Politics / Revealed: How Faulty Pvc Readers Paved Way For Apc Victory In Kwara by Omoafonja: 8:19am On Mar 04, 2019
Information has emerged on how the All Progressives Congress(APC) may have won the last presidential and national assembly elections in Kwara State through double voting made possible by faulty PVC card readers.
This follows the revelation out of the 486,254 votes cast in the elections, only 103,000 were validated through card readers. This information emerged over the weekend after INEC headquarters in Abuja downloaded data from the PVC card readers used in Kwara State during the last election.
Analysts say this raises serious doubt about credibility of the election results. The fact that only a quarter of the votes cast involved card readers also suggests that the election outcome is not a true reflection of the will of Kwarans. Said the analyst who craved anonymity.
”This is because not using card readers means that more than 300,000 of the votes cast in the elections were doubtful as they were open to double voting through unverified PVC. It also means the ’Otoge’ movement was not as strong as the APC will like us to think as their presumed victory seems to have been secured through electoral fraud and not through free and fair elections.
Little wonder APC didn't celebrate the election outcome statewide. Indeed, voters in a lot of locations said they saw a lot of strange faces in polling units only to be told that they were people from their communities living outside, largely from Lagos.”
This revelation also shows that despite the false propaganda, the PDP may still be the dominant party in Kwara State and is in a strong position to win next Saturday’s governorship and state assembly elections.
This realisation has put PDP supporters into a victory mood ahead of the Saturday’s elections as it is clear that the party can win the governorship and assembly elections if free and fair.
Already, sources close to the party say all agents have been trained to remain vigilant and ensure only those accredited through card readers vote in the election. This in order to curb double voting and unverified PVC which the above INEC data shows must have taken place in Kwara State during the election. ”It must be made clear that only those whose photos appear on PVC will be allowed to use them. Anyone caught will be apprehended as special security measures has been put in place. The next election must reflect the will of Kwarans.”, said a PDP stakeholder.
Politics / Elections: Kwara Under Siege As Security Agencies Harass State/pdp Officials by Omoafonja: 1:05pm On Feb 22, 2019
There is palpable fear and tension in Kwara State as federal security agencies led by agents of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission ( EFCC), the police and army have invaded the state in a calculated bid to harass the opposition, allegedly based on a script written by leaders of the All Progressive Congress(APC) in the state.
According to usually reliable sources, the alleged APC plan is to harass key leaders of the PDP, especially influential government officials in each of the 16 local government councils with security agencies through intimidation to prevent their participation in the election.
The source revealed that the arrow head of the assault on PDP members is allegedly the EFCC which last Monday embarked on a spate of invitation and arrests of top government officials, in key ministries of the government based on a petition by a faceless group said to be linked to the APC.
As the EFCC onslaught was ongoing, a crack team of police detectives from Abuja led by an ACP also reportedly arrived the state a week before the postponed elections with a list of key PDP members to the arrested on spurious charges and kept out circulation until after Saturday’s elections.
Said the source: Its a gestapo-style operation that is designed by APC stalwarts and executed by police and EFCC officials from Ibadan, the police team from Abuja has begun a clamp-down on PDP stalwarts on flimsy excuses. On Wednesday, seven PDP members were arrested in a PDP stronghold in Irepodun. The same week, a top female PDP politician from Ilorin West was arrested for possession of sample ballot papers issued to polling agents of all parties by INEC. That was followed by an EFCC invitation to heads of key ministries and Governor’s Office based on a ridiculous petition by a group linked to APC. The surprising thing is that the same EFCC which has refused to act on petitions against prominent APC officials from months, acted on the petition within a week. This has raised suspicion of bias against EFCC which appears to be acting out an APC script designed to intimidate our members. Also curious is the arrest and detention of Senator Rafiu Ibrahim over the reported attack on Alhaji Lola Ashiru, his opponent, during the week. Rafiu was no where near the scene of the attack. Yet he is being held by the police after voluntarily giving a statement. Unless something is done, the Senator won’t be allowed to participate in the election.”
For now, PDP members have reportedly gone underground for fear of their lives with the intention to surface on election day.
Politics / Revealed: Apc Plot To Rig Elections With Cloned Inec Vehicles In Kwara by Omoafonja: 4:59pm On Feb 15, 2019
REVEALED: APC PLOT TO RIG ELECTIONS WITH CLONED INEC VEHICLES IN KWARA

Contrary to its public position on conducting credible elections in 2019, the All Progressive Congress(APC) has hatched several plots to rig the elections in its favour by perverting the February 16 Presidential and National Assembly elections.
In Kwara, the APC has perfected plans to rig the elections based its desperation to take over the state politically and thwart Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki’s return to the Senate by cloning INEC vehicles for the purposes of rigging the elections.
According to a source close to the plot who squealed the plan, the plot involves equipping fake INEC vehicles manned by equally fake security agents to illegally procure ballot boxes which will then be taken to secret locations for rigging.
According to the source, the four vehicles with the following numbers in their registration(064,069,071, and 076) will be deployed to known PDP strongholds across the state where they will pose as INEC officials and take away ballot boxes to secret locations where the party’s agents will stuff the boxes with already thumb-printed ballots in APC’s favour.
The source who said he decided to speak out following his disgust at APC desperation to frustrate the electoral process through intimidation, rigging and vote buying , advised the public to be alert to the vehicles or any others and demand identification from the INEC officials and security agents who accompany the vehicles wherever they are spotted during the elections.
