You must submit your sponsors bank statement if you include a sponsor on your visa application, whether you apply for education bond or not. However If you apply for education bond, your sponsor doesn't need to have excess cash in account. Education bond would serve as sufficient proof of finance.

My advice to you is to use education bond and your personal bank statement. Leave sponsor about of your application. It brings in alot of difficulties, like;
1. Strong link to your sponsor (with evidence)
2. Sponsors business registration documents
3. Sponsors tax clearance papers
4. Sponsors bank statement and letter from the bank
5. Sponsors explanation for lump sum lodgements (in and out cash with evidence)

Etc

Reasons related to sponsors are one of the highest reasons for refusals

Thanks a lot for this, meanwhile just for clarity's sake, Is it okay for one to use only an education bond without a sponsor and pay complete tuition for 1 year if someone is going for a 3-year bachelor's degree studies. Will it affect the visa decision as there is no proof for subsequent years after the first year

In other words how can one prove this if It's self-sponsored "Evidence that you or a sponsor have access to at least €7,000 for each subsequent year of your studies, in addition to the course fees for each of those years".

Thanks for your insight, I just got my passport today. It was approved grin

Please how much minimum amount does a student need to carry as (cash at hand) when entering Ireland?

PS: I already have a 7000 euro education bond receipt.

Hello, please I have a question regarding using education bond, with an education bond are we required to submit sponsor details?

that's strange. at what rate were you debited?

I think it was about 470

You must have used a USD zenith card because last time I checked, naira debit cards are banned!

Actually I used a naira debit card, I tried other bank's debit cards but they were rejected by Transferwise. Surprisingly Zenith Naira Mastercard worked.

Hello, good morning

Please anyone who has paid their application fee, what bank did you use or how did you go about it ?

I have seen some mention of some methods but there is no actual confirmation by anybody on what works except the method of getting someone abroad to pay for you.

Please if anyone has done it from Nigeria and it worked , i would appreciate if you could share how you got it done.

Thank you

I did mine from Nigeria and I used Transferwise. I credited my transferwise USD account by using my Zenith Mastercard, then converted the USD to SEK directly on wise platform before sending the application fee to University admission account

Thanks boss, I appreciate but I’m still not clear about your answer.

1 if you say , I should demonstrate 1 year on my proof of funds, if I am doing 1 year. So I would demonstrate 3 years as I am doing 3 years program? Or I will only demonstrate the balance of my second semester of my tuition fee from the first year plus one year cost of living for 1 year?

2, so if my study date is August 29, admission notice comes April And I have plans to apply by may ending or 1st of July Which months Statements am I to submit?

As much as I know, we are only required to demonstrate balance for 1 year living expenses it doesn't matter if we are going for 3 years programme but always good to add more funds if possible.
PS: I am applying to 3 years bachelor programme as well.

Regarding your second question I believe that information is on the Swedish immigration website. I will recheck.

Hello guys, please If someone is going for a 3 year BSC programme and is self funded. We are required to pay for one semester, do we need to show the remaining 2 and half year semester tuition fee in our bank account alongside funds for living expenses when applying for a resident card. Or we are only required to show funds for living expenses?

Thank boss

Concerning payslips am self employed as I said before am helping my dad to sell in his shop and no payment of salary per month.

But this our family friend has CAC documents ( or is there other additional documents to add)

Also do polish do block account the way Germany do before you apply for study visa?

I just need to be guarded on all this processing to avoid mistake. Thanks

Hey bro. Do not use CAC Documents. They will reject it. Your only best route is payslips or Credit card certificate for proof of funds

This means your Dad may be unable to provide you with CAC documents for his business (since he’s a businessman and not an employee)?

For Poland Student visa processing, anyone can stand in as sponsor provided they have the required documents (payslips or CAC documents especially) and the funds. Chance of obtaining visa is high if your documents are in order.

Don't use CAC Documents. They don't accept it
