Business / Re: Nigerian Woman Returns N38m Chinese Company Mistakenly Sent To Her Bank Account by omoidunnu: 6:23pm On Jan 29, 2021
The funny thing is that the woman was actually ignorant of what really happened.

This is a classical case of money laundering. She was used as a mule. The so called Chinese must have planned this and transacted with her knowing fully well that they will not consummate the transaction.

The aspect of negotiating the return amount is a brain trick to throw her off suspicion that no one is perfect. Before contacting her to do business with her, they must have checked her out well unknown to her just in case she refuses to return the money.

Anyway... Just what I think.

Family / Re: HELP! My Brother Is Too Dull by omoidunnu: 11:34pm On May 29, 2020
Gundel001:
Hi good day my fellow Nairalander please I will really need your experience about this issue. Please help me read to the end as it is a little bit long.

My junior brother is 14 years old and to be sincere I haven’t seen anybody as dull as him. I don’t know if it is natural but I just can’t understand why someone at that age could still be struggling with very simple arithmetic. My brother can’t write 1 – 150 correctly at 14.

He seems too dull; note he attends one of the best private school around our area, though I know you might say maybe education is not his way but even if you want to drop out from school you should know some basic things like money, time, multiplication and so on but my brother doesn’t know anything I must say, even to write his name correctly is a problem. It is making everyone unhappy lot of money is being spent on lesson teachers and other things for him still no improvement.

I am a student of one of the top federal University in Nigeria same as my other siblings even at both secondary and undergraduate level we were always above average so I can’t say his problem is genetic. I really wants to know what is the problem with him nairalanders. After I finished secondary school I once taught some pupils in primary school though there were dull ones too there but with time I could see improvement unlike my brother i always try to teach him from time to time but it kind of frustrating as he doesn’t even seems like he will ever grab anything and he doesn’t behave like he wants to learn anything.

He makes it seems as if he is not interested book or arithmetic at all …we all tried talking to him endless time to always read any time he his less busy but he never does except he is being forced.

He rarely talks, he loves to keep to himself always, he doesn’t have interest in anything unlike we the others that are die hard football fans, most times my mom will tell him to even go out to play and mingle he will not still want to go, he prefer to stay at home seating all day without reading or doing anything, even if it is to draw or play football he wont.

This matter is not making everyone happy at home we don’t even know the solution to his problem again, as in imagine having a child that is 14 years old that doesn’t know the difference between 17 and 71 it is just so bad…..

We don’t know if his case is mental or spiritual. please nairalanders I know there are child experts in the house or anybody who have experienced something like this before what do you think is the problem and possible solutions to the problem your contributions are welcome.

Please help me push this pleaseeeeee

Actually, not to sound funny but in truth, you are the dull person.

If you were smarter, you would know based on your narration that he is a special needs child. Likely Autism or dyslexia or some other form. Its nothing tragic, really. They usually have a special talent that needs to be harnessed.

Most of the greatest innovators or legends had this traits. Think Einstein, etc...

First thing, you need to do is change the topic of your post from your brother is dull to your brother is a special needs child.... So you don't sound dull.

I wish you good luck in harvesting his special abilities.

Now we see who's immature? Keep running your mouth like a pig rubbing its snout in sewer.
I'm not a mechanic, yes you're right, I'm not a dealer, yes you're right. But then you're way too stupid to be taken seriously. Face ya front.

Lol. Dull boy

You are right... you are not a dealer... based on your profile... you are a car agent... you don't even have a stake in the cars you sell.

Btw ...I am wondering why gazzuzz said he will buy a car converted by you. You are not even a mechanic. Damn. Lol.

I am not sure you can measure up to half of my qualifications, my IQ and real life experiences, while i am much younger than you are. But, i should not start ranting about that. I can see you are really over matured, wise and over educated.

Meanwhile, this is the thread on the Honda where i commented.

I think you like attention.... unless you use a different moniker and learn to speak politely... I will stop responding directly to you.

Chief if I hire you to do an investigation and professional assessment on a car, I expect you to live up to your calling. You should not be seen to compromise your integrity and reputation on emotion or sentiment on the contract. It is left for me to bargain on the defects pointed out by you upon inspection. The right of choice to purchase lies with me the buyer and not you my professional consultant. What I am trying to say is that I can either go with your recommendation or discard it altogether and work with my intuition. For you, you've done your bit and rewarded according.

To fault you on the other argument, a car seller need to know the state of the vehicle he's putting up for sale. In fact it's his prerogative concern to make sure he put the car in working order before advertising otherwise he need to clearly state such defects before a prospective client. I've watched numerous YouTube video where a little as a tiny dent is disclosed in a garage lot and I am telling you about clean title vehicles. In reality, a seller should be very proud to tell his customer : "come with your mechanic from Pluto for inspection". Stop this car owner being unaware of vehicle defects.... Who do you want him to bear the carelessness cum liability, intending owner?

Stop being emotional and accept professional conduct of a celebrated auto technician.

Hi Freshvine,

Like I metioned earlier, Gazzuzz knows the works... I respect him for that.

However, he exaggerates his recommendations which is enough to dissuade an intending buyer from reaching an objective decision.

I respect him, I just want him to be fairer in future adjustments.

In celebrating him, I am also advising him.

Im in car inspection not to look for only good things about a car, but the faults. Stop wimpering like a nepios. And before i start inspecting a car physically, i must had gotten the previous history of the car before it landed naija. Like i said, bad belle dey worry you, keep wimpering like a jaundiced child, i siddon dey look you.

You are obviously very immature, dull or an illiterate. Have a descent conversation. Learn from the comments of others.
