Hello everyone, please I need some advice on how to go about a UK visit visa for my mom. I'm presently in the UK as a student with my wife. My wife put to bed a couple of days ago and I want my mom to come and help out for a couple of months. I have put some money (1.6mn) into her account in Nigeria since mid-February this year. Should I wait for six months before I apply for her visit visa or is the account ready for use ASAP?

My question is if I and my wife go now how is it possible to bring in my daughter later? I had it is not possible to bring in my daughter afterwards that she can only apply with my wife (her mother). And secondly, how is it possible to go to the UK after the vignette validity expires?

17th Nov 2020 I received my condition offer

7th Dec 2020, i received my unconditional offer after submitting the required documents and passing my credibility interview

14th April 2021 CAS was issued..

15th April 2021 i did my TB test.

Standard VISA application..

29th of April Biometrics

The waiting began, I won't even lie, it wasn't easy, checking my mail every now and then..

18th May 2021 I received two collection mail. I was in Benin, i had to run to Lagos today 19th May, i got to Lagos before 12pm then i dashed to Ikeja to collect it.

When i got home, i nervously opened it, there my VISA was smiling at me.....

I can't fail to appreciate some people here, you all were really helpful...

I did everything myself from admission to Visa application (self-service)
