According to the report, he played the FIFA U-17 Championship in 2001 that means he should either be 16 or 17 then. If I'm not mistaken, that means he was born around 1984/85. And if he's born around 1984/85, then he should just be 31 or 32yrs now. Definitely, if that's the case, his wife should be between 27 to 30. So why would he say his wife and kids are hungry when his wife is still young enough to make money either by hook (business, office work) or by crook (whatever that means)? I also blame him for 'chopping' all his money then.

The guy is definitely not 31 or 32. He should be in his 40s. And that's the disadvantage of those ridiculous age they keep parading as their official (football) age.
This guy didn't make much money cos after playing the under 17 where he shone like a star and was immediately invited to super eagles by coach onigbinde, all has never been well for him, especially his sight problem . I doubt if he played any foreign club. I pity the poor lad.

Abuja Clinics just have structures but with inept hands especially the doctors, they committed a terrible mistake in me that makes me shed tears anytime i remember it but i ve left them to God.
National Hospital have the equipments but without staff to handle them, they don't have specialists in some areas like the neuro, as of when i was i patient there and their nurses are very saucy.
I can go to Federal staff clinic at Idu, their services are good. I hail the management.

Sports / Eagles Will Win Nations Cup, Says Guru Maharaj Ji by omamokta: 1:22pm On Jan 22, 2013
The Spiritual Leader of One Love Family, Sat Guru Maharaj Ji believes the Super Eagles will win the 2013 African Cup of Nations in South Africa.

Speaking during an exclusive interview with Daily Independent’s crew at his Spiritual Village at Ibadan, he lamented that the national team over the years missed the oppourtunity to lift the trophy because lots of things were left on done.

He said: “I cannot be here and that would continue. I have donated the 2013 edition of the Nation’s Cup to Nigeria and they will return with the trophy. At least this team will win the tournament with nothing less than three goals per match. “

“From the spiritual account, they said Jesus died at the age of 33, I commenced my service at the age 33 as Sat Guru of this time, now I have been in Nigeria for 33 years as The Sat Guru Maharaj Ji to save the world, Nigeria is the winner. For performing this feat, I have donated the Nations Cup to Nigeria and this is not changeable.”

However, this cheering pronouncement did not go without stern warning to those who claimed to be spiritualists, religious clerics, sorcerers and crystal ball-gazer he tagged ‘gbomogbomo,’ saying they are in the habit of manipulating the ignorant players with their negative vibrations for monetary gains .

“Throughout the duration of the tournament, the players and their handlers must not smoke or drink any form of alcohol. They should stay away from women and the hotel where they are lodged should be a no go-go area and hence of bound for all visitors” Guru warned.

Politics / Ojukwu’s Siblings Support Emeka (jnr.) Over Ikemba’s Will. by omamokta: 12:30pm On Dec 05, 2012
As is common with the will of prominent people with large estates, the question of who should own or inherit what, after the death of the bread winner might continue to rage, as the Dim Chukwuemeka Ojukwu family now seems torn down the line between the widow, Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu, on one side and the larger members of the Ojukwu family, led by the one of the sons of the late war lord, Emeka (Jnr.), on the other side.

In rejecting the nomination of Bianca as a trustee to the Ojukwu Transport Limited (OTL), as read in the will, the directors of the OTL have argued that the company belonged to late Sir Louis Odumegwu Ojukwu and not the personal property of the late Ikemba.

They thus described Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu as a joker, stressing that she has no stake in the company.

The directors further contended that Bianca could neither claim the company as the controversial will had conferred on her the trusteeship of the company.

Speaking in a phone interview from Boston United states of America one of the directors of OTL, Mr. Ifeukwu Ojukwu said, “Bianca was neither a trustee member nor a director of OTL and it is good to note that OTL is a different property from the things late Ikemba Ojukwu owned and the directorship cannot be transferred through a will.

“I just came back to Nigeria two weeks ago where I attended a meeting of OTL directors and Bianca was not there and she is not even a member of the board of directors so she can not lay claim to that.”

Ifeukwu further noted that all the directors of OTL are in full support of Emeka Ojukwu (Jnr.) as the head of the Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu family, recalling that “his father told me that he (Emeka Jnr.) was his first son and the head of the in the event of his death. So whatever he decides to do we, are behind him and we will support him.”

