Thank you very much Ekpotek.
Although I still want to find out about withdrawing as I feel that I didnt put my best foot forward.

Do you know how long it would take to get my passport back? Will it affect my next application as I intend to resubmit immediately( the graduation is mid- July). I really dont want to risk another refusal.

ekpotek:

1. If you have overstayed in Switzerland, the immigration officer in France would have arrested you and place a stamp on your passport and probably you would have been deported. So if this is not the case, you have nothing to worry as it will not affect your application.

2. No. France and Switzerland are part of Schengen countries and you would only be stamped out of Schengen zone when departing from Paris to London. So nothing to worry about that. It is not compulsory that you must filled in all the countries you had visited in the 10 years.

Since you have been refused before, they already have a file on you from your last application and they will certainly refers to it. Everything depends on your present circumstances and ability to convince the ECO of your intention to visit the UK. Good luck.

Hi all, please I need advice in this matter.

I submitted my visa application at the Ikeja centre yesterday. While looking at my documents today, I noticed that I made two mistakes:

1. I was in Switzerland for an internship in 2014 for six months. I was given a 3 months Schengen Visa and when I got to Switzerland I was given a legitimation card (similar to U.K’s BRP) which covered the actual duration of my stay. The mistake I made with this application was that I did not include copies of this legitimation card. This means that the ECO will only see the 3 months Schengen visa. Is there a way for the ECO to know that I had this card? Will they think I overstayed my visa?

2. Also, when I was leaving Switzerland, I went through Paris (stayed in Paris for two days and took a train from Paris to London where I was schooling). I did not include Paris in the section for countries visited in the last 10 years (I forgot) and I have Paris stamp on my passport. Is this a big issue?

Because I was refused a U.K business visa in Oct 2017 because my sponsor(employer) had an overdrawn account and I didn’t add my bank statement (I thought I didn’t have to), I am really worried about these mistakes and I am thinking about withdrawing my application and re-applying immediately. I want to attend my brother’s graduation in mid-July. Is it advisable that I withdraw?

@justwise @ekpotek please help

Ladies without shoes, bags, etc also get battered. So what's your point?
