I just finish filling the form for the registration of NOUN's University MBA program.

I didn't see "registration completed" or an email in my inbox notifying me of completion of the registration process, although I have a form number (as shown by the Attached image).

Is this a normal occurrence?

Hello house, please I haven't seen any email from NOUN university that has my registration ID, hence I can't proceed with my application.

This doesn’t add up, I feel the CEO might have been stealing money too. This could be a calculated move by the CEO, how on earth do you give an employee all the required access and privileges to run a business.

My take is, the ceo set up this employee and he fall for it. Now the investigation is mainly on the employee.

I am a Kwankwasiyya from afar, but I never believed Kwankwaso will miss this golden opportunity offered to him to be Obi's deputy. No matter how wonder we paint Datti, he has no influence in the north as much as Kwakwanso. Kwankwaso would have stolen a lot of Atiku's vote in the north, while muslim-muslim ticket would have stolen some Tinubu votes in south west.

On the PTDF portal, I applied for 'IT Cybersecurity' and 'Information Security' to University of Glasgow (all 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices). To my greatest shock, I did not see this course on the university's postgraduate page.

Kindy assist with an advice.

I flew in to Abuja this morning from Lagos with 0630am flight and I was at the venue by 0930. My interview was scheduled for 1030am but we were all allowed to sit orderly in the auditorium and they were attending to us in the order you arrived.

I stepped out to visit a friend around knowing fully well I will use his Colour printer to print some document and I was back by 1050am. My interview started 11:10am and my questions were:
What is your name,
Which state, local govt?

They then asked me to submit my Documents in this order, First Degree, NYSC and O Level.
For the O Level, I gave them my NECO and the guy spotted my WAEC and asked for it. I explained to them that there was D7 in the WAEC that was why I am not using it. And he said thank God I brought it cos I can combine the results. They picked all the distinction on my WAEC and picked the other high grade on the NECO.

Afterwards, I was asked me to summarize my Statements of Purpose in two(2) minutes. One of the interviewer underline a statement on my statement of purpose where I was talking about my long term goals of developing the Nigerian Navy Cyber Security department. I shall told him the Nigerian Navy provide security to the oil platforms and all.

I was then asked for my professional bodies certificate, I gave them 4. Computer Professionals of Nigeria (CPN), Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), Cyber Security Expert Association of Nigeria (CSEAN) and National Institute of Management (NIM).

They asked why I choose the particular University on my application.

Lastly, I was asked the nature of my job in the Navy.

I wasn’t asked of any publication but I have one with me and I also have some of my awards but I wasn’t asked. They just told me best of luck and I told them thank you and left.

My Opinion: Seeing the multitude of people that came for the interview and knowing they are picking just 4 per state then you need prayers and God‘s Grace to pull this one through.
You can just wear Kaftan or sew up and down in Abuja center, they didn’t even comment on the dressing.

I applied IT Cybersecurity in University of Glasgow and had my ptdf interview in UI.

Thanks for all the answers so far. I really appreciate everything. Let me spill the beans. I think the major reason she does not like KPMG is because of what I passed through while writing my ICAN. She is so terrified of it but I believe she is brilliant and can do it.

For those saying she is yet to get the Stanbic and Meristem she did the final interview and she is 80% sure of getting both.

ICAN is not compulsory o, it’s just for higher pay, and secondly writing ICAN is dependent on the unit she finds herself (cos there are other exams that are unit dependent)

I advise her not to miss her training to write a mere test. More so, she does not like accounting! Many people I have seen in KPMG complain of Job burnout, so it is not all fun there. If she got Meristem offer, she could take it. Meristem does investment, and the salary is good too. From Meristem, she can get into other experienced hire role she wants.

You should be glad her effort paid off! Many 2.1s are still looking for jobs for years!

She can take a day leave na ahbi she want make them tell her wetin to tell training school inorder to go for the test? Anyway advice don already plenty self, it’s left for you guys

Bank job is better than meristem.My candid advise for her is to embrace any work out side the banking industry.There is no guarantee in the bank at all.Bank can sack any staff at any time without prior notice. If she can not secure any other job , she take the banking job and start saving immediately . While looking fo other good jobs like lecturing and other well secured job.

For banks, she should certainly go for Stanbic IBTC. It’s a good bank to work with.

KPMG is a very good choice though. The international name It carries is good on cvs.
The pay might not be as high as Stanbic though.

All in all, I don’t think she can make a mistake picking any of the four companies above. She must be a brilliant person to have gotten all four so she’d be Fine.

Pay may not be high, but overtime she will earn more cos the promotion rate in consulting is fast compared to the bank.

If only she knows the opportunity with working with a Big 4. Some of the benefits are quick career growth, friendly/smart environment, easiest way to jakpa (cos of their reputation) and many more. Big 4 / consulting gives the opportunity to meet executives that a banker at your level won’t be privileged to meet and you happen to work on different clients and engagement. The demerits are you go work tire, you go attend meeting tire and you go write report tire

Bank growth is not fast, you can earn a particular amount for years before one promotion touch you. You don’t get to learn alot working in the bank (just routine stuffs).