However, Prof. Sylvester Ojukwu (Debe), another son, has laid claim to headship of the Ojukwu clan, claiming that he is the de facto first son and not Emeka (Jnr.) Debe was conspicuously left out of his father’s will.

However, Ojukwu’s lawyer, Mr. Emeka Onyemelukwe, explained the circumstances surrounding the “omission” of Sylvester in the will.

According to Onyemelukwe, “What happened is that Debe came to Ikemba as a grown adult and said: “Sir, I have come to tell you that my mum said you’re my father. Ojukwu said to him, ‘who is your mother,’ and he said she is late but hailed from Udi in Udi council area of Enugu state.

“He also told the Ikemba that the mother got remarried to a man in a community in Ezeagu council area in the same state before she died but had told him that he (Ojukwu) was his father. He then asked him if she had no brothers or sisters that could traditionally bring and introduce him as the son of their sister sired by him.

“He didn’t even bring a photograph of his mum to guide Ojukwu as a reminder. But he left in the belief that he will come back with his mother’s kinsmen as directed but hadn’t done that till Ojukwu died.”

Meanwhile, Emeka (Jnr.) has taken over the father’s residence in Nnewi, in accordance with the Igbo tradition that the first son would automatically and traditionally inherit his father’s house and compound after death.

Emeka (Jnr.) noted that it was left for his father’s lawyer, who prepared the original will to take action before he (Emeka) would contact his lawyer for any possible litigation.

Similarly, the extended Ojukwu-Muojekwu family has kept mum over the matter, as according to a source, who pleaded anonymity, “the matter is a complicated but very simple if everybody can tell themselves the truth. We knew our brother Ikemba and we knew him as a first class brain who would not want his family name to become a thing of public ridicule.”

But Ojukwu’s lawyer, citing several circumstances and occasions to prove the validity of the will noted that he was the one who prepared it and it was the only will prepared by the late Ikemba. The will was read last weekend by the Chief Registrar and Probate Registrar of Enugu High Court Dennis Ekoh.

At a press conference in Enugu, Onyemelukwe maintained that he had been Ojukwu’s lawyer for many years and that the late Ikemba of Nnewi reposed a lot of confidence in him and told him a lot of things. He faulted the claim by Emeka (Jnr.) that he was not informed of the reading of the will and that he was not known to the family as his father’s lawyer, explaining that he sent three text messages to his three phones on November 26.

He said he also sent messages to the executioner of the will, James Ezike and witness, Mark Ezemba, as well as the other brothers and sisters of Emeka (Jnr) and other children of Dim Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu informing them of the reading of the will by 10 am on November 30.

He said that he possessed the irrevocable power of attorney to register No 7 Forest Crescent in Independence Layout, Enugu, which he did on July 24, 2009, with the Enugu State Ministry of Lands as well as the property at No 20 Cadastral, B9, located at Jabi, Abuja, both of which were given to Bianca.

He also said that he had Ojukwu’s brief and represented him in the Supreme Court matter, Emeka Ojukwu Vs IGP, SSS in suit No: SC/170/2006 when the SSS tried to arrest him during the Obasanjo presidency. He said the late Ikemba declared that he had eight children, namely: Tenni Hamman, (daughter), Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, (Jnr.) (son), Mmegha (Mimi) (daughter), Okigbo (son), Ebele (daughter), Chineme (daughter), Afam (Son) and Nwachukwu (son).

While Tenni Hamman, he said was a girl Ojukwu had with a girlfriend from North-eastern Nigeria, Ebele was sired with one of his earlier wives, Stella Onyeador, while Emeka (Jnr.), Okigbo and Mmegha were from Njideka his Nnofia-born wife, and the children from Bianca.

He explained that it was the reason the codicil, which was meant to correct the flaws in the first will, was enlarged, adding that he was even taken aback that Ojukwu willed his Nnewi house to his first son, Emeka (Jnr.).

According to him, Bianca was instrumental to building the storey building when Ojukwu’s bungalow in the compound got burnt. The mansion was built when Ojukwu was in charge of toll gates during the Abacha regime.

He explained that Emeka (Jnr.) had been hostile to Bianca and that the bitterness manifested during the one-year anniversary of Ojukwu’s death, hence Bianca decision after the anniversary to pack her belongings out of the family house.

