fulani's and their propensity to be inhumanely belligerent. I dont know why i am in the same country with this barbaric humanoids.
they too would LOVE to get their own country and live alone away from others. But at last it is not possible at least not for now.
You know, they just don't get up and decide to kill people. In other parts of West Africa they are often victims of attacks too, the difference
is the Fulanis in Nigeria are armed and can defend themselves, which they should by the way since the government doesn't care about people.
The infuriating thing about this situation is when Fulanis are being killed and their property stolen from them, folks on this forum rejoice and they are happy. Having a short memory, when the retaliation comes, Fulanis are the aggressors.
In this world, one does a great injustice to himself if he isn't armed. No wonder Americans have in their constitution. Fulanis of other parts of West Africa know what it is to be forgiving and unarmed. They are victims of abuse every single day. There too it will go on till the day they get guns and their current aggressors will also cry wolf.
Many here were happy when Fulanis were massacred in Centrafrican Republic.

Well if you would have read my posts you would have known that I put out a warning stating that what I was saying applies to Cameroon only and had no reflections on anyone else, so as not to offend anyone.
Then that's my bad., smiley

Why don't you go back and read why I said that. It is a true fact.
Cameroon was running his/her mouth as usual saying blacks in the diaspora are not Africans, we have no identity, and we are slaves of the white man with no identity and they are Africans. So I said Africa was named by a white man is that what you are proud of?
I get so tired of Africans saying our ancestors were slaves, well guess what your ancestors were slaves also because we share the same ancestors. Don't forget that your ancestors in Africa were sold off into slavery to the Americas. It could have been your great great grandma/grandpa, uncles, aunts, cousins and so on.
Stop the madness.
Ohhh it had something to do with slavery. Well you guys live in the richest country on the planet, I don't get why you would be mad at what Africans say. This saddens me man. There are very few black Americans like you that are interested in Africa. They do face these issues which is unfortunate. But the vast majority of blacks in the diaspora do not want in any way to be associated with Africa so I understand Cam's position. I can't tell the hell Africans had to go through in my high school. From getting jumped after class by a group ,to being bullied for being dark skinned.

The word Yankee was supposed to insult northern Americans just like rednecks is to insult southern Americans. What is the point of your post to me? You should have made this post to the poster who is in denile, which is Cameroon pride.
I think you made a post asking Africans if they are proud of being called Africans, a name given by Europeans.

You have villages, build ranches in your villages what politic of the land you want again ?
For those in villages they do have ranches even if they are in smaller scale. I am obviously talking about the nomads.

The continent. AFRICA
The word Europemcame from the Phoenicians, the word Asia came from the Greek. The word Peul used to describe Fulanis came from the Wolof, the word Yankee originated from the English and it used to an insult to Americans. I can go on and on but the point is, the name of continents and ethnic groups usually come from others.

Nope, I am all for the advancement of the human race. If they love each other then skin color doesn't matter.

I know fulanis don't like to mix with other Africans let alone whites. The only thing I find a lil disturbing is the amount of African women getting married to whites not that is anything wrong with it but too many these days.
Lmbo only a Black person would say such thing, the advancement of the human race lol, this had me dying man. There is no such thing as human race. Funny thing is, black people are the most hated folks on the planet but we preach love more than anyone. This is why they dislike us even more, because we appear weak and desperate for attention from others. Goodness.

Well Halle berry is both black and white so she is not really black even though she is considered as a black woman. Come up with another example
I wonder then how many Black Americans should be classified as black considering they have mixed a lot with whites.

Topic of the day: modern ranch , why is that Fula don't adopt modern ranches and enter the local economy through the use of trucks and trains to move their cattle ?
A more modern milk production is also welcomed
There are many Fulani businessmen in your country, Cameroon that have embraced that. Ahmadou Danpullo , mohammadou Abbo Ousmanou are among them. These guys are the known ones. I am sure there are plenty in Northern Cameroon and throughout west Africa but the nomadic Fulanis are still out there as you know. But i would definitely like them to settle and build ranches. But for that, you need money and you need to play politics for the land of course.

Africans have abandoned aspects of their culture but they still have a very distintic culture.
There are however, lost Africans that are even ashamed of speaking their native language in public. They are a lost case and should not be considered Africans.

Islamic culture is a middle easterner culture
Not just middle eastern since it is shared by people all the way to India, South East Asia. That was the goal, making it global. Having something that people of different cultures can share. Now everyone of those groups have something distinctive. And we all, including Arabs had to abandon part of culture that did not conform with Islam.

Returning to native culture of people living below $4000 for resident and a citizen of world largest economy sound really ridiculous. ..
most Africa society are buying into foreign influencers and cultures. most of what is consider northernern Nigeria culture today are assimilated from North Africa and middle east about 200 years ago through islamization.
most southern Nigeria culture are either influenced by western influence ( south east and south south or islwm influence ( Yoruba Muslim).

it will be better if blacks in America try to assimilate more into capitalist and cooperate America than some Africa cultures that is no longer been practice by Africans
Some aspects of the culture is ISlamic per say not middle Eastern. All Muslims have something in common. But besides that, the music ,the poetry, our metaphysics are different.

I don't want to sound like an ethnic bigot because I love all African people. Most people automatically assumed when I first came to NL that I had superiority complex, but I'm not that kind of guy. I believe that we are all equal.

Where one man can't see, another can see for him. Where one man can't walk another will walk for him.

The so-called "good looks, tall height, etc. etc. all of that can disappear. Alright, you and I may be educated Fulani from Nigeria but compared to other ethnic groups are we the most educated? (I'm not counting Fulani from Guinea or Senegal because I know some of them who are very educated that i have met at Tabital Pulaaku.)
if you mean western education, not as much as the other groups. Part of it is due to the colonial history, I say part of it because now we can fix it. We have the freedom to do so. I remember Lamido Sanusi once said that the British did not promote education in the North of Nigeria because they wanted to avoid forming a progressive Muslim elite as it was the case in Egypt. Muslims knowing the An Nassara's history would have asked for their freedom sooner had they been well educated.
Now, almost all Fulanis and I am sure in Nigeria receive Islamic education. That too is a form of education. But where Northern Nigerians can kill two birds with one stone is promoting learning in Hausa or Fulfulde. You can promote the language and educate the people on a mass scale at the same time. This way, progress will not come at the expense of losing oneself.

The concept of race is very fluid. If they consider themselves to be a different "race" so be it. I can say the Yoruba race or the Zulu race or the Dinka race, or I can lump them all together and use the 'Negroid" race instead. It all depends. The popular races of today, that exist on a global consciousness are all 'Macro-Races"....i.e "White, Black, Asian" -- The deeper you start going into each supposed racial communities, then you would start seeing that things are not supposedly just Black and White, like "Oh, you must be black or White or Asian or Native American".... Even Koreans and Chinese as similar as they seem to be, see themselves as individual "Micro-races" , If I may use that word.
yes if we refine the concept of race as we know it today.
