Sorry but the information here states the opposite:

Europeans are pretty big to most Africans. It is not until Africans move to Western nations that they gain incredible weight.

i thought white girls are generally slimmer than African women

all the nigerian girls i know suffer from big belly

MsRoe:

Let's first distinguish between the economic conditions of a place and the progressiveness of a place regarding women's liberation. I do not think people leave Africa for the Middle East (Dubai included) for the sole purpose of escaping female subjugation. They would go to Europe or The Americas for that. They do, however, leave Africa to escape the harsh economic climate, because (yeah) Africa is 'still hellish'. It's not comparable.

That said, when it comes to women's liberation, I am not saying that we aren't oppressed; even the West hasn't gotten to the promised land with the feminist agenda. I am saying that we can do something about without without fearing that we'll be stoned in the streets for raising our voices. We have women in the work place, we are not confined to our homes by law or religion. It is our responsibility to use our voices to better effect.

What we battle isn't our laws; we use templates from liberal countries (of course the northern states are exempt) What we fight, largely, is the prejudiced whispering from societies lot, which we are too fragile to withstand. A woman is afraid to want things that attract the 'feminist' label; she doesn't want to antagonize the men. We are going back and forth with it, harboring our internalized phobia. It's not laws that restrict us, it's our need for male approval. And who would have sympathy for that?

African women have to be unapologetic in their commitment for women's causes. They cannot be shriveling up whenever a man threatens that she would be single for the rest of her life if she doesn't drop her advocacy for feminism. We have to have thicker skins that that.

what is the benefit of living in Africa
isn't living in Africa like being a woman in the middle east

i grew up in Nigeria, the place is so horrible

many Africans comfortable in the middle east rather stay there than live in Nigeria that looks like a refuse bin

Culture / Cameroonians Hate Being Bullied? by onila(f): 7:07pm On Jul 23, 2017
is it the same way whites hate being bullied?

Cameroonians hate when people criticize their culture and way of life
but don't mind bullying other people

when you argue with Cameroonians, they make it look like ur fighting a war worse than WW2

But we freely fight with Ghanaians, South Africans, Kenyans every day here, but at the end of the day, we all learn from each other without hard feelings on how to better ourselves and countries

why is it different from cameroon

white people always criticize other peoples cultures( women rights in the middle east, africans not accepting homosexuality)
do whites also care when people criticize their culture

Wow, something refreshingly different...........finally.

In the Middle East, if anyone dares to disrupt the structure put in place by Islam, they do so at the pain of death. You can't compare the subjugation of women there and here. They desperately need advocates from around the world. In Africa, we are an eclectic bunch. We largely operate under supposed progressiveness when it comes to women' lib. Our women are free to speak and fight for what they want. Our laws aren't so unfriendly to women; what we need to battle are the unwritten social and individual biases. And the only people stopping us are we ourselves.

living in Africa is still hell fire

we should have equal attention like them

many Africans are sending their kids to dubai, and all those strict Arab countries to school despite their harsh laws

looks like living in Africa is much worse than in Dubai

It probably is, but it is not better than many countries in Africa in treatment of women. You saw how Do***.T**ump referred to women. Also, the fact that there still has not been a single female president in the U.S. but there have been several in numerous African countries.

In the West, women are seen as objects, at least in Dubai, they respect women to the point that they should not be getting pregnant before marriage (call me old fashioned but not old from an age perspective). I think it's important that women are in a financially stable relationship before even considering having a baby, so in a way what the UAE is doing is a good thing.

America is not the only white country
UK and Germany have female prime ministers

are you saying black men don't say grab them by the pu**y too close doors with their guys

abortion is illegal in uae, women don't have rights to abort even when raped

white women have rights

Why aren't white people concerned about women's rights in the Western world? Women in Africa actually have more rights than women in the West.

in dubai, you can't get a girl pregnant before marriage or you will be arrested and be sent to jail

white women don't have to deal with that, the west is much better the arab world

whether you like it or not
