networks which often time are engaged in the buying and selling of products. Although am not condemning here, but the reality is that when members cannot meet a particular sale volume for the month, you see that they are not given their due reward or worse still are made to retrogress haven attained some level before. And that's the part that's really not cool. And exactly why the complains come.

Another thing is that most Nigerians fail to critically consider and re-consider the sustainability plan of these different networks springing up on a daily. Once the offer seems enticing to them, they just jump on it, without checking to see if the firm has the potential to be sustained over time. Now when the network crashes tomorrow, you see members who fell victims come out to generalize that anything called network marketing is a scam, trying to even poison the minds of those who are interested in trying out a network for themselves, when they have not done their basic fundamental ground work and analysis. I consider such claims totally outrageous. So for me, sustainability is one major thing i look out for before joining any network regardless her enticing offer. And you should too.

Networking in itself isn't such a bad thing to try one out today. All you have to do is ensure you first carry out the basic check of certain criteria. And i can stand to tell you that authoritatively that although there still exist the bad eggs, but not all networks are the same.

I studied chemical engineering uniben, done with nysc (served in rivers state) nd was cds president of my cds group. Still in port Harcourt, I joined a network that has really been a blessing to me and today, some of my cds members and ex president colleagues as well joined in and are making their money for themselves, totally forgotten their days of skepticism. Here, there is no buying and selling of any products whatsoever (because i particularly hated the thought of moving up and down the street trying to market any products) and there is no monthly sale volume you have to meet up with. Also, here, overtaking is very much allowed unlike some networks where you never grow past the person that introduced you, because of their pyramid set up. I personally overtook my upline so i know exactly what I'm talking about. And here, we are a TEAM. As at when i told the principal of the school i served with about the network, she immediately joined and also registered 6 members of her family same day and aside her salary, she's making her cool money too. She even told me of her first alert that she got and i could see the excitement all over her face.

Now I'm not saying all these to try to convince anyone to come join.No. i believe that our lives is a product of the choices we make and that the choices we make today goes a long to shapen our future tomorrow. All networks are not the same, u just have to be in the right one. That's my take. The only difference between a rich and a poor man in our society today is opportunity. Make wise use of the ones that come your way today so you can have a shelter for your future tomorrow. Remember if you don't make up your mind to be at the top, nobody will take you there. and Joining a network today can make the whole process to the top faster for you.

I still get paid. You think its too good to be true, i still get paid,. You join me,we both get paid. And if you don't join me, i still get paid. Because of time and space, You could reach me on 08136639283 so we talk more

like u said we should do more research on mlm b4 condemning...pls what is d name of the mlm company u join
Politics / Re: Gov Dickson Goofed, Bayelsans/ijaws Are Not Lazy by Olusea11(m): 12:27am On May 19, 2016
Ariani:
Btw. DIckson is really a dic-k for spewing such rubbish against his people.

The work of a leader is to inspire his people to greatness, to right all the wrongs in them.

What exactly does Dickson expect to achieve with this public image assassination of his people? For other Nigerians to applaud him as a good leader who failed to inspire his people, and for them(!Nigerians) to join him in bashing his people.

Dickson truly lack brain cells, he is part of the problem and not the solution, if he were wise, nothing stops him from organizing village gatherings in all part of his state, get the help of inspirational leaders, that will table the problems of his people before them, criticize them where needed, and help them see the way forward, Dickson didn't do this, but was quick to rush to the newspaper house to blow hot air. Failed leadership is the bane of Bayelsa, and not lazy people. The history of the world is full of ordinary and docile group of people, that were inspired into achieving great feats by great leaders whose visions were beyond their time, and who found a way to inspire their people into believing in their visions and bringing them into reality.

Dickson of course can't inspire Bayelsa youths to engage in productive ventures, when he was exactly the one that was sharing guns to them to shoot him into power few months ago, he has no credibility and so can't offer sound leadership

Onye ara!

depends on Ur perspectives n how response.. Dickson sentence can challenge them by changing the world that they are not lazy... to b candid Bayesian maybe lazy..if they take Dickson word as a compliment and prove him wrong..

I think that would be better

GEJ: I underestimate Boko haram.
Azazi: PDP is boko haram.
OBJ to GEJ: Tell me truth what do you say is your
reason when i tell you to crush the boko boys
PDP: GMB is the sponsored of boko haram. but no
proof.
Muslim groups: Boko haram is non Islamic
Nigeria Army: we fail to crush away boko haram in 6
years but now will do that in 6 weeks.
NOTE: Boko haram kill more than 15,000 Nigerians
and displayed more than 2,000,000. 3 times more
than the population of Bayelsa.
My take on: if boko haram are killing Bayelsans will
GEJ still underestimate them?
28march is the day
vote wisely
before Nigeria will turn to boko haram republic.
GMB may not be the best, but far better than GEJ.

