Learning can also take place through engaging in discussions and arguments...

I believe people who have more or less knowledge on the discussion have picked something from the argument, and I've come to know you can negotiate rate if you're an employee, this doesn't apply to outsider who will find that rate mouthwatering.

I wouldn't doubt that cox its another way for such organization to make life easy for their employees.. and so far the company offers job security, they definitely can...

To be honest I think you are one shifting ground

From the beginning, he made it clear that his wife could get a loan with a 5% interest rate, spread over five years. It seems like you didn't ask the right questions as regards details of his statement

My cooperative group also offers the same interest rate, but for a one-year term, and it's available to both staff and non-staff. So, it's entirely possible for banks to offer similar terms to their employees.

😁😁

I never shifted anything, my claim was which financial institution will give loan to customers for more than 24months, and I never mentioned anything like employee or staff and when he said his wife was offered 9m for 5years, he never mentioned it was from his wife work place.

My initial stance was, no financial institution will give first timer for more than 24months, go back and read my first quote.

How does all this even relate to the main subject matter, if una wan argue, make una dey argue base on who brought the argument, y'all will agree with me no financial institution will offer such loan for a customer at that interest rate for more than 24months.

Any further quote on this topic will be respectfully ignored..

The time for back and forth argument has passed.

Lolz, you just dey shift from the initial talk, that guy that wants to request loan, did he tell you he's a staff of a bank or any financial institution?, the argument was, no bank or organization will give loan to customers on 5% PA with duration more than 24months.

But you came here to claim he can get it, I asked how and you said car loan to bank staff, is he a bank staff?

When making point, make your point on the subject matter, and don't go outside the box, in this case, the subject matter is our guy who's FG worker and not a bank staff...

Sir I dont know why you are arguing, some banks and even CBN give their staffs single digit interest on loans.
This is well known na

That 5% PA was before CBN new policy on loan, currently, the least to is 7% thereabouts...

Reconfirm again.
Has to be per month. Hardly per year.
So, if you are given N1m you get to pay N1m divided by 12 which is N83,333... + N50,000 monthly.
Not N1,050,000 at the end of the year which you are implying.

Are you minding that man, imagine getting a loan for 5% interest rate in 12months.

He obviously don't know what he's saying.

Yes, any of the banks branch is fine.

That will be a great way to put the question without making them go on the defensive. The main request is to confirm the rate at which the bank gives out loans to members of staff.

Members of staff or customers?

You also have to be reasonable. I don't reside in Lagos.

Any other member of the thread can accompany you and Pearl1910. My presence or absence will not increase or reduce the interest rate from 5%.

The screenshot is not giving me confidence. I'm not divorced and still married to my wife who still works in the bank as of this night. Common sense should tell you I have reconfirmed from her.

I posted it to let you know you will lose if you go ahead with it.

5% Per Annum right.

Sorry, I don't do bets that way, the trio will walk into the bank and we get the information we need from the bank together, if you're down, I'm down....

Okay, thank you for your understanding and breakdown.

Still observing it sha, cos getting a loan from bank is another pot of beans entirely, especially when all these useless loan apps don spoil person credit rating finish.

I hope my bank will overlook them and look at my consistent payslip for the past 2yrs , cos I don't plan repaying any loan as I dey so oh.

I will only be honest with you, but only you will face the consequences of your decision ...

If you intend to approach your bank for loan, before they can grant it;

1. they will first look at the inflow in your account, if the monthly inflow is less than 300k, I doubt they will give you upto 4m

2. The Company you work for has to be registered coz they have list of registered companies, and they will reach out to them to confirm your employment.

3. Your credit score is very important, if it's poor, forget it.

4. Banks interest rate to customers is 1.5% monthly at least.

But, since you work for FG, there are companies that make use of RRR and gives government workers loan at a very good interest rate....

Send your 100k to Pearl or any known member of this thread of your choice. I will provide evidence on mail to the same person that interest rate on PLAS and car loan for bank staff is 5% PA. Upon confirmation, the 100k is to be added to the one from IFSHR and shared with regular members of this thread.