“So, it is not true that Ikemba Nnewi only gave Emeka (Jnr.) the Nnewi house in his will. He felt he already had something to sustain him.

“But he gave Bianca the Jabi property and the Enugu property by deed of gift before he died meaning that even if these were included in the will, she inherited them from him before he died.

“There is also no way anybody can take them away from her. He also gave her his cash (money) and personal effects because he felt that after he had trained the other grown up children, he may not be around to train the younger children of Bianca. That is also the reason he felt Bianca should take over his seat at Ojukwu Transport Limited,” Onyemelukwe explained.

@ Ikenna, thanks brother, i wouldnt mind waiting for you to get less busy. Just like you said, i was discussing with a mechanic on saturday, he mentioned the O2 sensor. He said his customer's car had a similar problem and he fixed it by changing the O2 Sensor but the problem is, he is busy as well. It seems people that know how to fix this do not have time. I love this ride and do anything to fix it. It has served me and am still much in love with it.

Of late, i was moving when i heard a beep, it showed a warning on the dash board "ANTI POLLUTION FAULT, which disappeared till about last week when i wanted to travel, it started showing regularly, i went to my mechanic, he serviced the injector, changed the plugs, change oil and filter, timing belt and so on. It stopped for that day, as i was travelling, the check engine sign kept appearing and disappearing, inshort i bought two full tanks of fuel before getting to the east, when i came back to abuja, i went to my mechanic and we went to pit cos am suspecting the exhaust pipe might be leaking, we noticed one of the pots is leaking, which the panel beater fixed but to my suprise, the ANTI POLLUTION FAULT comes on every time my car is started and my fuel is going down fast. Two days ago, i went to a peugeot dealer, after diagonizing the car, they listed alot things to be changed, these are things i ve changed about a week before. From my observation, they are not competent cos i dont see what concerns gear box mounting with ANTI POLLUTION FAULT. Politics / Okada Rider Strips Self Unclad To Evade Arrest by omamokta: 11:39am On Nov 06, 2012
A 38-year-old commercial motorcyclist, Mr. Sunday Udoh, on Monday allegedly stripped himself naked to evade arrest by the law enforcement agents for violating the Lagos State Traffic Law.

Chairman, Lagos State Task Force for Special Offences, Mr. Bayo Sulaiman, told journalists in Lagos that Udoh was conveying a passenger on ACME Road, Ikeja, at about 10am, when the incident happened.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that ACME Road was one of the 475 roads where commercial motorcyclists were restricted from operating by the law.

Governor Babatunde Fashola had on August 2 signed the Lagos Road Traffic Bill into law.

He said that the law was to ensure safety and orderly flow of traffic in the state.

Sulaiman said, “Our enforcement team caught up with Udoh operating on ACME Road this morning. As our patrol vehicle approached him, he jumped off his motorcycle, not minding the safety of his passenger, and stripped himself naked.

“He obviously acted that way to draw public sympathy and evade arrest. But, I can tell you that he is now with us and he will be charged to court tomorrow.”

Sulaiman said that Udoh’s action showed how desperate traffic violators, especially motorcyclists, could behave to escape justice.
The chairman said that his team had recorded similar cases in the past, promising that the task force would not succumb to unnecessary sentiments in enforcing the traffic law.

Sulaiman urged commercial motorcyclists to comply with the provisions of the traffic law and stay off the banned routes.

He said, “We have stepped up our enforcement of the law and we are warning those who intend to violate the law to stay off the banned routes in their own interest.

“We have made a few arrests and seized a good number of motorcycles. We even carry out enforcement in the night. We will not relent in our efforts to sanitise the roads, nothing will stop us.”

The only person from Borno State that is not sympatheitic to BH as far as the elites are concerned right now is SAS, every office holder in the state especially those of them in the national assembly had at one time or the other patronised BH for their services. SAS might have created them but they out grew him and started hunting him, its unfortunate that the hunter has turned to the hunted.

On the part of the senator, he is culpable because he cannot claim he does not know that the suspected terrorist is wanted by the law, for somebody from his house to take the JTF to where the terrorist was hiding shows there is still a serious relationship between the senator or his household with the suspect. This man should say the truth, he is one of them sheilding them, that is why he is always cricticising JTF, remember Sen.Ndume. He was doing same till they caught him. One by one they will be caught, though they might not be tried but at least we are knowing our enemies one by one.