Politics / FFK Took Over The Real Antecedent Of His Father by Olusea11(m): 8:10pm On Mar 01, 2015
Femi Fani-Kayode took over the real Antecedent of his
Father - S.B. Falegan
By Toyin Akingbade
February 26, 2015. 11:50am
Africa Daily News Magazine.
The pioneer Managing Director/Chief Executive of the
Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria Chief S.B. Falegan the
Atoye of Ado-Ekiti has again blasted Femi Fani-Kayode
son to the late Chief Remi Fani-Fayode for stepping into
his father's shoe
Chief Falegan made this known in his New book "Titled
MY YESTER-YEARS" Page 82-83 read thus
"I wish to mention three or four issues that were hatched
and meant to destroy and eliminate me completely but for
the grace of God . I have written my "Aide - Memoire for
succeeding Managing Director." It is a summary of the
problems of what I underwent in the FMBN and the battle
I waged with a group of political rascal led by CHIEF
REMI FANI-KAYODE who felt that once they were
politicians, the opinions of others did not matter and that
such people should be treated as slaves with no stake ,
and no opinions.
Falegan said apart from the selfish pursuit of greed, and
personal enrichment at the expense of the country by late
Remi Fani-kayode , he listed the incident he experienced
with Late Chief Remi Fani-kayode who almost destroy
my image and to, in fact, kill me.
Chief Remi Fanikayode, a stalwart of the defunct Action
Group under the leadership of late Chief Obafemi Awolowo
and former and former Deputy Governor under the late
Chief Ladoke Akintola's Democratic Party (a break-away
party from the Action Group) and later one of the top
leaders of National Party of Nigeria (NPN) wrote a letter
to me as the Managing Director (FMBN) to lend him
N5million for an unspecified purpose. I took the pain, out
of sheer respect, to write to him to be more specific as to
get the purpose of the loan. I also let him know that the
limit of my authority for mortgage loan was not more
than N1million ; even then, I had to get the Board's
approval before I could exercise that authority. Lastly, I
suggested that he could write the board directly (since
they all belong to the same political party, the NPN) for
assistance and that as thing stood, if the board directed
me to help with specific guidelines relating to my function
within limits of mortgage financing, I would be willing to
help.
After about six months' period of non-communication or
response from him, I saw a petition against me from Chief
Remi Fanikayode sent to my board of Directors and the
federal Minister of Works and Housing, Dr. Wahab
Dosumu. The accusation against me was my refusal to
lend him the money mentioned above. He supported his
accusation against me with spurious allegation that I was
a die-hard UPN party supporter, who should not be
allowed to hold any office under an NPN controlled
government. He went on to falsely accuse me in his
petition to the board and my Minister that I used the
Federal Mortgage bank fund to finance "Ife Stores" at ile
ife, his hometown . " Ife Stores" happens to belong to my
sister, Chief Mrs Bola Adenuga ( nee Bola Falegan now
dead) married to late Prof. Ade Adenuga.
Ironically, this same " Ife Stores" caused a permanent
scar between me and my sister, who out of ignorance and
misinformation, felt I should lend money to her from
FMBN to build " Ife Stores " a purely commercial venture
as against home-loan finance function of FMBN. I took
her to request to a commercial bank in Ibadan where I
provided my personal surety for the loan to finance lfe
Store.
I took two steps immediately I received a copy of Chief
Remi Fanikayode's petition: I went to see Minister of
Works and Housing, Dr. Wahab Dosumu with my letter of
resignation as MD of FMBN. I slated my case before the
Minister. He requested to know my next course of action
and I told him I had my letter of resignation to hand over
to him . To my pleasant surprise , the Minister said to me
" Chief , no you can't resign. One thing you don't know is
that I have enough information about you as a man of
integrity , hardworking and of unalloyed patriotism and
commitment to whatever you do. I have a good report of
you from Mr. Ola Vincent the Governor of Central Bank.
You see this is how the Yorubas destroy themselves and
marginlization themselves from the government so go
back to your work. I have so directed the board orally."
Thereafter I went straight to the board which was
meeting at the time and they welcomed me with subdued
word, to my surprise the board said Chief , don't be too
upset. We in the NPN merely tolerate people like Chief
Fani-Kayode in our party for the spoiling role he had
played in the party. If Fani-kayode can betrayed Baba
Awolowo , we had no cause to trust him.
The Central Bank Governor Mr Ola Vincent later called me
and advised me to take things easy. When the Ooni of Ife,
Oba Okunade Sijuade, Olubuse II called me that he
wanted to bring the two of us together as Nigerian knew
what is happening between us . I did not mince words in
letting Kabiyesi know that I preferred not to mEet with
Chief Remi FaniKayode ever in my life time, otherwise if I
ever stretched my right hand to shake his own, my right
hand would turn into a cutlass and I would cut him to
pieces. Indeed I never met him and I read about his death
and burial in the newspapers.
Chief Samuel Bandele Falegan concluded that going
through Chief Remi Fani-Kayode's rascal antecedents in
the Nigeria Politics during the NPN, Femi Fani-Kayode is
a real son of his father and public should appreciate his
lies otherwise, if Femi FaniKayode could say President
Jonathan government is a bad omen to the country and
thereafter he decamped to the PDP and people can see
him with his re-twisted propaganda taking after his
father's styles