The one that will never believe in your gibberish online,

Since you have shifted it to bank staff, I will still stand that even bank staffs don't get 5% Per annum.
My initial bet was to outside customers but you're shifting it to bank staff which I will still place the bet

And, why do you have to proof to me with an email, let's walk in to any branch of that bank and enquire about it, that's the only way you will get current info.

I'm not interested in any bet with you because you'll lose and I don't need your money. You are ignorant and still arrogant in your ignorance

Interest rate on car loans for full staff of banks is 5% pa. Same as their PLAS. Short for personal loan against salary.

While PLAS has a tenor of 1 year and the loan amount lower, car loans can be spread over 5 years.

Again, what you don't know, you don't know.

See where you're shifting to, do you even understand the bet at all?

I said no organization will give loan to a first time loaner and you said there is, now you're saying banks give car loan to their staff and not outsiders🀣🀣 on 5% annual interest rate, you just dey drift and shift shift, even car loan either to bank staff or new customer will never be 5% annual interest rate as of today, what you're saying is years back, when you're not conversant with CBN new policy, how will you be updated.

My bet is, there's no loan you will seek now that will be 5% annual interest rate..

Investment / Re: Online Loan Apps Have Ruined My Life With Debts.. by Omoapena(m): 9:32pm On Sep 10
lebete3000:
Hello guys. I'm liviteach day in depression as these online apps have ruined my whole life with debts.

I find myself repaying each debts with another loan collection.

This has made me become a drunkard, as I try escaping reality by getting high.

My realtionships and work is suffering because of this as I don't even have time for them, as my mind is precoccupied with how to clear off my debts.

I got into trouble last year August and had to collect debts to clear off my issues.

Since then, I've been going from one debt to another just like a curse.

Here is a breakdown of all the loan I'm to clear off:

1. Fairmoney: #51,330 every month till 04/12/2022

2. GTBank: #55,000 every month till 08/12/2022

3. Aella: #47,400 overdue as at 16/04/2022

4. L-credit: #42,000 due on 03/05/2022

5. Carbon: #30,000 every month till 30/06/2022 making 3months

6. Branch: #30,200 every month till 14/08/2022 making 4months

7. Hcwallet: #19,800 due on 03/05/2022

8. Nairaplus: #25,000 due tomorrow 29/04/2022

9. Migo Loan: ₦ 66,338 due 24/05/2022

10. Easemoni: #65,000 overdue as at 24/04/2022

All of the above loans won't even be giving sleepless nights except for the last two I'm about to wrote below. These ones are billing outrageous sums for every day I default.

11. KashKash: initially #96,000 overdue as at 25/03/2022 but has now accumulated to #153,000 by reason of default. They'll continue to add #2,500 everyday till I pay up. I'm even afraid of paying partially cos they might not even recognize it, and see it as if I haven't paid anything, so I go just dash them the money be that.

12. Okash: initially#135,000 overdue as at 23/03/2022 but now #210,000 as they're adding #3,080 everyday till I pay up. The same predicament with KashKash applies here too in terms of paying partially.

The saddest thing is I don't have anything tangible to even show for all these debts. No car, no business, no land no any investment.

Just debt is all I have to show for this money.

I'm earning #270,000/month but the rate these guys are jostling for my money, I don't even know who to focus on sef.

Someone advised me to ignore them all as they won't allow me have any single savings, but I'm scared of the blowback of a bad credit score, which some of the loan apps like Okash, KashKash, L-credit, Easemoni and some others have already done against me.

I'm a medical doctor planning to eventually leave this country someday, but with my present dent in my credit score, I'm scared ignoring them would affect my leaving the country eventually.

Guys help me out with your sincerest advice please.

Thank you very much.

I don't know about rates. I am particular about repayment duration. grin

Lolz.

But you said your wife have access to loan company that offers 9m for 5% annual interest rate.

Since you're shifting it, I will still tell you that no loan company will give you loan for more than 24months repayment plan as a new customer.

Oya, should we bet on this?