Labahani Usman, the board's Acting Commander General, said they would be held in detention for three days to teach them how to fast.

Personnel of the Hisbah Board have been conducting raids in Kano aimed at arresting Muslims who intentionally refused to observe fasting since the month of Ramadan commenced almost 20 days ago.

Usman said that some of the offenders, who included women, had been arrested in various "hot spots" across the metropolis by the plain cloth personnel of the Hisbah command.

Politics / Re: Between Elechi And Abakaliki Rice Millers by omamokta: 11:29am On Aug 03, 2012
People dont learn from history, Elechi should have asked his SSG (Chief F.O.U Mbam) the reaction he got from rice mill owners led by Chris Nshii (now senator) when he wanted to control the rice mill in 1987/88. Then Chief Mbam was the local governemnt chairman of Abakaliki LGA. The local government built thier own rice mill inside the complex, when the mill owners stopped work, the local government thought they could force the farmers to mill in their own machines but was disappointed when the farmers did not. This was because, these farmers get loans from the mill owners to plant their rice, they will in turn bring these rice after harvest to the millers who will collect their capital after the sell of the harvest and make some money from processing the rice for the farmer. It will be very difficult to relocate Abakaliki rice mill to anywhere in the world.
Politics / Between Elechi And Abakaliki Rice Millers by omamokta: 11:02am On Aug 03, 2012
The Rice Mill Company Nigeria Limited (otherwise called Abakaliki Rice Mill), located in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State capital, is no doubt a reference point in local rice production in Nigeria. Established in 1964, the 100 percent private sector-driven mill, according to data provided by the Abakaliki Rice Mill Owners’ Association, currently boasts of over 5,000 workers – comprising rice millers, rice blowers, rice blenders, rice de-stoners, dust/rice husk carriers, bag stitchers, barrow pushers, loaders, off-loaders, vehicle owners/drivers, mammy market traders, among others – 2,500 rice milling machines, and a sizeable production capacity per day. The mill serves many people from the hinterland areas of the state as well as people from other states who bring their rice to be milled or who come to buy rice. For instance, only recently, the Cross River State government reportedly bought N50 million worth of rice from the mill.

Regrettably, despite the strategic economic importance of the mill, no government has ever found it worthy to make investment there. The only government development effort at the mill over the years is the tarred road constructed by Sam Egwu, former governor of the state, who was compelled by former president Olusegun Obasanjo to do the roads. Obasanjo, on one of his visits to the mill during his tenure as president, was unimpressed by the state of the roads in the mill that he mandated the then state governor to immediately fix the roads.

But recently, purportedly in its bid to boost rice production in the state (and to make Abakaliki one of the cleanest cities in Nigeria), the Martin Elechi administration – likely in collaboration with some private sector interests – constructed three new rice mill clusters in the state – at Iboko in Izzi LGA, Onu Igboji in Ikwo LGA, and Osso Edda in Afikpo South LGA – and gave workers at the Abakaliki Rice Mill up to March 31, 2012 to relocate to either of the three new mills. However, following a protest march to the Government House earlier in the year by the rice millers and their host community and series of negotiations between the management of the rice mill and the state government, the deadline was shifted to May 31, 2012.

Ever since, the workers at the mill have been understandably living in apprehension, never ceasing in their appeal to the government to rescind its decision. But government has stubbornly stuck to its guns, with the grandstanding of Chike Onwe, the state commissioner for Information and State Orientation, that the decision to relocate the rice millers is both irrevocable and irreversible.

The move to boost rice production in the state, it must be stated, is not a bad idea. It is, in fact, in line with the Federal Government’s new agric initiative. Since he assumed office, President Goodluck Jonathan has not ceased to express his administration’s intention to boost agriculture, with great emphasis on rice production. In his Independence Day anniversary broadcast on October 1, 2011, he said, “Self-sufficiency in rice alone will save us the N356 billion that we currently spend annually importing rice.” Also, Akin Adesina, minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, revealed that 500,000 tons of rice is being imported into the country annually, saying, “Now our plan is, by 2013, to reduce that down to zero, which means the 500,000 metric tons of rice would be produced by Nigeria.”

