charlesemeka85: Any decent midfielders (attacking midfielders preferably) is welcome because right now we have enough strikers and defenders. All we need is reinforcement in these areas |

I actually want Peseiro out just like I want Tinubu out. We need a coach that can bring out the attacking football in our SE. We need to play beautiful attacking football. And the two coaches that comes to mind are Amunike and Siasia 1 Like |

charlesemeka85: No, he is not. And I dont know what you meant by "more complete." In what sense? Thuram is a top marksman with the requisite height. Lauturo is more skillful but lacks that imposing presence as a striker. If I have the choice to choice between the two who would start as a 9, Thuram would be my first choice. |

charlesemeka85: I feel the same way, too. But Martinez is not a pure 9. Thuram is a classic 9 I guess that's why. But can't take anything away from Arturo Martinez. He plays a different role but definitely not a 9 like Thuram, Osimhen or Haaland 4 Likes 1 Share |

Madu Obi Security operatives have arrested the suspected killers of the President-General of Umuoji Community in Idemili North local government area, Chief Silas Onyima. Onyima was dumped inside his bathtub in his house after he was murdered. Security operatives said the suspects who were believed to be the masterminds of the dastardly act have been tracked and arrested. One of the suspects, an indigene of Ebonyi State, is Onyima’s tenant and he was said to be in possession of the late PGs phones, ATM cards, his gun and so many other items in his house. The suspected killer was said to be a son of the caregiver to Silas Onyima’s late mother who was accommodated in the deceased compound. He was also said to have been withdrawing money from the deceased account before they were nabbed. It was gathered that Onyima had given him quit notice to vacate his premises because of his alleged links with diabolism, which, according to the information, infuriated him and made him to hatch the plan to kill the PG. It was also gathered that the late Onyima had before his death complained to his wife and some of his friends about threats he received from the man. The Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the arrest of some suspects in connection with the murder. The suspects have been taken to the Divisional Police Station in Ogidi for interrogation. The PPRO said the police are already working on the suspects with a view to getting reasonable information from them, adding that at the appropriate time, their identities would be made public. This is how an illustrious son of Umuoji, Ichie Ogidi n'Okodu lost his life to a person he accommodated. Chief Silas Onyima , an accomplished engineer, a fine gentleman who has brought innovative ideas to Umuoji town union was murdered by some persons suspected to be from Ebonyi. Igwulube Okodu will teach these people an unforgettable lesson! |

SyrusdeHansome: You are both ignorant and insensitive to the young man's plight. You want him to give up his life because your government who was supposed to provide him with decent employment failed him and now these wicked Chinese people are exploiting our African brothers. You need to see how stressful this jobs are. These Chinese employers work our people to death! I had a close relative who was doing the same job some years back and they were paying him 8000 naira monthly for a 12 hours shift of which they are required to work 6 days a week. When he told me this I was so angry I wanted to send street boys to that factory and burn it down. To make matters worse, they added Sundays to their working days with same pay. I made him quit the job and started taking care of his financial needs. The conditions these Chinese people employ our people to work in is nothing less than slavery. If I was a governor I will enact a law to protect my citizens health, pay rate. If my people had to work such inhuman hours then must pay them nothing less that 300,000 monthly or I close that slave camp. Our leaders are simply wicked 22 Likes 1 Share |

Balemall: Listen up , I know my Anambra people very well , because by their fruit we shall know them. Your type are littered all over this forum claiming to be Onye Anambra because they know their state doesn't worth a crap. We know you are not from Anambra state. Stop the CAP! I hate dishonest people. You are obviously not from Anambra state because your jealousy gives you out so easily. You claimed Anambra so you can comfortably drag out state without being checked because you know you couldn't confidently compare your state to Anambra and win. You dont have pictures because you have nothing to defend or be proud of. Abia state is 50 years behind Anambra in infrastructures and development. We have the best school system, the best healthcare system and the best country roads in south east and we have receipts to prove it. 2 Likes |

Balemall: Anambra is the smallest state in Nigeria above Lagos , therefore the roads tend to be narrow. Even here in the United states, if you go to a state like Louisiana or Atlanta, Georgia the roads tend to be narrower than Houston, TX due to the size of the land. So , if your definition of infrastructures is based on the numbers of dualized roads then you are quite ignorant. Secondly, you are not from Anambra! 1 Like |

Workch2: Hahaha. I dont know who is doing these ratings but I disagree. I have not seen anything tangible in Abakaliki that will make me to place it over Awka. The areas where these said infrastructures were concentrated in Abakaliki is negligible. The whole intent was to create buzz and never to actually turn the town around. *The bridge was not needed. *The mall was not needed. Its actually empty as we speak. What makes Abakaliki better than Awka is some night pictures with shinning lights. I am embarrassed for people who make these comparisons |

BlackRains: You may not compare Umuahia to Onicha because they serve different purposes. Umuahia is an administrative centre while Onicha is a commerce city. |
Politics / Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Omanambala(m): 9:45pm On Feb 25 |
Balemall: During Obi's administration, Anambra had the best road connectivity in the eastern Nigeria. I will never stop insulting that Aguleri buffoon, Obiano. You don't understand where Anambra was before Obiano took over. Anambra was on the verge of greatness before Obiano took us 10 years back. So many roads were built across the state. Especially in the northern part of the state. Obiano failure created the problems Soludo is facing today |
Politics / Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Omanambala(m): 9:40pm On Feb 25 |
Balemall: Umuahia is not better than Awka with all due respect. Awka has actually left Umuahia behind. Again, Awka has more population growth and economic activities than Umuahia of Abia state with their oil money. So let's put these issues in the proper perspective |
Politics / Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Omanambala(m): 9:37pm On Feb 25 |
Balemall: You may say Onicha and Awka has infrastructural deficit but I don't agree Anambra as a state is below any south eastern state in infrastructural development. That's a big fat lie. Across the state Anambra has better road infrastructures than the rest. |
Politics / Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Omanambala(m): 9:34pm On Feb 25 |
Workch2: I dont get involved in this comparison because I don't want to get into unnecessary arguments with my fellow Igbo but I agree Onicha and Awka are not where they need to be due to incompetence of Obiano. Apart from the fact that Onicha was completely abandoned by Willie Obiano who didn't follow up where Obi left off you have to factor the fact that Onicha and Anambra state is the fastest growing economy in south east which means there has to be an aggressive infrastructural push to even the development trend. My point is that Onicha cant be compared to ABA. Onicha has more pressing problems than Aba but I am not making excuses for Obiano. Obiano failed woefully as a governor. Onicha collapsed under Obiano. As for Awka, I don't know why any informed observer would compare Awka to Owerri and Enugu city. These two towns are some of the oldest capitals ever created and it wont be fair to compare them to Away which was a more recent creation. As for Abakaliki, I disagree with you. I have seen those Abakaliki pictures I found it offensive when compared to Awka. |