So, the establishment of three new mills in Ebonyi is laudable. However, the faulty part of the whole process is the attempt at forceful relocation of workers at the old mill to the three new ones, which will amount to forceful closure of the already existing mill. There is no doubt that this move will reduce rather than boost rice production in the state. There are hassles involved in the relocation process. Considering that most of the workers at the mill have advanced in age, and considering that the three new mills are located far away from Abakaliki and its suburbs where most of the workers live at present, how many of these workers are likely to be willing to relocate to the new sites? And, if the majority of them refuse to relocate, and the government forcefully closes the old mill to enforce compliance, the government would have created an additional problem – unemployment – besides the apparent shortage of manpower at the new mills. How will that boost production?

Again, government claims that the new mills are mechanised. Good to hear. But, given that operations at the old mill are largely labour-intensive, and it is the same workers who are so used to manual operations that are expected to work with the modern machines, has the government considered how this is going to work? Is there any effort to provide training for the old staff to make them conversant with the new machines? Or is there any arrangement to bring in new operators to man the machines? And, in the event of this, what’s the arrangement for the old workers who would likely be redundant at the new mill?

Furthermore, if the government’s claim that one of its reasons for relocating the workers is that the mill causes environmental pollution is to be believed, then the way out is certainly not to relocate the workers. Why throw away the baby with the bath water (if you’ll permit me that cliché)? There are other ways around it, like legislation. But one is in doubt as to the authenticity of that claim. As an aggrieved worker at the mill said, “We do our monthly clean-up and still observe government’s environmental sanitation exercise. Many of the mill operators live up to 80 or 90 years, we are all strong. If the rice mill was a health hazard, it would not be so.”I reason with him.

No doubt, the dream of making Abakaliki the cleanest city in Nigeria is good, but do you have to create multiple problems in order to solve one? But unfortunately, this is one of the miscalculations of Nigerian governments. Between 2007 and 2011, for instance, Ikedi Ohakim, the then governor of Imo State, destroyed people’s means of livelihood in the pretext that he was making Imo clean through his fraud-infested “Clean and Green Initiative.” In those years, I often asked, “Of what use is it if Owerri is the cleanest city in Nigeria and residents of Owerri are hungry?” Of course, the arrow soon rebounded in the form of rising spate of kidnapping and armed robbery in the state, and Ohakim was caught pants down. This is a lesson for Elechi.

But I suspect that the main reason behind the forceful relocation is that government is afraid the workers may not want to relocate – in which case the new mills would amount to huge waste of public funds, apart from exposing government’s inability for proper planning. If my suspicion is right, then it is indeed a bad omen. It means that the rice millers were not carried along from the outset. If they had been carried along, if the government had consulted properly, perhaps the new mills would not have been necessary in the first place. Maybe the millers would have preferred that the funds be spent on modernising the already existing mill, and then this whole relocation brouhaha wouldn’t have come up at all.

But now that the new mills have been built, here’s what I think. It is possible to run the new mills side by side with the already existing one. There is nothing wrong in having four instead of three rice mills. More likely, the more the mills, the more the rice produced. If the new mills are running at full capacity, and the old mill maintains its present production capacity, we would no doubt have more rice.

So, the government should drop the idea of forceful relocation. Rather, it should use persuasion. Workers who are willing to move should be assisted to move their heavy duty machines to the new sites, and those who are not willing should be left alone. The government should in fact make the new mills more attractive to the millers through provision of amenities. For instance, the old mill has a thriving market, restaurants, warehouses, administrative offices, an automobile servicing centre, a petrol station – Rice Mill Oil – run by the Rice Mill Owners’ Association, among other amenities. The government should provide much more than these at the new mills.

But if the Elechi government insists on forceful relocation – in the manner of a dictator – then I wish him luck. My only fear is that he may be up against a revolt. You do not disrupt people’s legitimate means of survival and expect a friendly pat on your back.

Politics / Bamanga’s Trouble With Aso Rock by omamokta: 11:02am On Aug 01, 2012
Before his current travail as a result of the prosecution of his son along with other alleged fuel subsidy fraudsters, ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) chairman, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur’s sojourn in Wadata House had reportedly been laced with thistles.
Said to be favoured by President Goodluck Jonathan, he emerged chairman of his party on March 24, against the choice of his North-East region Dr. Musa Babayo.
Days to his emergence, the PDP North-East caucus conducted an election to produce a flagbearer for the office since the chairmanship of the party had been zoned to the region. Tukur lost to Dr. Babayo.
But Aso Rock, according to PDP watchers, and prodded by President Jonathan, rallied behind Tukur who was subsequently and unanimously elected National Chairman at the party’s convention which held at the Eagle Square.
But, as our sources said, barely a month after taking over, tension grew between his top aides and the party’s national secretary, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, the former governor of Osun State.
FRESHFACTS’ sources inside Wadata House revealed that animosity and tension still waltzed uncontrolled there.
They said there was no love lost between Tukur’s office and those of other senior national officers of the party sharing the Wadata building with him.
The sources said that following the impeachment threat by Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila of the House of Representatives against President Jonathan, over partial implementation of the 2012 budget, many Aso Rock insiders and PDP stalwarts allegedly suggested to Tukur how to control the feud.
The sources added that Tukur may have had his own style of addressing the issue which did not impress the stalwarts.
Allegedly working with some national officers at the Wadata House, the powerful hawks in Aso Rock reportedly tagged him a disappointment, and tried selling it to the president.
We also learnt that the relationship between him and the president nose-dived.
An Aso Rock insider volunteered: “What did the president not do to support Alhaji Bamanga, but what has he done to help the president? Why was he given all the support he received from us?”
We are reliably told that the president was, therefore, not disposed to saving Tukur’s neck, when he was told that the Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede committee listed Bamanga Tukur’s son as one of the suspected oil thieves via Eterna oil.
A source close to Tukur angrily expressed his disappointment with President Jonathan whom he described as having shot the party in the foot.
“Never has this kind of thing been done to any PDP chairman. If they think they are humiliating the chairman, then they are only disgracing and hurting themselves and our great party. It’s unfortunate.”
Meanwhile, FRESHFACTS reliably learnt that the days of Bamanga Tukur as PDP chairman may already be numbered as Aso Rock hawks, with other party moguls outside government, have begun shopping for a new person for the office.
According to one of the sources, it is to “sanitise our great party and fix a square peg in a square hole. President Jonathan’s transformation agenda is too important for any individual to scuttle. We will partner with a party chairman who will be proactive enough to do what is needed to achieve Mr. President’s party thrust on that.”

Politics / Oyo State Governor, Ajimobi, 15 Aides, On Olympics Jamboree In London by omamokta: 2:21pm On Jul 31, 2012
A few days after the Oyo State government sent wives of state legislators on a wasteful jamboree to the United Kingdom, the executive arm took its turn today, the governor and about 15 commissioners and assistants jetting out on a parallel $250,000 , publicly-funded trip to the Olympics Games.

SaharaReporters learnt that the pretence of the governor, whose state recently suffered a devastating flood that rendered many citizens homeless, is that his team will be hunting for foreign investors at the Olympics.

In real life, the Oyo state contingent will merely be enjoying the Olympics and shopping in London, SaharaReporters was informed.

The governor is a member of the Action Congress Party of Nigeria (ACN), the leading opposition party in Nigeria, which has a sizable following in the Southwest region. The party is often quick to condemn wasteful spending by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ruling elite but typically ducks when its operatives engage in the same level of criminal conduct.

Only today, the ACN publicity secretary, Lai Mohammed, issued a statement asking PDP chairman Bamanga Tukur to resign from office on account of his son's trial for oil subsidy fund fraud, but the party has failed to prevail on the Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Mr. Ikuforiji, who is standing trial before a federal High Court in Lagos for stealing and laundering N500 million, to resign.

Among others, flood is a perennial problem in Oyo State. In just one instance last year, over 100 people were killed. And a few days ago, a temporary wooden bridge in Apete, Ido Local Government Area, was washed away, cutting off several communities.

Critics say that rather than fix these problems, Ajimobi has chosen to idle away in London and burn valuable development funds.

A Political Science teacher at the University of Ibadan told SaharaReporters that Ajimobi has turned out a huge disappointment to the people of Oyo state and that he would not be surprised if citizens soon start saying they preferred former governor, Alao Akala.

"The expectations that Ajimobi was going to improve on governance in Oyo state have been totally dashed,” he said.

“You hardly can see any presence of governance in the state except in ostentatious lifestyles of government officials and senseless jamborees.
